this new casino started on July 26 and this is my 3 time i went there. this is Bigger than Niagara Falls Casino I love everything in this place. Very nice employees. before you go in you must be line up and take pictures and sometimes need an id and phone number the rest are good. only one restaurant is open until 10 p.m. And the slots are good multi-table open cashiers always the long line more than 45 minutes has to be in line. please take driver license with you if you have more than $5000 win, you have to show driver license. last night the lady won $5,000 and she wasn't driving and she didn't have the driver license.cashier kept her money. they not accepting health card to prove it. either change small amount of your money or show your id.

Well, I am very impressed. It is nice to see such an establishment in Pickering. When this facility is complete, it will be world class. It is absolutely huge. Staff were very friendly (parking, customer service, beverage cart, restaurant). Machines are limited due to Covid-19 distancing guidelines, but there are still plenty available. The Buffet restaurant only has a la carte, again due to government restrictions, but hubby and I shared a veggie pizza and two orders of fries (one would have been enough). Shanna was our server and, even though it was close to closing, she was lively, friendly, and very cheerful. I can't wait to see what things are like when the other restaurants open up. I'll be going back, even though I didn't even win.

I went on a weekday afternoon and these are the table games available and the lowest mins I saw: - baccarat - min $25 - black jack - min $25 - craps - (wasn't staffed when I went. It's only available during certain hours, see my photos) - roulette - min $100 (unless you use the surrounding machines, then min $10) This is a new casino with a lot of new staff. This can be problematic because they don't have a good idea of how many table games need to be open yet to meet the number of attendees and the dealers also are very inexperienced and can make mistakes favoring either the casino or you. Overall, this casino isn't worth visiting now unless you're close by. Fallsview imo is still the best casino in Ontario. Hopefully in a few years, this casino will be better.

The casino is new and nice. A LOTS of games mostly slot machines. Big no no poker room. Haven't try the restaurant yet.. especially the buffet during weekends. Lots of Parking is actually 3 levels. Free Fountain Pop machines and coffee. Still under construction. Can't wait to see after construction is over. Everytime I visit I play little and win 3x. Odds are BAD.

The casino itself is brand new which deserves the 1 star. Other than that, this casino is relying solely on it's proximity to Scarborough, Markham, and Oshawa to generate business. They certainly aren't relying on their restaurants, machine payback or comping system to attract gamblers. No hotel, no shows and no winning of any kind. The machines are VERY tight. I expect to lose money when gambling at a casino, but it's my hope to get at least SOME time on the machines with the money I bring. NOPE. The machines here pay back nothing. In the half dozen times I've been here my money has never lasted longer than 30 minutes and I've NEVER seen a single person waiting for a hand-pay jackpot. EVER. Their Chinese restaurant Sun Sui Wah has your typical Cantonese cuisine, but priced at least 3 times higher than any restaurant in Scarborough or Markham. As well, any food comps a gambler might earn are only worth HALF as much here. We tried their Jackpot Buffet since their grand opening was this weekend. You can use your comp dollars at full value for this place, BUT if you do, you CAN'T apply your players card discount as well! So having a Gold card ($10 off) or a Silver card ($5 off) is meaningless. That said, they are charging $45 + tax for this pitiful buffet. I have been to almost every casino buffet in Ontario and more than 30 different buffets across Las Vegas and Atlantic City. This one ranks among the worst for the price they charge. The greens at the salad bar were wilted and inedible. They claimed it was a "fresh seafood" buffet, but their seafood selections included 3 types of tasteless fish, boiled and tasteless clams and mussels and 2-3 dried out shrimps placed on the edge of a cup passing as "shrimp cocktail" Their dessert section did have quite a bit of variety, but it's likely outsourced. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and the place was almost empty. I can see why. For $45 you could go to the Mandarin Buffet or one of many all you can eat Japanese buffets and have money left over. Save your money and your stomach. Eating here after losing all your money will only anger/sadden/depress you more.

