Came for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the food experience here. Authentic food combined with a good ambiance and friendly staff made for a great dinner. We ordered a dinner set for 4 which was more than enough for 4 adults. The octopus was huge and quite tasty. The garlic sauteed shrimp was really flavourful. Paella was amazing and tasted great. The price is a little on the pricey side but I felt it was worth it. The food here is more for adults rather than children. I would highly recommend the food here.

In from out of town, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere and staff set the tone for what was a fantastic evening. Our server Chris was amazing, above and beyond in all areas of customer service. The food was delicious and delivered with care! It was lovely to dine and reminisce about our treasured time in Spain.

One of the better meals I’ve had in a long time. Yes it’s pricey but… well… it was great. We asked Miguel our waiter to surprise us with dishes and he delivered. The shrimp were phenomenal and even though I don’t like mushrooms I loved the mushroom croquettes. The paella was good as well, crispy. Thanks for a great birthday!

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. We made a reservation. It was not very busy and there was no wait. We ordered a few hot and cold tapes. Also ordered a T-bone steak and a paella. The tapas were pretty good but the serving was small. The T-bone steak was cooked to medium rare as requested. When it was served, the steak was not hot anymore. Maybe they didn't warm the plate. The paella was pretty big. The service was good. They cleared the plates quickly and refilled our water. Dessert was good too.

Located in a plaza with free parking. Restaurant is spacious and clean. Open kitchen concept and has an outdoor patio as well. Our party ordered a bit of everything and everything tasted delicious. Highlights for the night were: sardines and the anchovies tapas, Brussels sprouts, bacon wrapped dates, octopus, and the shrimp. Service was great and management came a few times to make sure everything was going well. They even gave us a complimentary dessert to try. Definitely a gem in Richmond hill and I will definitely be back.

Cozy little place with nice background music and a great selection of tapas and paella. The marrow was delicious, beef carpaccio, and the charcuterie were all very good. Unfortunately the mushroom croquettes (not pictured) were cold in the middle so that was a poor start. A nice touch though was that the server was able to increase portions for some dishes for each person to have one as we had an in between number for 1-2 dishes. It is difficult to share plates when there is not a lot of bread or other things to spread on for the marrow and for gras - our table made an extra bread order and it was 4 tiny pieces of toast. This is fine if you like to eat huge chunks of marrow though, but I find I prefer something to cut the richness and enable savouring it more. The paella was good but a bit “wet” - the crispy rice on the bottom of a paella pan is usually such a treat but it didn’t really have a lot of crisp. For $84 it comes with a decent amount of seafood and it was all nice and tender. Churros were delicious. Service was a bit slow at times and confusing between different servers / people coming to check on the table. Overall I’d come back - it was good, but it wasn’t mind blowing. Hard to find in a complex - I’d recommend driving around to find it first and then hunting for parking vs parking and trying to then figure out where it is.

One of the only Spanish tapa places in the GTA if not the only one - and a great one at that. Their menu isn't huge but the food is delightful. I've gotten takeout with them a few times during the pandemic but the sit down experience is much better. We really enjoyed each dish, with special call out to the lychee sangria, squid ink paella, mushroom croquette, and the kale salad! Service was fast and friendly as well and they take reservations :)

Came here during Covid & I wasn’t impressed but I came here recently post Covid & it was amazingly delicious! We ordered too much food but my favourite was the mushroom fritter. Wow 10/10 I could eat that all day. Calamari was good normal. Beef carpaccio was 9/10 would recommend. Scallop and kiwi was sort of flavourless. I usually really like scallops but this didn’t really taste like a scallop. Kiwi was a little overpowering. Clams & the Shrimp were both normal good dishes. Nothing exceptional but good. Sangria 8.5/10.

Food was adequate for its price. It's a good place to hang out with friends and family (may not ideal for young kids though, as it can get quite loud and restaurant does have a bar in it). Service was really slow, but understanding it might have been on a busier night than normal... Beef tar tar was good, quite standard. The seafood rice was lacking a bit in flavor, but we paired it with the garlic shrimp dish and used the sauce from there to bump it up a bit. Garlic shrimp was definately one of the better dishes on the menue, and the beef marrow was too. We also ordered churros. Those were honestly the highlight of the dinner. That being said, overall, would say there are better Spanish places in town if you're really aiming for an authentic experience. However, if it's simply a regular Friday night to hang out with friends, it's not a bad option, good vibes, and good drinks!

Came for one of my birthday dinners with 3 friends. I've been here before a few times and was looking forward to it! This time ordered all new things I haven't tried here before: Paella de Mariscos Salmon Tartare Brussel Sprouts & Chorizo Calamari Fritto Marinara Clams Crispy Pork Belly Crispy Baked Eggplant We asked the server to order us her recommendation for Eggplant- We wanted a dip. Not sure why she ordered us the Eggplant parm over the other option they had, which was more of a dip dish. Other than that the food was okay, nothing special though except foe the Paella as expected. The Crispy pork Belly was very Crispy and the orange sauce complimented well. I think the other times I came and ordered other items I liked those dishes better. Overall will still come back as it is one of the few Spanish tapas places uptown!

