Let's be honest, you come here for the price. The sports atmosphere is great inside, but it's still worth a trip on the patio. I rated 4-stars however because it was extremely chilly the other night and there were no heaters. Get heaters/coolers and it's a solid 5-star. I suggest a mist machine with an optional beer chug challenge. Like the coca cola one's they had at wonderland back in the day. Then it'll truly be the summer spot!! That being said: $6.50 domestic Stein's $5 burgers (mind you they're hockey pucks at every chucks location. Ask for it pink) The best $12 steak you'll ever have (top sirloin) Half-priced apps after 9pm is really what makes this the spot to drink with your buddies. For two people we got: 2 Stein's, Nacho's with buffalo chicken, cheese fries, 2 burgers and a 7oz steak. (And I feel like something else I'm forgetting).. Came out to $70 before tip. Can't beat it. Server was nice.

Chuck’s was a below average experience. Reached at 11 and weren’t given a table at first even though the closing time is shown as midnight. The steak prices were the only great thing in our meal but they were literally what the price dictates; very cheap quality and dry. Only enticing factor is they have 50% off apps after 9pm every night.

Are you serious? Mozzarella sticks - $10 for this few? Are you kidding me? First takeout in Stouffville too. Big yikes, but steak is not bad. Highly recommended to avoid mozzarella sticks appetizer from them.

Been here a couple times, friendly service, great price, and food was up to par. We were celebrating our son’s birthday, party of 8, ordered a bunch of appetizers and mains. Appetizers were pretty good, wings was done well, my daughter loves the cheesy garlic bread, steak bits was a bit blend. Mains we ordered Chuck’s burger, Montreal smoked meat sandwich, and some of us went for steak&lobster, the filet mignon was juicy and tender but the top sirloin was a bit tough and chewy, you get what you paid for. Smoked meat sandwich was a bit dry but acceptable. The burger&fries was done well. We brought a birthday pie and our server was nice allowing us to eat our own desert (we asked prior of course), and even provided a candle, nice gesture! A suggestion to add fried calamari to the menu. Overall a solid 4.5stars!

My friends and I have been going here a while. We love food and always have had a pretty good experience. We used to always come for the after 9 half price apps and it was always no problem! No drink required and even if it was 5-10 minutes before, the servers would still honor it. However, when we went in this week, we were informed that their policy had changed. It was strictly after 9 pm and now a drink purchase was required as well? The second part isn't even stated on the menu. We were told this was the decision of the new management. I am writing this review to warn everyone of these changes under the new management. Adding new and tacky rules not even officially written rules that completely ruin the customer experience. We ended up having to wait an additional 10 minutes just to get our order in. Who exactly benefits from that? the customers are unhappy waiting, other customers now have to wait longer, and the servers have the flow of their order taking ruined as well. Not like there's a huge lineup of people coming in at like 7:00 asking for the discount, id understand that but it's just 10 minutes before. Please give you servers some autonomy - they know how do their job. The new drink policy is ridiculous as well - if you're gonna enforce it then update your menus to include this information. I can say for certain that customers don't like being blindsided when there's an additional hidden fee off what they're paying. I really liked this place and want to come back but this new management really has no idea what they're doing. Save a few dollars on the tacky and strict rules and help customers feel like they had a good dining experience. That's what will keep people coming back.

Was really busy when we went Tuesday night around 10pm but our waitress was great. Portions for the wings, rings and fingers was more than usual compared to other locations I've been to.

Ordered medium rare, steak came well done, and by well done I mean not good. Ribs were good. Edit: Sent you an email, thanks for following up on this, looking forward to hearing back.

Atmosphere is nice. Service was good. Food was ok. The Spinach and Goat Cheese appetizer was very delicious! We got Fish Tacos, which was fried, chicken tacos was nice, ceaser salad was yumm, onion rings were greasy, the burger was huge, sweet potato fries were tasty, the steak was ok..a little chewy. There was a $4.00 leafs charge on our bill along with the goodness honest charge of $3.47. Have visited this restaurant twice and the Leaf charge was something new. I didn't even bother to ask about it.

Highly recommend going for the 1/2 price appetizers after 9pm. We ordered a bunch of appetizers such as bruschetta, wings, dips, quesadillas, and fries. Their appetizers were decent, but the greatest thing was that they were half price, and the portions were generous. I'd definitely return for the half-price apps. What a great deal!

Prices are fair, much cheaper than a Lonestar or other similar chains. Note that the restaurant bakes in a service charge on the bill, so prepare to make adjustments or you'd be leaving a very big tip. Food wise varies a bit, a medium rare steak can sometimes be more medium where other times are more rare. There are good promotions during the week. For the price, the food quality is good. Would take my family here again.

We went with friends for 1/2 price Apps at 9pm. It was so busy cos Wed is also a Ribs special night. Food was good, Leafs & Raptors were playing. What more could you ask for 😄

What an amazing find. Great food for amazing prices. Such friendly staff. A 7 ounce steak with lobster tail half corn in the cob and a baked potato for only 27 bucks! Whaaaaat. But true!

We go there often since atmosphere is nice and price is good. We went for their 1/2 price appetizer last night when we went after 9pm, the waitress just seated a group of people, and when it's our turn, she told us there is no more table. We said we don't mind to wait a bit for the next available table, she told us we cannot wait for a table ?!?!? This is the first time I've heard that you CANNOT wait for a table in any restaurant, unless it's high end. This was one of our favorite go to restaurant, and now not as much anymore.