Not a bad place if you strictly want to gamble as there’s not much else going on to entertain yourself with unfortunately. Very few bars and or restaurants from what I saw at least. Lots of slot machines that are all pretty new and up to date but the pay ratio out ain’t looking to good overall because I never saw many people hitting anything special throughout the day. There are some tables as well so there is some variety but I don’t see myself returning here too often as there’s not much excitement or things to do so you can enjoy your entire day at least.

First time going to this Casino. Was very impressed with the variety of new slots, BUT not one them paid out. I must have played on over 50 slots, trying to find one that was a bit generous so I could play and enjoy myself. I realize I have to put in money, but boy the machines were not giving anything, one had to continuously put in funds. I spent too much, so cannot see myself going back.

This is a beautiful, well designed Casino but the table minimums are just too high. I went on a Monday night and they had 5-6 roulette live tables each with a $50 minimum bet. As a result, only 1 roulette table was busy and everyone was forced to play screen/stadium roulette ($2 minimum). They should have varied minimums ($10, $25, etc.) on live tables. Other than the high minimums, there was a lot to love about this place: Great free indoor parking, a spacious sportsbook room, friendly staff, a variety of restaurants on the perimeter and TONS(!) of LED slot machines. It's still new so hopefully they take the feedback and lower their minimums so it's a better experience for their customers.

This casino is new and the air was very fresh inside. I walked around and found most of the table limits were in the high side ($50 and above). My friend and I was looking for their buffet and sadly this casino wasn't busy enough to run their buffet. Therefore we went to the Ca-su-al restaurant. The first thing caught my eyes was a clean with simple renovations and the wooden looking carpets at this restaurant which I loved the most. We started off with a fried chicken wings as starter (8pcs) and they have only one flavour which was cooked extremely dry and topped with green onions (they don't have honey garlic, buffalo, or any other popular flavors to choose from). I ordered a AAA sirloin and my friend ordered a full rack of ribs. The sirloin was a tough despite it was cooked in medium-rare. Mine was a $34 main course and it tasted like a cheap steak. The ribs was $33 but tasted like it was cooked and stored under the heat lamp for a very long time. The ribs were dry also and I think Costco minimum wage worker cooks better ribs than the chef at this restaurant. The only positive I have for this restaurant was the male Caucasian server which he was constantly checking on us and bring us drink refills and napkins. This Ca-su-al restaurant at Pickering Casino was my first and also my last time to visit. The presentation was great, scored 7/10 but the overall taste + food quality was only 2/10. Not to mention, you will need to have your own transportation in order to get to this casino. It will be very difficult to take public transportation for this casino due to the surrounding areas don't have proper sidewalks and it is very dark at night with muddy roads.

Now this is a pretty glorious atmosphere. I just visited for my first time and was hooked on several things. Firstly, having a more accessible casino that offers more than slots is a great boon for the area. It is beautiful esthetically, plenty of things to do. There is a food court with Starbucks in the front as well as a sensational buffet, although the buffet is a rather steep price. Still, it was worth it (especially if you win prior to eating). The guest services are friendly, as is the staff in the buffet. All around a great time. Will probably be even better once things open up around it.

This Casino is finally open after a long wait. Casio is big and lots of new machines. Parking is free so no need to worry about parking. Be prepared to show your proof of vaccination. And also need to fill out a form through a bar code scanner. Have your smartphone handy. I went there around 10 P.M on a Saturday night(before Halloween). It wasnt that crowded or big line ups for a Saturday night. Only downside is minimum betting is bit higher for some games. It will be nice if they can decrease the minimum bet for some games to draw more people. There are 3 different restaurants inside casino. Prices are okay ( Refer to attached images). Coffee and Pops are free on the floor. The restaurant food was amazing Specially their fish and Chips. Waitresses and Cooks were amazing. Very clean open kitchens. Overall it was a great experience, Finally a casino close to our home.

Damn I am so impressed with the Casino. It’s huge and has 2500 slots to play. Covid compliant with sanitizer around. You are provided with refreshments like coffee or stuff while you are playing. They have ATM inside for you to withdraw and also multiple locations to cash out. Carry your valid ID card. The cafeteria and washroom are great. Huge establishment with 250 hotel room accommodation still under work. I will be dammed when it will be operational full swing. Ample of parking space as of now. Staff is cordial and helps you around on the floor. A must visit 😎place in Pickering.

