Under trained staff, absolutely the worse customer service I've experienced in quite a long time. Considering their industry, they might want to reconsider and try retail sales instead. Absurdly long wait times for food (the place was practically empty) and the food arrives cold, thankfully it was edible. We ordered a takeout meal just before we were done to bring home to my mum (at home with 3rd stage cancer) so she can enjoy some restaurant food and take her meds. We waited almost 50 minutes AFTER our plates had been taken away for our takeout order!! And when I brought this to our servers attention she stayed she would speak with her manager. He just sent her back with a condescending excuse of an apology and did not come to speak with us. I again asked to speak with him directly, at this point the apology was mute. He tried to actually avoid speaking with us until called him a coward across the entire restaurant when he physically tried avoiding us. He was unapologetic and did nothing but make pathetic excuses. He could not even process our bill properly, we had been gifted a gift card from a client and he struggled with the pay system the restaurant uses and was quite flustered.

ordered a Rib and Wing combo and somehow they forgot to include my ribs in the bag… wings were overcooked and mediocre at best, fries were made from frozen but kind of soft and limp. Best part of the meal was the gravy, so I definitely wouldn’t order from here again

Second time and food was delicious! We have now sampled 5 apps, 5 mains and weren't disappointed in any. The food is very flavourful, hot and plentiful. Great variety of eclectic foods. The place is a little worn, but the staff are friendly and service is at a reasonable pace for dinner. The prices, especially these days, are quite reasonable for the portions

HUGE menu! When you keep asking the waiter to give you a few more minutes to read up, make lists of preferences and discuss options with the table you know you are in for a treat! I had the squash ravioli and it was delicious. Been other places where it was nice because they put nutmeg in theirs but they would only give you six wee pieces and you'd finish it wanting more. NOT THIS PLACE - they nailed it. Lots of lovely tasty perfectly squared up raviolis and lots of veggies swimming around in there too. Didn't finish my plate it was so much food. THAT is a first for raviolis for me! Well done. The server was lovely. He was behind the bar and serving tables, was attentive, friendly and didn't have to write down our orders and we were a table of four. Love to see that. The strawberry daiquiri was very good and if anyone is "following me on Google Reviews" let me add that you need to ask for two straws as I'm finding in my latest daiquiris that the thin straw gets blocked quickly and frequently and no one likes that. Husband ordered steak yorkie and he couldn't finish it! The chicken wrap looked good and so did teriyaki stir fry. Definitely make this a regular for us!

This was our 3rd visit - and still love it as much as the first time. The server remembers us...she is a delight who loves to travel - and is always smiling and helpful. There is a lot on this menu to try! Next time I will remember to take a pic of the food - honestly never think about it as I am ready to dig in! Super service, great food and an atmosphere that is chill. Looking forward to going back!

Stopped in for a quick snack while waiting for meds to be filled at the Shoppers. Been a while but the owner recognized us as soon as we walked in (nice touch.) Still pretty empty as we all seem to be slow ramping back up. Well, it just made for lots of attention which is never a bad thing. My wife went for the broccoli soup (vegetarian) and a salad. The soup according to her was close to the soup I make (with love) and the salad was huge and fresh. In fact it was so big she ate it for the next 2 days. I went with chicken wings and fires and both were perfect for me. The coffee was fresh and perfect, the meal great and the service fantastic.

My order was delivered by UberEats. The small container for my side order of normal gravy was only half full, it looked like a child sized portion. The wings were more breading than meat and the 2 chosen sauce/seasoning were flavorless. The one star is because it's as low as I can go and the fries were great!

