I don't usually post reviews but when the customer service is this bad I feel its my responsibility to warn others. I brought in 2 watches to get a battery replacement and the lady was helping another customer. I stood there for 5 minutes and not once did she smile or say she would be right with me after she was done. I would've waited had she said something but to be just ignored like that I'd rather give my business to a place that deserves it.

Absolutely the worst customer experience! Like the previous person, if I could give zero stars I would. I went in to get a quote to restring my pearls, the price kept changing so the lady said she would call me with a firm quote the next day. A week later I had not heard from them so I called, and called, and called - she finally picked up and yelled at me that she was busy and I was calling too much. I explained I was supposed to have a quote the following day and she told me she was very busy and to call back in 15 minutes. When I called back she wouldn't pick up. No answering machine to leave a message. Picking up the pearls tomorrow and will find a reputable company.

Amazing quick service! Fixed my watch super fast and charged us a fair price! We asked 5 other places and they were ripping us off! Will for sure to come back to support Rob's business again!

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I got to this booth around 1:45pm where the person behind the counter said he was busy and I was to come back in 15 minutes. I obliged and went to The Bay to buy a couple quick gift cards. I came back at 2pm and the person behind the counter was putting up a sign and walking off. As I approached he began walking off really fast. I asked him why he was leaving and he said he had to go and pick something up. I asked him why he told me to come back in 15 minuted then. Completely unprovoked, he snapped and started telling me he was very busy and didn't care to do what I asked him. I said that's fine, but why didn't he tell me that from the start? He then said he had to go to the bathroom. As he continued walking, I told him I would be leaving a bad review. I understand sometimes you need a break, but his unprofessional behaviour and his blatant lies in the interest of thwarting a customer was disgusting. This will surely reflect the level of work that this small company performs. I will do everything in my power to keep anyone from even beginning to experience the issues with this organization.

Very professional, was able to do the repair in a timely fashion, and also provide me with an excellent neck-less for my daughter. Really appreciate you opening early for me and taking the time to service my needs.

Came here to get my seiko watch band resized. When I got it back, there were deep scratches on it (i get that minor scratches are inevitable but some scratches were DEEP and it was obvious that the job was rushed). One of the links was very scratched up and pointy that it cut my skin. Came back and nicely asked if he can switch that link and the guy said ''it was too much work'' and he'll just smooth it out. When he did, obviously the spot was no longer the same colour as the watch was a gold plated stainless steel. Before he gave me the watch back he had the audacity to claim that it might be replica because it was different than the ones they sold (assuming to cover up the faulty service). I told him I had the receipt for the watch and how much I paid for it and he then said "oh it may be real then". Very unprofessional. Never coming back.

Originally went to resize (links taken out) my gold/diamond watch. Quick accurate service with the best price I found in Durham. I then went to have 3 gold chains fixed and a gold bracelet resized. Again the customer service was amazing, price was amazing (best I received) and they once again did an amazing job.

Just got back. Very pleasant experience. I was impressed. Rob fixed my Citizen watch and gave me some very good advice about my Seik divers watches. No question he is the real deal. I looked at the negative reviews on this site and find them utterly implausible. This is an honest guy who actually knows what he is doing, offers a fair price, and who will tell you the truth. it doesn't get better than that. I will be going back with my other watches.

Yesterday I needed 2 watch batteries replaced. I have recently moved to west Toronto and arent close to Dia Amour and the service Ive depended on for years. I tried 3 jewellers in a Mississauga mall and they couldnt even open a basic watch back. I was heading east today, so I visited Rob and it took all of 3 minutes to replace 2 watch batteries. Im a fan of watches and horology and if taking care of your watch/timepiece is important, including having a battery properly installed, see Rob at Dia Amour Jewellers. Rob isnt just a battery installer, hes a watch technician...BIG difference!

I go there to have all my watches fixed, batteries replaced, and straps sized. They are really good, friendly, and their prices are good.

I dont mean any hate but I realllly cannot stress enough that you should NOT bring your watches here for any kind of battery changes, link removals, etc. I brought a $25 watch to them to get the battery changed years ago only for the watch to come back with the chapter ring completely misaligned almost to a 180 degree rotation. Countless horror stories from friends and others I've met in the mall when talking about watches of their 800-1000 dollar bulova watches having the batteries replaced only for them to not be pressure tested nor the customer be informed that a pressure test is necessary. Now mistakes happen but for this to be a consistent thing (4 instances in the past year) in regards to something that is extremely basic watch knowledge when dealing with any kind of water resistance nevermind 10-20 bar. In addition to this just assuming it was a case of bad luck or my friends mishandeling of the watches I took my $130 invicta watch to them for link removal and ever since then, 6 or so months later i still have to push in one of the push pins because the woman accidentally jammed the pin in upside down which means it is now jammed in there slipping out sometimes which creates discomfort and chance for damage of an integral part that is not easy to replace for a consumer. In regards to the somewhat hit or miss customer service some have brought up I will say the tall man is very pleasant to speak to and the woman can be very helpful as well. That being said man it really is not a good idea to take your watches here. I'm a little wary at the fact that they claim to be a Seiko A.D. yet unlike any other seiko A.D. I've come across they seem to only sell digital clocks as their waiting for their shipments?... fishy....most seiko A.D.s display atleast a watch or something.....its been over 10 months if not longer....