Had a great time here last week. Lots of games to choose from and a well kept place. I think it will only get better as they complete the hotel and other venues. Also enjoyed the buffet while we were there. Fantastic food and options for a buffet, really well done. Although the aesthetics could use some work. It seems like a cafeteria with no feel to it. Not a huge deal but it was noticed. One concern I do have is that after a certain time, there is literally zero food options. Once the restaurants and the Starbucks close, that's it... You can get a drink but no food at all. Like not even a vending machine to get a candy bar out of. This makes no sense to me at all. You're open 24hrs! Have a snack bar at the least, a bag of chips, or snack of something. Confusing, considering you want people to stay and gamble.

Great new casino just outside of Toronto. Spacious, clean and modern designs. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Self served complimentary soft drinks and coffee in the gaming room. We went to the buffet, great selection of quality food choices and very friendly waitstaff. Free parking in the garage. But no direction of entrance and exit, a bit confusing. Overall great experience! Can't wait till all the construction is completed. Will definitely come back!

Stayed the night with my kids and husband. I would likely change my rating to 5 star once the pool is completed and we can use it. The rooms were great and our kids loved it. Would have been amazing if I could have taken them to the pool while my husband and other family members played at the casino. We will definitely be back though, it was still a very pleasant stay.

Nice, clean atmosphere. No lower limit table games (50 minimum), but might be better when they fully open and have all their table games available. Right now it's pretty much only Blackjack for live table games. The rest are slots and digital.

Actually I went to casino to just play chil with my friend and our family. But casino resort is looking pretty. We were in only casino arena. It’s too crowded. Because of new year rush etc. we’re played. But lot of gaming machines were not working. Most game machines were locked . Some what cheated setting. Be careful with handling your cache. Parking area very well. Entrance , Lounge area is nice.

Nice venue for a show but the parking garage is an absolute nightmare. Sitting completely still one hour after an event let out and nobody is moving. It HAS to work better than this. Hire more cops to direct traffic out. Get it sorted because I don’t ever want to attend another event here again because of the ridiculous parking situation.

Pros: - Clean and well maintained. - Spacious and they provided free drinks [soda, coffee, tea]. - Those people at the front desk were nice and helpful too. - Easy to get a parking spot during the week, but it could be difficult to find one in the weekend. Cons: - Food court seems to be deserted. Probably due to their high prices. Even their buffet restaurant was permanently closed due to the lack of customers. I didn't come here to gamble and simply to appease my curiosity, so I can't say much about their machines and stuffs.

Stayed at the casino hotel for one night while in transit to visit family nearby. From what I gather the hotel is fairly new, and it shows in the facilities and room. Stayed in the standard king room, was very spacious and things felt clean. Room was nice, service at the check-in counter was great and expeditious, location was perfect for our purposes. Hotel appears to have a pool and it's toddler-friendly (kids not potty trained need to wear swim diapers). Had we stayed for longer, we would've taken our son swimming, so that's something nice to have. Docked 1 star due to the limited selection of food in the food court area while we were there. Apart from Starbucks, only 1 other place appeared to be opened and thankfully it was an Asian place, Sun Express - this was around 6pm on a Tuesday. We got noodles and sushi and food was made freh. Prices were fair I suppose considering the location and current market prices ($22 for takeout noodles, is that considered average?). Can't comment on the casino/games section as we didn't go in, simply stayed at the hotel while in transit. All in all, would stay here again next time we're visiting family provided prices are still reasonable.

Beautiful hotel but mean and rude manager. I booked through a service and some details were different so I was unaware of the actual pet policy. The manager basically shamed me in the lobby and continued in a manner that made me very uncomfortable. I’m in shock as most motel managers are super customer focused and help bring forth understanding in a kind way. For a swanky place I’m not sure why that experience was necessary or why I had to be approached in that manner. Definitely couldn’t wait to leave. Hopefully the review helps for some learning for her. Other than that the hotel is beautiful.