**Update: As per their request, I promptly provided them with the receipt and a screenshot of the review. However, disappointingly, they did not bother to acknowledge or respond to my communication. Despite following up with them, it seems that this is their typical approach. While they claim to value customer feedback, their lack of response leaves a distinct impression that they do not address customer complaints and simply do not care.** The food at this place is absolutely terrible! They simply serve frozen food without any efforts to prepare fresh dishes. It seems like they no longer bother cooking anything new. I've been there a couple of times this summer and the quality has consistently declined. Last Friday, we arrived at 8pm and requested to sit on the patio (coz why not, it's summers!). However, we were asked to dine inside stating the reason that the waiter assigned to the outdoor area had already finished their shift. So as told we dined in, ordered our food and a pitcher of beer. Unfortunately, the beer was served at room temperature. I politely asked the server to replace it, and she apologized and promised that there would be no charge. However, I was still billed for the replacement beer. When I voiced my dissatisfaction about this unpleasant experience, both the server and the manager simply offered a half-hearted apology. To my surprise, upon leaving the restaurant at 10:30pm, I noticed that some customers were still being served on the patio. I am not sure if they simply did not want to put efforts into it OR were being bluntly racial. If you enjoy reheating frozen food and consuming it, then this might be the place for you. However, I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!

Burger party had flavour, but was a big hard overcooked puck of meat... not juicy. Burger bun and fries were dry, like day old. "Honest to Goodness" fee was explained as a "head office" fee. Honestly, isn't this just a sham to have the customer pay the franchise fee.

Our steaks were juicy and tender. My son loved his kids meal (chicken finger). Dessert is yummy!

Food was pretty good. The steak I ordered wasn't all bad, but it was still good. It's give it a 4. Their mashed potatoe was really good though!

Great place for steaks. The food was good and filling and doesn't break the bank. Porterhouse was tasty and the fillet mignon was so tender! Lobster tail was a tad overcooked but the sizing was just right.

While Chuck's taste and ambience are reliably great, what really made our evening special was Ms. Mackenzie's customer management. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Simple burgers became a gourmet meal just because of her great attitude. I hope management will reward her for her charming personality and great service.

First time there yesterday (in Oshawa off Thickson Rd). I had a smokehouse burger with fried sweet potatoes. The burger was so delicious! It’s juicy, fresh and tasty. Service was great too (her last name is Brown). Both my friend and myself had a very good experience in this restaurant, we will definitely go again.

I’ve been a few times for half price appetizers after 9pm, and also at regular hours. Prices are pretty good in general, but especially after 9pm for half price apps. They also have drink specials on different days of the week. The staff have been friendly and pleasant during all of my visits so far. Note that as of July 2022, there is a percentage up charge on the bill, probably for COVID and/or inflation reasons, that no one mentions at all, it just shows up on your bill.

Placed an order at 9:40p.m. for the the"Big Chuck" burger for pickup at 9:55p.m. After arriving and paying $22+ I watched as the meal was brought out and placed at the end of the bar. The bartender/server that took my money went around checking with other customers to see if they needed anything more and getting them to pay their tabs. Other servers came out and washed dishes behind the bar, took drinks to other customers and pretty well ignored me. Meanwhile, the bartender/server continued to visit with other customers. After about 20-25 minutes a gentleman carrying plates which he put behind the bar asked me if I would like a drink, which I refused and informed him that I was here to pick up my meal. After driving home which took less than five minutes as I live on Rupert Ave, I took a bite of the burger and just to satisfy my curiosity, got a thermometer and took a temperature reading of the meat, which was a whopping 106 degrees Fahrenheit. I didn't bother checking the fries temperature which were their fully dressed version, but would estimate that they were much cooler than the burger. Don't think I will be going back anytime soon... even for an meal in the restaurant.

Company staff celebrated Christmas Dinner at chucks, Denise, our server expedited the drinks and food orders in a timely manager for 20+ people, she deligently ensure our needs were met. The food and drinks at chucks is good value the atmosphere with big screen games caters for all. On the menu is 5+ items for vegetarian customers.

Too bad my burger was a bite dry, other then that all good.

The place was very clean and the staff was attentive. The food was alright but good value for the price. I recommend their cocktails.

Steak was great!! It was perfectly done and very juicy and flavourful. Service was very friendly. Wonderful atmosphere, the football game was on…. What more can you ask for ? Definitely will be coming back.

This has to be one of the best Chucks Roadhouse Bar & Grill locations I’ve visited in the GTA. Despite their franchisee status, they truly turn their location into a unique and personable experience, while maintaining the menu, prices, and LTOs that Chucks is often known for. You’ll receive Chucks quality of food (their wings are a staple item, although they don’t taste great) but their menu is super inexpensive for quite a generous portion. It’s definitely a go-to place when it comes to getting quite a lot of food for quite a little money. If you’re looking to eat and drink with friends, you don’t have to look any further! The waitress was awesome. I ordered a screwdriver (vodka & orange juice) to start and she was quick to use an easy-manner and make a joke about forgetting what it was, asking for clarification. Honestly, when a server is willing to ask or clarify something, you know that you’re going to be receiving exactly what you’re asking for. Awesome service, great prices, and if you’re hungry but not looking for a fine-dining experience, this is the place to go. We can’t wait to go back :)

Hi Chucks, my family ordered my fathers day lunch. Although we are not able to enjoy the food on site, they are still very good. Perfect ! Definitely will come again when the restaurant is open for dine in.
