To begin with, the place itself is nicely decorated and the booths are private so I loved the atmosphere. The server was attentive, so we did feel looked after. The cons are a few, hence the two starts. First, I ordered the fish tacos made with cod and they smelled very fishy and old, even our waitress acknowledged it. One would expect the dish to be taken out of your bill or discounted as it was not enjoyable; however, it was not. I had to pay for a dish that made me nauseous. Finally, at the end of our meal, the waitress kept passing by asking us what we needed which is fine, but she asked so much we felt rushed to get out. Other than that, the fajitas were good and it had a nice presentation.

Everything was pretty good. We got the spinach did appetizer which was kinda burnt and hard, but still tasted okay. They service was a bit slow as there was only one server, but overall it wasn’t too horrible but not the best.

Family dinner at Montana's is great. We had Erica as our waitress and service was superb! Appetizers and drinks were quickly served and the food was simply delightful. The kids loved their ribs! The food was truly a treat.

Dayna was such a friendly server! We came for lunch and food was great. The Ribs Sampler and the Lunch Trio was just as expected. Thank you for an enjoyable lunch!

The service here is great … our attendant was pretty welcoming and pleasant … had a good attitude and made us feel grand… we were a family of four … the menu isn’t vast as some places but it has all the good stuff .. we ended up trying the hot wings and a cheesy garlic bread for starters which were pretty good … the chicken was just spicy enough and the garlic bread had a good flavour … for mains we got a Buttermilk Chicken… the fish and chips … a chipotle burger and a soup… everything was excellent (a bit too salty for my taste but that’s a personal preference as we intentionally don’t consume much salt at home) the food tasted fresh and it was served hot. Now for all of the above i give this experience a five star rating because it had all the essentials and I didn’t find anything lacking. But here are a few things I’d say you might encounter but they weren’t a deal breaker for me … a) the food took some time to arrive … like approx 20 mins … the server was apologetic but the wait had us questioning after a while … the food was salty for us … but again I have explained that earlier … rest was great man .. I’ve seen some bad reviews below mine but we didn’t experience any of that. Go here with family or friends it’ll be a good one. We didn’t have the traditional ribs or brisket so can’t comment on that but I’ve heard it’s good. If you end up having it let me know.

Came in after a while and it was so busy! Staff were really friendly, food took a bit longer to come out than usual but the restaurant was full. Our server Nate was attentive and very friendly! He kept us updated on our food and always checked in if we needed anything! It was great to be back after a while, would love to come again soon!

My family went here for my son’s birthday dinner, very disappointed overall. The pull apart bread appetizer was cold and disgusting. Steaks were so salty and chewy, burger was not fresh, clearly a frozen patty. One of the worst meals I have had out in years….the prices are ridiculous for this quality of food! Service was very mediocre, had to remind staff to bring my son’s birthday dessert and was told the manager had to review the email to be given the free dessert. Definitely won’t be back, it’s no wonder so many locations have gone out of business!

Kristen was a great server. She made us feel welcomed, 9/10 service! The staff, from the beginning, were really nice. Kristen came back to check to see how we enjoyed our meal, which was nice of her. I do feel like the food could be better. The presentation was nice. The cornbread and their corn side could be better. The ribs were not deeply marinated

My family went here for my birthday dinner, very disappointing, the only significant part of the experience was the front staff & our waitress. The pull-apart bread appetizer & baked beans were great as well. Steaks were Raw, not the way we ordered them/. Onion rings were disgusting. One of the worst meals I have had ever at Montana's Then the manager brought out a dish & when asked if it had a particular item on it, he declared no but it had said food item after all. Disappointed. Service was Excellent hence the two stars I definitely will go back to give them another chance, We understand Covid, but we also know that we are taking the time to enjoy your establishment & expect some moral common sense for the quality of food/knowledge of proper management etiquette. If our waitress sees this, you are remarkable and worth the time ( you make the restaurant experience worth coming back ) Whitby Ontario location

Arrived around 6pm on a Friday night. Erica was our waitress and she was awesome. Took extra care to make sure our son was content including a special dessert. Very friendly service and the food came in a timely manner. Portions were generous and fairly priced in todays market.

Had a birthday dinner at the Whitby location, and the staff was friendly from the get-go. Our server Erica was warm and pleasant the whole experience. Overall it was a pleasant and friendly experience. Thank you Montana’s and great big thanks to Erica!!!🙌🏾

Ordered wings and a burrito bowl which came out steaming hot. Our server Shae was lovely and very attentive. The chairs on the patio could definitely be more comfortable for those of us with hips though :) Pic of hubby's burrito bowl.