Hotel has nice carpeting, comfortable beds and new bathroom fixtures. Note: Bring your own lotion as this hotel will only provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There is no body lotion which you most likely need during the winter months. If you are looking for a hotel with a view, ask for one that faces the lake (south ), otherwise, your view will be Highway 401. Good food at the Chinese restaurant Sun Sui Wah but be aware that if you are paying using your comps, that they will take more so it's not $1 comp for $1 food ( ratio is more like $1.5 comp for $1.00 food but ask/check it out to make sure). I like the hotel staff; the front desk officers are nice.

Large casino with tons of slots and a reasonable amount of table games. "Sports book" area is small. Hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable and a decent size. But pool has yet to open and room service stops at 10pm!!! You also can't walk through the lobby with any alcohol from the casino floor. So if you want to have a drink in your hotel room after 10pm you are out of luck. I called the front desk and was told that I should have brought my own alcohol..... unbelievable, am I camping?

Went for a quick first visit and was shocked at how much max bet costs on a penny machine. $4.00. Last time, I visited a slot machine playing for a penny max bet cost, $1.50, and it was too high to win $25.00 to get 5 quick hits Still $25 win at $4.00 It's a little too rich for my liking, but still, I walked around the place. Didn't eat here. Did notice they offered tables. Free pop or coffee, water's a charge.

This is a challenging review. Pros first: the hotel is new and nice, and the few staff were super helpful. Rooms are good (but then, they are also brand new). Cons: Any amenities it has are an afterthought. There is nothing to do if you aren't actually gambling. The hotel is just tacked onto the casino without any lounge or bar of it's own. It perhaps is a touch noisier than it could be, given that it was mostly empty. Food is pricey. The buffet was "closed down for retooling" which was the only reason for going. The casino clientele are 99% Chinese and not a good social segment of that culture.

We went on June 4-5 for my Moms 85th birthday! The staff had a surprise of cupcakes and strawberries for us upon our arrival..they were delicious! The room was very nice. My only complaint was that there was not a coffee maker in the room.

Brand new casino and resort opened in late 2021. Everything looks and feels good. The staff is very friendly and help you with whatever needs you have. The casino floor is very modern and enticing. Lots of places to eat and drink as well. Parking is also not an issue as there are plenty of them. Overall, the place has a great vibe to it!

By far my fav Casino in Ontario. The space is huge with a great selection of games, from tables to slots, and everything in between. It is bright, open, and vibrant with a ton of food options as well. It is a newer casino and still has some growing pains (the dealers and pit staff still have some learning to do). A great afternoon, evening, over night ... gamble responsibly,

It's going to be beautiful when it's completed. It just looks a bit raggy looking from the outside the insides not too bad lots of slot machines. I think I saw three restaurants open not sure how the food was but I know if you go on a weekend it's at least $45 a plate but I can't compliment on that until I've tried it lots of open space not sure what it's going to be yet lots of boxes everywhere just looks like they've moved in didn't see much winning the day that I went but again the place is huge I will definitely give it another shot I will take my wife this time.

We did not stay at the Casino but we were there Christmas Day for a traditional Christmas Dinner. The service from the wait staff was fantastic especially considering they were working a holiday. We went to Casual and ordered the turkey dinner. It was fabulous, you could have dark or white meat, stuffing, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, carrots and green beans. The plate was brimming with food and everything was excellent. Dessert was also included but to be honest we were so full we couldn't find room for it. Once dinner was over we left and went to a casino closer to home to play the slots. We've never had ANY luck at the Pickering Casino and our money seems to disappear quickly but I highly recommend their Christmas Dinner!!!

Stayed 1 night for a work function, I had no issues with finding the hotel or navigating the parking lots. I loved the covered parking area and the walk to the hotel was only about 5 minutes from where I parked. Found the reception area and booked in with the friendly staff, they answered all of my questions. Directions to the elevator and my room were bang on. I loved that the elevator won't take you to your floor without a key card. The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was very spacious, bright and very clean. Slept great in the comfy king bed the room was very dark and so quite. All in all a great place to stay I highly recommend it and i would definately stay again.

