First time dining out since the lockdown and I was not impressed. I am not sure what was happening today but the ribs were the worst I have ever had, I mean I have had store bought ribs that were better and the nachos were poorly done I was just not impressed felt like I wasted my $$..... very poor customer service never again!

I'll be concise- avoid this place. Did I go to a completely different restaurant than the other reviewers??? I'm a 6'7" massive void of a human who never complains about food but this stuff was complete garbage. Went for family day and the food was disappointing all around. It's also just incredibly expensive, and there's no justification for it. Charging an extra dollar for a bit of mayo on the side of an $18 club is just petty, especially for a chain restaurant that can most definitely afford it. Paid $17 for ten wings that were more bone than meat and came with a side of four veggie sticks. Anticipated this wouldn't be enough so decided to get a caesar salad side not realizing that it would cost another $7 and be the size of my fist. Seriously insane. If someone forces you through those doors please avoid any type of salad, we ordered a Cobb and a Caesar (side) and they both came with little to no dressing. Staff were really nice, that's about it though. I'm not one to complain but this was just a completely unparalleled experience. I've never felt so ripped off. Ruined the family outing and an awful way to end off a holiday.

Service was good but the food was an issue. 5 people, 2 had to re order because the kitchen ran out of two different meals. The dessert was ordered by my wife and was told they were out. So a different dessert was offered. Two cheesecakes and both were stale. Desserts were comped and meals discounted. Next time be upfront, don't let people order and then come back a few mins later and always check the quality of your desserts, especially after its been a few days in the fridge.

The food used to be amazing with high quality but now it's low quality with the higher price. We order chicken wings and Pierogies, wings were dried and tasted like they were cooked in the same oil multiple times. They were dried and both items were tasteless. I am extremely disappointed.

Last Friday I enjoyed a great lunch at Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill in Pickering!

The worst experience ever in a Canadian restaurant. The waitress was a person very nice and professional, but the menu was very reduced, and when we ordered and received the steak, it was like a meat sample. Overcooked or reheated. Super small size compared to what we had the first and last time we visited the place. We had to return the order and I got half of mine because it was my only meal during the whole day . It's winter, but the floor and place it look dirty, and some chairs broken on top of the table remembered me my third world country. I understand the covid situation and the employers trying to survive, but it is better to close the place until the situation comes back to normal. I didn't get any pictures of the meal because we are very frustrated.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks here on Valentine’s Day! We ordered the cauliflower bites as an appetizer, which were delicious. And I ordered the beyond meat burger with fries, couldn’t be happier that this is an option here! Service was great! Our server was attentive and always made sure we had our drinks topped.

The food and service was amazing. Love the upscale look of this location. Will definitely be coming back here!!!

A newer location in Pickering. Took the family here for early dinner on a Sunday. Optional seating inside and there’s a nice patio. Location is great - Whites/401. Food was good - really liked the options for kids. I went with the Tennessee Chicken Sandwich. Hoping it had more of a kick to it, but still enjoyed. We ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap. Kids had mini cheeseburgers and the chick fingers. Nice decor and clean inside. Would go back for sure.

The food wasn’t anything to rave about. This was my second time eating here after eating here years ago. The waitress was nice. They do need more servers though because we had to wait a while before she was able to take our orders. It took about half an hour for our food to come out. The atmosphere is pretty loud so don’t go here if you like having peaceful meals. I don’t think I would go back here to eat.

We dined in a few weeks ago and I have been determined to write a review after the incredible customer service we experienced. It was a weeknight and there was a party happening in one section and maybe only a few servers on the floor. That did not stop the kindness and attention we received throughout our meal. The food was quality, drinks were cold and we left very satisfied and happy we visited. 🙏🏼

I have been to shoeless Joes a few times for lunch in the past couple of weeks, the food is really really great, Lisa formally of the 50’s Diner and now the manager has obviously brought her positive friendly profession attitude with her, loved the Cobb salad , try it out you won’t be disappointed in the food or service .

Went there with a group of five. The restaurant was absolutely not busy. After 15 minutes someone finally checked in with us. They took our order and came back with our drinks. From there it took them 40 minutes to bring us our food. They didn't check on us once in that time. We were sitting outside and getting a little uncomfortable since they never returned to bring us water again. They then brought out 2 peoples dishes to placate us. We waited another 10 minutes for the rest of it. We ended up asking for the bill and containers as our experience was ruined. To top it off there was a hair in my food, which I know wasn't mine due to the length.

Great experience! Came to watch sports and have a few beers but the live music was an unexpected bonus. Entertainer was extremely talented as well. Will definitely go back!

The restaurant was very nice inside. The waitress was professional and friendly. We were a party of 8 women. We all received our meals in a timely manner. Waitress check to make sure we had everything we needed. I had the fish tacos. Received 3 tacos. They were delicious and filling.

It has been long time since I went there ,but the food was great as usual and the service excellent ( the beet salad with the goats cheese yummy 😋) Cheers

Sorry I had to change my review from 5 star to 2 star I think the management changed and they became completely disorganized and can't handle the work We were a table of 10 It took 1 and half to bring the order, that's not the only thing the food star coming in slow and 1 at a time, by the time I finished eating my wife had had her plate yet. Extremely rude people I will not come here again and I don't recommend you to try

Went there with junior A hockey team with parents from Hespeler, Cambridge. Waitress and manager were excellent. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Will visit again when in area

Food was terrible. Fish, steak & shrimp was totally overcooked/burned/charred. Service was excellent, friendly & fast.