I went on a weekday evening. It wasn't busy so the service was amazing. Our server recommended the set menu for two ($135). It has quite a few items on there. I didn't really have any expectations here. The set dinner had a variety of flavours. Each dish is different from another. To my surprise, I enjoyed every item on the set menu. The beef tartare was a bit underwhelming. I've had better. I was surprised how the date wrapped in bacon tasted. It has a range of flavours in one bite. Mushroom/truffle croquettes were tasty as well. I was pretty full before we got to the end of the menu, and we had a bit leftover to take home. Paella takes about 45 minutes to make, so order right when you get there. It serves more than 2 people. If you order one you probably won't be able to eat other dishes (unless you have a party of 4 or more).

This was our first visit to Tapagria after the pandemic and if anything, it got even better. We had a set menu for 2 and a bottle of Spanish red wine (I think it was called Levo). We got a lot of food (a lot of tapas) and they were excellent. My favorite was dates wrapped in Parma ham, grilled octopus, and salmon tartar. The wine was also excellent - thanks to our waiter Chris for the recommendation! The place is pricey, so we only go there for special occasions. The bill for 2 people was over $250 with the tip but this was a meal to remember.

Beautiful atmosphere and design. Good place for a date or if you want a nice class dinner out. The food were really good and super flavourful. The charcuterie board and Paella are a must have. I would go back and would recommend.

I ate here twice on my latest visit to Markham and the food is great. I love the atmosphere and the service is excellent. They close at 10PM on the weekdays and I arrived at 9:15 after working late. I could tell they were not happy about it but they did serve me and were ultimately polite about it. I appreciated that because everything else was closed. I will say that although the calamari and sangria are good they fall well short of the calamari and sangria at Romaines in Northboro, just down the street from my house.

Missing our amazing Tapas options!! Lucky for us, we found @tapagriarestaurant which is about 15 mins away! Sooo damn good!! 😋😋Will definitely try the vegan gluten free mushroom and truffle paella next time. This time, I ate the kale and cauliflower salad, patatas brava and broccolini with romescu sauce. Fantastic flavours!!

My partner and I hosted a private reception lunch for our 45 guests in their private rooms and it was amazing! Everyone complimented the food and the service so much! So grateful to Yasmine for helping us with the planning and making sure everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return. Thanks so much for the best experience and tastiest food ever!!!!!!!

Decent food, service needs improvement. Appetizers were good, I had high expectations for the paella which was good but not mind blowing. I went with someone who spoke decent English but the server kept mumbling really fast and ignored her multiple times when she needed him to slow down and repeat himself.

First time here and we had an amazing evening. Phenomenal service, Christian was polite and gave us some good recommendations. Love the tapagria paella, the dates with cheese amazing, grill octopus and shrimps so good. The Spanish beer was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place.

Food was delicious, super fresh and flavourful. This location is a little far from everything but worth it to travel there once in a while. Paellas are for two people

One of the worst service in Canada. We tried to order and we signed the waiter and he waive back to us to wait until is finishing to clean couple of tables. We spend 570 dollars for a very bad service. The food it wasn't that bad but not even close to the best. Every time we ordered something the waiter let us wait and wait and wait. The only professional and nice person was one of the hostess guy. Not sure if I'm gonna go back. To bad he was looking promising.

This review is long overdue. This place is a hidden gem in the Markham area. The food here is impeccable and the service is top notch as well. I believe the owner is there a lot of the time as well, making sure that everyone is taken care of. Must haves: paella, squid ink tapas, salmon tartar tapas, bone marrow, and their Spanish draft beer !!! Have been here a couple times now, the classics paella is about $60 and can feed a group of 4. Overall a must try !!

Amazing dinner with the family. Ordered the set meal for four. Perfect amount of food for everyone. With a little extra to take home for lunch tomorrow! Service was top notch. Coming back soon. Things to improve ... Octopus was a touch salty. The sangria needed fruit at the bottom of the glass.

Food was ok. The Churros made up for the plates though. It was delicious!!! The portions were generous for tapas. Pork belly was on the dry side and the “crunch” on skin was a bit too hard. The service was good and staff, friendly. Ambiance is nice. Not bad for the area.

Let me unravel to you the tantalizing tale of culinary ecstasy that befell upon my senses on this divine evening. Words fail to capture the ethereal ambrosia that danced upon my tongue, for it was nothing short of heavenly. Imagine a symphony of flavors that spun in my mouth like a passionate whirlwind, leaving me breathless. It was not just the food that enraptured my spirit, but the server herself, (Debbie?) her wisdom transcending mortal boundaries. Let it be known that in this humble server, I witnessed perfection. Her presence, her recommendations *chef’s kiss*, my taste buds found food that I had never known existed. Oh, heavenly food! Oh, divine server! My heart shall forever remember this night of transcendent bliss.

This place is amazing, I spent my birthday in this place and I really enjoy everything. Service: From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, the manager Paulo welcomed me very kindly and friendly. He was attentive to helping us choose the best wine for the occasion, he is quite professional. Also the server, she was very kind and polite with us, she was always around to see if we needed anything. Food: It is tasteful and the portions are adequate, I really enjoy the presentation of the plates and the flavour of everything. I had the best birthday in Tapagria.