This hotel seemed like it was not thought out , it’s as if they made it too big then ran out of money trying to fill it. The shower heads are terrible and your room doesn’t get serviced if staying for more than one night. You can also hear everything around you , I had a lovely neighbour coughing up a lung and in the mornings could hear kids running around the hall. I heard people’s conversation so clearly I actually got up to make sure the door was shut (it was, it’s just very thin) . Oh and make sure to close the door because it doesn’t automatically close, you have to tug or push on it to close it completely.

My first time visiting the Pickering Casino Resort and I have only one note: Decorate! It's missing the larger than life spectacle of a casino. There's no large scale sculpture, no fountain, not even big plant-scaping. Everything else was great. I just missed the usual splendor of a casino. Hated seeing the staff decorate some mediocre trees in the lobby. Hire a professional decorator for goodness sake!

I came one day with friends to eat at the buffet and play some games after. But once we arrived, we found out the buffet is permanently closed, according to the staff member at the gate. We were all very sad and left. No information regarding the buffet being permanently closed was found online. I’m not sure why the buffet closed down. I’ve been there twice and I absolutely loved it, it has literally become one of my top favourite places to eat. I was planning on coming again and even thinking about celebrating my birthday there. I really wish they would reopen or make some similar alternative. Now I have less of a reason to go to this casino. :(

A little off the main road but the hotel and its lights can be seen. No lights and lane markings on the access road. Lots of parking. The casino offers a choice of food and coffee, tea and pop are accessible and self-serve.

Kind of out of the way and the parking garage has poor signage. The casino was fun but we didn't win anything! We ate at the Casual restaurant the service and the food were both good. We stayed at the hotel and both the amenities as well as the room were great.

Bright atmosphere.Clean washrooms. Friendly floor staff. Casino entrance staff seem to talk to each other rather than greeting customers.Self service beverage stations need to be fully stocked more often. I find the beverage stations are out of coffee and milk on weekend mornings. Cigarette butts are always on the parking garage floor near entry door to elevators.Great variety of slot machines.

Came for the Jann Arden concert tonight! Amazing show, and the staff were so helpful and professional. The pond outside though is in full algal bloom. It is out of oxygen and the plants are all rotting. Installing a water feature fountain will help to solve this problem, and control the massive mosquito population. Free consult for you ;)

Checked in with ease and great service. Room was nice, the view leaves something to be desired but it's where it is, so expected. Secure feeling with rooms and needing keys to go up in the elevator. Nice sized rooms, depending on expectations. Good variety of restaurants, tho a bit pricey. Glad some stay open 24 hours. Gaming floor is very large, great variety of games. Self serve refreshment stations are nice and at least 3 that I can recall offhand. We tried out room service and service was fast and very friendly. We would return for sure and had a positive experience. Ty

Pros: Hotel is big spacious and clean. Rooms were big and clean as well. Smells new. Casino has a good amount of table games and electronic games A good variety of dining options. Hotel front desk staff was very nice. Cons: Paid $340 for a standard room. There is no parking for the hotel you have to park far away and bring your stuff. It’s very confusing to even find the hotel entrance. I can’t imagine having to do that In bad weather. No valet option either. No bellman if we needed anything for our room like a cup or towels we had to come down to the front desk and ask for it. No help with luggage to go up to your room or check out. No room service. This is branded as a luxury hotel but it doesn’t function as one. The location had nothing around or so I’m not sure why room rates are as high as they are. You pay less to stay in casino Niagara. For the casino the table minimums are high $50 or $100. We could barely get a drink we went into a restaurant and waited 30 minutes at the bar of a restaurant to be served a drink and the staff was pretty rude when we asked if we could order after waiting 15 minutes. It wasn’t busy just maybe understaffed. Bartender seemed to be doing her best and the manager was watching her go up in flames.