Maddy was an exceptional server who was very nice and knowledgeable. Extremely friendly and efficient. Had our orders correct and really quick even though the restaurant was very busy. Even apologized for the wait and thanked us. Welcomed us at the door with a smile and was a good sport. Thanks to her wonderful personality and work ethic I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return here again when near by. Thank you Maddy!!

Tried the new drinks today and they were delicious !!! The Canadian Burger was amazing and the best part was the service. Our server Jen was friendly, attentive and recommended the new drinks 🍸🍷🍹 Came in to Montana's again tonight and tries their Beef Rib, forget Ribfest, it was gigantic and so delicious 😋 I could hardly finish it. Erica was our server and as always was super attentive and friendly. She made sure to check in our table every few minutes. Came back again on one of the busiest Saturday afternoons and Dayna, our server, was just awesome. Our drinks were never empty and she always checked to make sure we were taken care of. Once again I tried to tackle the beef rib....its a monster, but one of my favorite items on the menu by far. We can always count on Montana's to provide good food and great service.

YVery polite ladies, went there early evening for my besties bday dinner. Happened to be $5 tacos which she enjoyed. Food was well presented not sloppy considering tacos. The hostesses sang for her they were great. Wonderful dinner. My phone wasent working to do an onspot review for 10% off make sure you do yours!!!

Went to Montana's for their Monday half price wings deal and it certainly hit the spot. Our server Dayna was great! Food & drinks came in a timely manner and she made sure we always had everything we needed. Place was clean, food was tasty and great portions. Will come again!

Angela was awesome as a waitress. She was professional & friendly. Service was fast! The soup & mac & cheese really hit the spot, before heading to our movie (early evening) in this entertainment plaza. Would definitely come back & recommend to others. We have been to this restaurant before. Also, glad they are part the 'Scene points' partners.

Great family friendly restaurant! Environment is very relaxed and is good for a nice casual evening out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cheesy pull apart bread is a MUST have !!!!! It's The fresh, cheesy goodness. chicken tacos with fries were also very good.

This place could have been a lot better. The staff were friendly and it has a nice vibe. However, the food took almost 50 min to come. All the food was barely warm. The steak was very chewy. The sizzling fajitas had no sizzle. My sons garlic bread was terrible. They forgot his drink until I reminded them. The cookie that came with his meal was dry. The only thing that came quickly and tasted good was the beer. Based purely on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

Great service with our server being Chelsey she was really fun and great costumer service as she would always check up on us and make sure that my friend were having a great time and the food was also good.

We had a lovely experience at Montana's. This was our 2nd visit. The staff is super-friendly. Our 5 year old loved the crayons and the huge brown sheets spread over the table to express his creativity. The food was yummy! Portions were large. All in all, a wonderful experience. I would go back!

Alex had Happy Anniversary written in hot sauce to surprise my husband. Made Our dinner so special to help us celebrate. Polite and friendly and food was so awesome as always

Great service. Our server was very friendly. Food was super good as well. I did write this review last night only after we had appetizers, which were good. We waited so long for our meals. We were seated at 5, the restaurant at that time wasn’t overly busy, at 620 we were still waiting. We didn’t actually end up leaving till 730. Most of the food was cold, and my son said he found a hair in his chicken. I also got a to go meal, I asked for medium and the steak was actually well done. We were celebrating a child’s birthday and there was nothing offered to him and I’ve been before on my birthday and I know they do something. I’ve been to Montana’s many times, it’s always been good. I think it just got to busy. Hopefully our next visit will be more enjoyable.

It's been a while since I've eaten at Montana's. I had a gift card, good for multiple restaurants but Montana's seemed to be calling my name. It was a nice cool sunny day so we decided to sit on the patio, along with several other diners. We were greeted by our server who presented us with menus and offered drinks. I chose the Chicken Burrito Bowl and my friend, who had eaten recently, just had a cup of coffee. The food arrived and looked good, albeit a wee bit messy. There were nice grill marks on the chicken and, while it tasted good, the overall presentation was below par. There were greasy fingerprints and bit of food splatter around the edge of the plate, which obviously hadn't been wiped. The rim of the plate was also chipped. In the beginning, we had to ask for our table to be wiped clean. There was obvious evidence of the previous diners. If they were short-staffed, I would understand some of the shortcomings but they appeared to be well staffed and it wasn't busy during our visit. Food: 3.75 | Service: 3.5 | Cleanliness: 2.0

Great food. We ordered wings and our friends ordered ribs and no one was disappointed everything was amazing!!! And because we had a lot of scene points saved up a 70$ bill became 4 dollars it was an amazing anniversary dinner. Cant wait to go back. Would definitely recommend trying this place.