I was in on Monday August 7 for dinner with my husband. I had great service from a young waitress there by the name Hannah. She was kind and attentive it was our first time going there and we will definitely be coming back thanks to the friendliness received from our waitress. The food was outstanding as well. Very good pub food I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

My boyfriend and I sat on the patio the evening of Saturday Aug 12. It was a nice atmosphere, and only one other table was out there with us. Our server was friendly - but ultimately ineffective. It felt like she kept forgetting about us. Our appetizer came before our drinks, and our side plates/cutlery. There were also multiple times other tables' food was brought to us. I asked to substitute cheddar cheese on my wrap instead of Swiss cheese. She said it was no problem. I got my wrap, and this modification was not met. She apologized, blamed the kitchen, and walked away. I only ate half of it. There was no modification to our bill, no asking if I wanted something else instead, and no manager who came over. As I said, she seemed to have forgotten our table existed, and was very sparse with her check ins. My boyfriend ordered the steak and shrimp, and he thought it was delicious. Overall, nice atmosphere, subpar service, and decent food - if made to order and correctly.

Great restaurant with good food. Very generous serving sizes. One of the best spots in Durham. The manager, Shan, is very welcoming and took care of everyone. 100% reccomend!!

The service that we had at the restaurant was absolutely impeccable. My daughter was feeling a little down and the waitress (Andrea) was just so caring and thoughtful and helped cheer her up with ice cream. She checked in on our family regularly to make sure the food and everything was good. Really delicious. Will absolutely be back for sure !

We were in the area and decided to check this place out. Definitely glad we did, food was super good and the service was great. We tried the calamari, and battered mushrooms for appetizers and got the chicken curry & chicken carbonara for mains. Everything tasted great, but the mains really stood out. For pub food this really exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Love this restaurant, I have gone to it and ordered online and it’s always a great experience. Their chicken Caesar wrap is my favourite ever! Hard not to order it every time I go!

Love going here for my weekly lunch with one of my friends. We love the wings and the service is amazing from Azinet - she totally has the kitchen in shape! She knows our drink order (I think she knows all the regulars) and has it ready for us and always has great recommendations. She’s super friendly and makes sure everything runs smoothly. My son also loves the peanut butter cup dessert lol.

Went here for the leafs playoffs game. It was busy!!! Kudos to the servers for staying on top of their game. Special shout out to Andrea!! She was bouncing from table to table and holding down the bar making all our drinks too. At times I thought she was working the bar because she was going a great job servicing the patrons there. She was super friendly and made our experience at Piper, definitely coming back!! Thanks Andrea!!

We enjoy weekly visits to your pub. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Draft prices are the best around. I recommend the curry, so good! The Guinness is top-notch 😎

Made a reservation for a large group of 40 during a local girls hockey tournament. The restaurant was beyond accommodating. They were able to provide us with the backroom of the restaurant. They sat the team together, and the parents in the surrounding booths. The service was amazing as they had the appropriate amount of serving staff for the group. They had water on the table for the team when we arrived. The staff was very kind and friendly right from the initial phone reservation. The food came out quickly, and all the orders were correct. We had zero issues will any of the bills being separated as there were 17 different bills, and the prices were phenomenal. Any allergies were addressed. We didn't feel rushed by any means, and told us we could stay as long as we needed as they knew we were from out of town. We had positive feedback from everyone who attended. Would highly recommend, and will most definitely be returning when in the area!

Great sports pub with a bigger menu than your average pub. They offer food from wings, pasta, lobster, lamb shank to fish and chips and much more. Lots of TVs. Lots on tap and weekly specials. Good service. Green vehicle charging station nearby too.

Food was great, and the staff were super friendly and on par with service. Excellent atmosphere, we went and watched the game and had a really good time. Was quite busy top, however we still got food and multiple drinks in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out, or casual drinks watching the game.

I ordered the pork schnitzel on Sunday night at 9pm (takeout) and wasn't expecting it to be so good. It was in fact delicious. The schnitzel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with a tasty gravy and mushrooms & onions on top. Mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables were very good also. * I just wish you had put utensils / napkin in the bag !!! Or asked me if i needed them.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. We love going to pubs for meals and this one is definitely one of the top places we enjoy. Our food was delicious at all very reasonable prices and the drinks we ordered were tasty! The service was top notch, Donna was our waitress and she was absolutely lovely and took care of us from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. I would recommend Pipers Arms in Whitby as we will definitely be returning to this location.

My co worker took me here for the first time on Tuesday. Which is wing night omg the wings was fantastic and garlic parmesan the best. No regrets my favourite wing spot for now on