Nice big casino, has all facilities. Lots of slots and good number of live tables. Didn't see the baccarat table I guess ( not that fan of it, but it took my attention). Clean and spacious place, good ac. At least dealers were smiling. Coffee and beverage spots were clean and kept clean all the time however people used it.

This was honestly my first time going to Pickering Casino since it opened and it was such an amazing atmosphere. More than enough options for whatever gambling your heart desires. I’m more of a sporadic gambler, in no way a regular. What I liked was that there were people coming around helping in whatever way they can. Great layout to find the restaurants, cashiers, washrooms etc. Have not had the experience with the hotel side of the casino, but if it is a percentage of what a saw, it definitely is a vibe for a group road trip if you’re coming from far.

Beautiful Casino!!!!!! .. Not sure why people are saying in the reviews it's dirty and bad service?? Absolutely No issue here... Very clean and spacious casino. Had lots of fun won 2 jackpots. Slots were paying out very decent. Will definitely come back. Staff was very friendly and courteous as well.

Newer casino and not all facilities completed yet but was a nice atmosphere and high ceilings which I liked. Everything is pretty much brand new so that is nice. It was busy when we went so parking was a bit of an adventure but it is a covered structure so that helped in not getting soaked in the rain. The onsite restaurants were good as well, we tried the buffet which was really good with a wide selection and some higher end items. Would recommend.

This new casino is huge. Lots of slot machines and gaming tables. Love the layout with lots of room between machines. No crowding here. Some newer slot machines I have never seen before. The payouts were good. Came back a winner.

I was so excited to finally go out and play the slot machines after all this time in lock down . I realize that most of the time casinos are there to make their money . The ATM machines are almost $5.00 for withdrawal fees . The machines don’t pay at all. Constantly putting money in hoping you get a bonus and when you finally do it’s a couple of cents and this is with max play . Won’t be going back . They want to recoup the money lost during lockdown . Don’t waste your money here . Usually when a casino opens they give a bit back to get you hooked . This one gives nothing and I’m sure it will only get worse .

My wife and I were at Casual for dinner and drinks. We sat at the bar and wanted to share a great experience we had not only with the bartender Nicole, but the amazing craft beer selection that is available. We also wanted to give our "high five" to the chef who created the Vegetarian Nachos! Outstanding! The deco seemed to be lacking. Great amount of televisions to view games. We were able to enjoy the start of the Raptor game. Plastic straws should be banned, period. I would suggest that asking the patron if they wanted a straw could be an option. Paper straws should be the way to go if you are going to offer straws. We liked the idea the beer we were drinking actually had the brewer's name on the glass. Classy! We order salsa and sour cream on the side. The sour cream came in a glass container, but the salsa came in a smaller PLASTIC container. Another bad environmental choice! Went back for a second visit and Nicole told me administration will address my environmental concerns. Second round was just as good as the first! Thanks Nicole!

Sometimes you win Sometimes you don't, I didn't. Casino is clean and all protocols are in place, felt safe. All staff are pleasant and helpful. Parking garage can be a nerve breaker.

Being to Casino a great number of times, was impressed at first. I will give you my pros 1) Dining was good good selection of items and good service. 2) Lots of machines to chose for consisting the circumstances of the present situation Cons are as following lousy service on drinks to the clients on the floor, personnel are too heavy handier on the mask prodigal having been told a number of times to put up mask over nose area, parking is adequate usually short line ups to get in, I would advise people to not bet much as I think all these Casinos not just Pickering have cut down the % to try to recover their losses over the last Pandemic Period . I have been to all the Casinos(mostly) over the last month and it's seems that very few jackpots have been won. You may be better off staying away until these Casinos are fully open. Which is ?.

😠 I'm discussed to hear you declined access to a Senior lady because she wouldnt wear a mask....but her circumstances are totally different. She could suffocate by blocking her sirwsy ! If she is social distanced there should not be a problem.

😠 Terrible place. At first they give cards for $10 and the system doesn't work because of slow internet. When I went outside with a friend to smoke and coming back the security couldn't calculate my age even after holding my passport for half an hour, they couldn't figure out if i am under age or not....
