I want to start by saying this Popeyes location used to be good and the employees have always been great, but recently noticing inconsistency in the quality of food. In some of my recent visits, especially on Tuesday’s, the chicken contains undrained blood and seems to be old (as in, not fresh) with a bad odour that renders it IMO, uneatable. Although, I am sympathetic to state, as Popeyes is primarily in business of selling poultry, there will be variations in quality (poor to great) due to sourcing of meat in large quantities. I hope the process in quality selection of poultry can be enhanced. I will continue to dine at Popeyes periodically and alter my review if the quality is improved.

Avoid this location if you plan to order bone-in chicken, the standards and quality have become extremely low. The chicken tastes old, dry, and is extremely small compared to other locations. Have been eating Popeyes for years and have rarely had bad experiences like the one at this location. From the other reviews i can tell i am not the only one experiencing this. The workers are no help, they only disagree and tell you the manager is not available to speak so they have no answers. Do yourself a favour and visit another Popeyes location.

Food was good we got spicy chicken and spicy wings and butterfly shrimp. The chicken had couple of small pieces so they gave us 2 extra. Butterfly shrimp was super tiny, would not recommend. Spicy wings were truly spicy. As always a ton of fries, were fresh too

Came here this evening on October 17th at approximately 9:30pm. The place was not busy so we got our order pretty fast. When we got home, midway through our meal, I noticed that my chicken had hair embedded into the breading. It's not something that could have landed on top because you have to pull it out of the chicken or breading. This is beyond disgusting and I just don't understand why they don't take the proper measures to ensure cleanliness. I hope upper management sees this or this should be a caution to upcoming customers. Please check your food carefully from this location and try to address it asap if you can with them.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had with any restaurant. We arrived at Popeyes at exactly 2:54 and the worker told us, after taking our order, that we should have come earlier because they are closing. Their website and giant sign on their door both say that they close at 4 am. And based off of other reviews, clearly they're inconsistent with their hours and choose to close whenever they feel like. In terms of our order, we had a large one and they didn't give us multiple things. We didn't get our large fries and they didn't give us our 3 delta minis. This is around $12-$15 lost because they didn't give us what we ordered. The overall quality of the food was horrible. chicken tenders were way too salty, fries were fried in old oil so were incredibly bitter. This Popeyes is horrible, the workers have a lot of attitude and the food is not what you pay for. You're better off starving then ever eating here. If I could give a place 0 stars I would for this location

Very Rude Behaviour she doesn’t Know How to Speak With Customers And We spend more than $60 shift has changed and the new cashier Or server and she show very bad behaviour And she said that Our complaint come every day and I specially requested that watched the cctv recording from 9:30 to 10:00 pm. And she also said that we don’t care about your feedback this is our daily routine matter. Now its our duty to tell everyone to avoid this popeyes frenchise she did not give tissues and plates.

I ordered 5 piece chicken tender. I was in shock that I paid almost $20 and got tiny dry crumbs for chicken that look gone off. Other locations I have visited have nvr served me anything like this. There is a big lack of quality control at this location or they are on purpose ripping the public off. Now I understand why there were no customers there when I went when it should of been busy being it was the 3 piece chicken deal day. The sad part is the lack of education and basic intelligence from the staff there. They laughed and could not understand what was wrong... I refused to eat it and got my money back and will nvr return to this location. I will be reporting this to head office because it is unacceptable.

Don’t wanna give even one star.. Poor quality of food, Dry pieces looks like made in the morning and selling it whole day.. Saddest part is i did takeout and can’t go back to show this.. Wasted money and have thrown food which i was so upset about.. Very Disappointed… Staff lady named Faiza was so impolite and was just arguing, should know how to communicate with customers properly.!

This is the location I frequent the most. Their food is fairly consistent and service is friendly. I've noticed that their spicy chicken is sometimes dry/overcooked at times, but this isn't always the case. Overall no complaints.

Worst Popeyes location I have ever been!! They never follow their hours on google. When I’ve gone there they have refused to take my order because they wanted to close early. things that are made are all sloppy! I’ve even had hair in my food once. GIVEN THIS LOCATION MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS, each one a fail.