Went there with my whole family and we had an amazing time. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. My kids loved it.

From the moment we walked in, things were not good. Restaurant was not busy but we were offered drinks after waiting for a while - felt ignored as other people behind us were being served. Every single order was either burnt or messed up or tasteless. Chicken was burnt and when complained reply was so sorry. Kids burger, no flavour. Ordered Chicken flatbread and got a pesto flatbread. Portion size was small . Only good thing happened was flatbread & brownies was taken off bill as they realized how bad it got messed. Cherry on top is all this was on Father’s Day. My kids felt bad for me. Will never return. Thanks.

Always a great time here to catch up with your old buddies you havnt seen in a while to spark excitement for SHOTS! great atmosphere and close to home. Make sure to have shoes on when walking in or else Joe will have something to say.

Haven't tried the food yet. Menu looks awesome though. Just went by for a few drinks. Great service and excellent prices!

10/29/2021 - It seems like management has changed as there is a noticeable difference between my experience and the previous reviews of this restaurant from 2-3 years ago. The staff are pleasant, friendly and were well dressed for Halloween. The ambience was nice and the restaurant was clean. We were immediately greeted, seated and served with water and our waitress checked in with us every 15-20 minutes to make sure we were okay. She took our orders quickly and the food was well prepared and tasty. I will be coming back and would definitely recommend this restaurant!

This is tough. On a rare COVID-era date, my partner and I showed up for dinner. The place was comfortably lightly trafficked on a Friday night. We had nobody beside our table. My steak was very well cooked. But the mashed potatoes were only slightly above room temperature. The vegetables were slightly undercooked (fried) - basically little more than warmed. And the asparagus.... I think they forgot to chop off the woody ends. It was inedible. As for my partner: "the shrimp dish was OK, but it wasn't what I expected. I was disappointed." Service staff was friendly and fairly efficient. We should point out we were there several weeks earlier and left with no complaints. We understand that COVID makes hiring kitchen staff more difficult, and assume this was an unusual night. Still, next time, we'll go somewhere else.

I usually really like it here but the last time I went they were lacking on covid safety. There was someone without a mask on walking around and talking with the staff very close to my table, and the bartender who was serving us kept their mask below their nose the whole time. I felt really uncomfortable and I will likely not return during the pandemic.

Nice ambients. Their fries is great only if you ordered the chicken and fries. But once I returned back and ordered just it's fries. It was different. Not sure if they changed it or it's just different fries when you order separate.

Since they got new management this place has really turned around. The food and service have greatly improved. They have the best bartenders. Megan was great the last time we were there.

My hockey teams comes here after games. The staff are great. Last time we were there we came close to midnight there closing time but they didn't rush us at all. We were still able to get drinks and food and they us stay as long as we needed. The staff here are great. Our server was megan and she was great

Nice place to meet up with friends & family or just watch a game. Got a decent variety of food & drinks in their menu. Look out for their Happy Hour deals. We had a nice afternoon out at the patio.

Had a wonderful dinner here with the family. Appy hour on a Sunday between 2-6 meant $5 tacos and $4 rail drinks. Atmosphere was great, comfortable like all shoeless locations. Service was excellent and quick. Would recommend!

Great sports bar to hang out at. The food is great. The girls who work there are great, especially Megan. She always remembers our order. We love coming here

A friendly spot for both drinks and food. Cocktails are well made, and servers are helpful in recommending dishes. Plenty of entertainment nights with live bands and trivia nights. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Pickering Shoeless Joes location recently. The restaurant has a nice feel, it looks good, & has a nice vibe. The food was good, and the tall boy beer price was great too. But the thing that really made the difference for us was our server. Lisa was really friendly, she’s obviously experienced, and really knew how to attend to us. We felt like we were her friends…she was also super fast and efficient…. We felt great with her looking after us. We definitely will be back as SJ regulars.

Had a wonderful time here! Delicious vegetarian options, Sam created a personalized cocktail for me that was delicious and when I suggested she "surprise me" with what I should have for dessert, she asked the right questions and nailed it! Thanks to Lisa too for making us feel so welcomed! Clean and comfy too! Highly recommend!

The place has great food, friendly, attentive staff and a great new vibe. The band Sat Oct 23 was the absolute best! The staff worked tirelessly all night to accommodate our group. We were thrilled with how they took care of us. The new floor manager has brought this place back to life and I can't wait for the next band night in Nov.

Heather is an exceptional, compassionate kindred spirit who we love. Our son adores her and she is literally the reason why we keep coming back (okay....the food it pretty fantastic as well....but Heather <3). We aren't huge on chain resto's, but this particular one if our fam-fav. WE LOVE YOU HEATHER!!! Definitely a Cheers vibe ...but in the year 2022. That's a really good thing <3

I always hope I'm going to love what I have when I don't order the Fajitas and this time I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a fajita bowl and it was well presented, fresh and was a substantial amount. My 3-star rating is more a reflection of the extortionate cost to feed myself and 2 teens for lunch on a special outing day. $75+ with taxes and tip for a lunch is a little rich for my pocket. I shouldn't be surprised with the food cost increasing, but it hardly seems worth it to go out anymore.