Had a real gold chain and bracelet repaired in under 20 minutes, while other jewellers told me a week. Excellent service and price.

I was very disappointed with the level of service and lack of professionalism. They sent my watch out without telling me they stated the watch would be ready the next day it took three weeks and I had to go to the store to find out it was ready. Personally I felt and was treated like it was an inconvenience to them to do something I was paying them for. Would never go there again, and do not recommend them to anyone.

Got here at 8:10 pm to get a watch battery replaced..Checked hours before I came, like pretty much any other store in this mall it was supposed to close at 8:30pm..even though the mall closes at 9pm. I get here and the lady behind the counter is telling me that she's closing.. I politely states that it's only 8:10 p.m. and she rudely says "it doesn't matter I can close whenever I want". Terrible service what's the point of operating in a mall if you're going to close earlier than regular stated hours? Just rudely turning customers away and losing business + reputation. 👍 Also, this isn't the first time this lady has been rude. They've permanently lost my business and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

My watch stopped working 3 months after battery change. I went to Dia Amore and the showed the lady there my watch and she rudely says that now due to Covid, there is no warranty. What is the connection between Covid and warranty? They are a bunch of dishonest people without any integrity. Please stay away.

Amazing customer service. Brought 3 of my watches here for battery and band replacement and it was done fast and efficiently. They also have great market prices for jewellery and gift ideas! Definitely will do business here again!

Excellent customer service and quality. I'm impressed by how fast and efficient Rob works. The staff is not only knowledgeable, but want the best for you. I stopped by oneday and realized how many customers are regulars and that takes time and trust to grow. I recommend Dia Amore Jewellers to anyone who is looking for good quality craftsmanship, work, service, ethical service, and of course, reasonable prices! For anyone who seemed to complain alot, if you practice some patience and manner, knowing this is a small business running on a small staff, perhaps you'll get the service you deserve.

I went in before Christmas and this women was trying to sell me two rings for me and my boyfriend at the value of 200 dollars, very beautiful rings so I bought one for my boyfriend at 90 dollars she did have good customer service although reading from the reviews I guess I went at a non busy time. Tell me why this ring which is suppose to be at least real silver she told me starts to oxidize and the whatever design was in the middle sparkling started to chip and the ring it’s self started to change colour on my boyfriends finger two days of wearing it he took it off for work to and while he showered cause he didn’t even want to chance it so this is legit happening from him just wearing it for a couple hours for TWO DAYS!! Mind you she told me she sold these things as engagement rings to some one previous hyping them up like they are the real deal saying the kiosk downstairs is show jewelry and not good quality tell me why I bought my mom a ring from there at 40 dollars and it has yet to do this to her finger or the ring has changed quality as she wears it all saying doing whatever task she needs!! So tell me why my boyfriend who was taking extreme measures to make sure the ring didn’t get ruined; got ruined a 90 dollar ring seemed like a 22 dollar ring with some platted silver and gold and my moms ring which was 40 is still good on her finger.. Terrible quality and very disappointed I feel like I got tricked; not to mention every time I tried calling since the 24 i have gotten no response.

For the past 8 years or so I have been getting my watch batteries replaced by Rob at the Pickering location. I find him knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. Their price is very reasonable, the wait has never been more than 5 minutes, and I have never had a problem with the work done. Before replacing batteries in my expensive watches he informed me that they could not guarantee the integrity of the seal afterwards, and if that was a concern I should take them to an authorized dealer. I don't swim or dive, so it wasn't a concern for me, and the price of the replacement was much less than what I'd pay at an authorized dealer. So I'm a satisfied customer.

My family and I have been coming to this location for many years even though we live about 50km away, but it is definitely worth the travel as the owners always go above and beyond to take care of all of our jewelry needs. Any time I need a battery change for a watch, this is the place to go - prompt and reliable service. I usually shop around for 5-10 minutes while I wait! They offer a variety of high-quality gold and silver pieces that are both unique and fairly priced. I can always find the perfect gift here (they have something for everyone!). The employees do a very good job of making you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer and you can see that they go out of their way to come up with solutions or to find you that perfect piece of jewelry. A very dependable, must-visit small business!!!

Very quick and easy transaction, very very nice looking silver pendants and extremely quick repair services. Got a new lobster clasp and jump ring with very clean soldering job done in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately can't remember the guys name but he's always super nice and helpful!

Great service, just pick up a Lorus watch. They polished, adjusted the links and even set the date and time for me. Always had great service with Dia Amore. Years ago I bought my wife's wedding ring 💍💎 and my gold band from them. 👍👍👍