STOP CHEATING I'm regular customer and I always order spicy wings and chicken pcs, this was my first time visit to this location and they gave me the worst children wings I have ever had. This was not POPEYES CHICKEN QUALITY AT ALL. I have tried many outlet but this wings was WORST,VERY DRY, SMALLEST WING'S I HAVE EVER HAD, NO SPICE ON TOP, VERY OLD CHICKEN. I SUGGESTING PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MONEY TO THIS LOCATION.

Food quality is not as it use to be. Service no Napkin, ketchup or hot sauce or spoon you have to ask for it. There is lots of sitting space but they keep it close all the time.

Was here in midnight to get some fats (and protein). Staff are nice. 5 stars for customer service.

In the last month we orded twice from this location. Both times we recieved bottom of tge barrel pieces. Even though after the first time my huband said something. Wish i can upload a picture! Open your boxes before leaving.

Staff is ignorant. Didn't ask for take out or dining and packed all food for take out when I ask for trays for individual order they refuse to provide. Now when I went for refill, she told me that each refill you have to pay 85 cents, I asked where it is mentioned so they told me it's our policy... Now hand written paper is displayed on drink refill machine.

I love to eat Poutine with extra gravy on every Friday because of special deal. Taste is amazing 👏.

The best customer service I have ever had at any Popeyes by far. Came in after 12 am Tuesday August 3rd the cashier was so kind and made me wish every cashier could follow her lead. The location is very clean and the chicken was cooked to perfection ( hat's off to the cook as well) Way to go the best service award should go to this location.

If I could give it a zero I would. Saw that their Uber order is on and there was over half an hr left for closing, decided to go in person to pick up, first they wouldn't open the door then when she opened the door, she said, we are closing early. Then why are you still online for orders? Not the first time they have done this, why do they say they are open when they actually start cleaning up after midnight 🤷‍♀️

Ordered a regular sandwich platter with bbq. Didn’t get the biscuit or bbq - didn’t realize until after I had gotten home. Which Is sad because their biscuits are my favourite and the main reason I go there ): I will be making sure next time to check my order is complete before leaving! Food was fine, restaurant seemed clean and there were out of order signs on half the drink options.

NO STARS. Poor service. I was waiting over 25 minutes as they served guests that came after me. Not professional. It was very hard to understand them and were unable to do simple instructions that I asked. Waste of time. Please hire English speaking customer service in Canada thank you.

I love this location! I came in here to try out their $30 holiday special ( 10pcs, 2 large sides & 5 biscuits ) Since I was ordering a large amount of pieces, I was actually able to get some fresh chicken made just for me The customer service was great & the food was delicious! I highly recommend grabbing their daily specials as well. My favourite is the Thursday special.

Probably the best Popeye's location in Durham. Some locations you can tell the oil hasn't been changed and/or the chicken is not fresh. Not here though! Been here a few times and food is always fresh, hot, and no smelly old oil taste. Owner is friendly and appreciates his customers. 1st visit he apologized for the wait because they were cooking up a fresh batch just for our order. The wait was well-worth it.

Very good customer service. Equally good food. Been to this location more than ten times already. I would def. recommend it. Love their spicy chicken. Kids nuggets are very good as well.

Went to pick up the usual Tuesday special around 9pm, there was 3 ladies in the front all chatting in their own language and ignoring the store traffic and only one of them is taking orders and serving customers while the other 2 keep chatting and gossiping even though there was a line or 5 or more people waiting. This makes me wonder why don’t they just have 2 kitchen staffs and 2 front of house staffs instead of 1 kitchen and 3 front of house

Food quality is good. What I observed one person came to the store and asked about the job, and even they advertised on their cash counter and on the outside glass door, but they lady over there refused him that they were not hiring. Why do they people play with innocent people, I decided to boycott those restaurants to buy food from their if they posted that they are hiring, but actually, they are not hiring.

I haven't ever had a problem with this establishment, and I have ordered from this location many times. The chicken is fresh and tasty, one of a kind fries, and the only brand I know that offers Mac and cheese as a side. The chicken must be eaten that day for optimal taste, but leftovers are still edible.

The management here has been super nice with us with the service and the food was great as usual!

Went there on May 19th, 2022, later in the evening, probably around 8-8:30pm. I'm mentioning this, so the owner knows exactly who to congratulate! Maybe give them a bonus!? The two young ladies we've interacted with were, hands down, the best employees we've seen so far there! So polite, very professional and a delight to deal with. Greeting and thanking everyone and "Come again! Have a wonderful evening! "... Very, very nice! HOWEVER : 1. The chicken tenders were VERY salty, so I would ease on pouring that much salt... And this comes from someone that eats very salty...😬.... I'm sure this was just an oversight and my next order will be just fine, right? 2. WHY isn't there a TIP JAR⁉️⁉️⁉️ I hope next time I'll be able to see one. Customers should be able to have this choice... I always like to show my appreciation and you haven't allowed me to do so ☹️☹️☹️.... And if this is franchise requirement, it's STUPID, so let me know because I will honestly take it further! ❗️I'll update my review after my next visit regarding the food and the tip jar. And I will be returning because those excellent 2 employees 😍 !

My second time at Popeyes, 1st at this location . I got the 2 mini bite Wednesday special and rings. Mini bites were good and hot but the onion rings,, ahhh not so good. But I'm going after the old school Burger joint taste. Store was very clean and staff very very polite. Excellent job for a Big Franchise.👌

Insane… i ordered 2 1/4 lbs popcorn chicken and this is how it came out… both orders fit in this one tray and weigh .39 lbs…. Take your business more seriously. Ive ordered on uber eats before only to get 1/4th of my order…

I was there at 3:45am and they were closed. Time is money. If you close at 3:45, list it. Don't say 4am and close 15 minutes early. I travelled all the way to be disappointed. This location is super whack.

Its 4 35 came from Scarborough. It says open till 6 am . And the lady saw me walking to she still close .

This was my 2nd time ordering from this store and both time they messed up my orders. chicken are really dry and old. ITS DISGUSTING!! They even gave me wings when I said NO WINGS! They don’t even bother to follow the instructions! Also only 10/12 pieces of fries were in the box! Ridiculous! Never again…

The sizes of the chicken are almost close to wings lol I didn’t know Popeyes sends different sizes to different stores ;) better to spend your money somewhere else

This Popeyes is very good, clean, and has very good food, and customer service. I went at the Popeyes at 3am yesterday and the lady there was so kind, gave my order fast and it was fresh and the best food I had. This is a very good Popeyes and I will come back again 100 percent. The customer is very fast so I recommend this to everyone.

It took me years to actually go here. The chicken is really good nice and crispy and spicy if you want it to be. This location had a very enthusiastic young lady that was very helpful. Kudos.

the manager was very polite and the staff were friendly. The meal took a while to make but was worth it because of the freshness of everything. Will definitely go back at some point.

When I lived in Pickering, I felt like this place was sub par. Chicken fingers (what is usually get) always tasted old or stale. They gladly replaced an order one time so kudos to them. Their chicken has usually been very good thiugh

Not an exciting place for dine in. Even though claim ghost pepper wings to be spicy, they were just mild. Chicken and French fries were good in taste.

Made an order for pick up, was told it would be ready in 20 mins. Drove to the Popeyes to pick up my order…the cashier (lady) said she forgot to make it. Cool, I don’t mind waiting 10 mins. Then when she gave me the order she forgot the fries said I didn’t want it… so waited another 3 mins for fries for pick up. Never calling over the phone for a pick up order here. 1 star for customer service.

The size of chicken breast piece is super small looks like wings. You pay extra for upgrading all pieces to breast, but they chop off a standard size breast into 2 pieces. They always mess up phone orders as well. Will avoid this store.

This location is NOT RECOMMENDED. WORST SERVICE OF ANY POPEYES I've been to. They screw up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME. They'll ask you what pieces you don't like and then give you more of that piece (1 time I asked for no thighs and i got 6 ... what chicken has 6 thighs?!!). If you spot the mistake while they're putting it in the box they'll try to convince g you a though is actually a breast. Or they'll forget one of the sides but still charge you for it. I hate to say it but I keep going back every so often because it's so close to my home but not any more. I'm sick of the horrible horrible service!!

Please consider the health of your customers. This is unacceptable to disregard the standards and procedures for food hold time and quantity. Because of that the quality just deteriorates and causes food poisoning. Please try not to throw your owners and investors money like that.
