Visited this restaurant today and was pleasantly surprised! Cute little gem on Liverpool, nice music good vibes. Was pleasantly surprised by my meal. I ordered the vegan dinner which consisted of a rice and vegetable dish, wish plantain, corn bread and a salad of mango. All good was fresh and delicious. It was one of the best vegan meals I've had in a restaurant. Other members of my group ordered curry goat and jerk chicken - everyone says 5/5! We will be returning for sure. Note - the online menu is slightly different from actual menu, and hours posted online are not accurate. However, I called ahead to make sure and staff was happy to share that information . Reservations were not required, no wait time either.

Incredible. The food was incredible, the chef was amazing. Everyone was friendly. The food was incredible! Our favourite dishes: Calamari All the shrimp apps Ox tail meal Jerk chicken Samosas (especially oxtail) Steamed jerk fish Bisque The salad that comes with the meals!!! Everything was mouth watering Careful with the hot sauce with the spicy shrimp, not for everyone. Strong flavors, perfect levels of spice, perfectly cooked calamari. We cannot fault any of the food! We even devoured our side salad (that comes with mangoes and a tamarind sauce i think, so good). Very hip, very jamaican vibe. Will go back soon :)

We were a group 6 so we had a variety of dishes. Each was great. Jerk chicken samosa was fab! Jerked chicken with rice and beans, plantain, and festival was spectacular. Pasta w Shrimp was terrific. No one was disappointed. Loved that they had Jamaican lager and stout. Fun atmosphere and our server was lovely. Wish we had found it earlier so we could have gone again. Well, nest time we are in town.

The food was soo good! I got the vegan bowl and I added rice which was perfect. My partner got the oxtail dinner and he loved it. He couldn’t wait for the picture to be taken. They were very generous with the meat too such a good serving. Our sever Carly was amazing !! She was so kind . Will be going back for sure . We also got the veggie samosas which were good!

Went for my birthday two weeks ago. The service was excellen, and so was the food. Had the salmon was very delicious and tasty. Great chef

Food was delicious!!! Everything was very flavorful. The service was good and the prices are extremely reasonable. The one downfall was there was quite a few items that they did not have at the time but we were happy with our choices. Looking forward to going back again!

OMG.... To all the foodies out there, with utmost Love and Respect to best customer service "sara" above and beyond making us feel welcome and extremely accommodating. Her friendliness, kindness and smile was infectious. SOREL with Rum a must have. Kudos to the chef for sharing the intensity of flavors. From the smokey flavored breadfruit, the fresh crispy mango salad and the stewed juicy brown fish , jerk shrimp.... again OMG my taste buds couldn't get enough of these heavenly clean intense flavors. A Jamaican gem out of nowhere. Traveled one and half hour, but worth every kilometers.

My experience was epic.! 1. Food sizes were good. Great portions. TRUST me, you will never have to search for filling. Yummmm. 2. Samosas (all) were great. 3. Wings good. 4. Other food, yes sir! I tried jerk chicken and the salmon meals. 5. Yumcious drinks. I had the rum punch. 6. The service was truly truly epic! Woot woot. 7. I didn't have dessert because i was full... but the dessert menu looked so good. 8. They asked for our feedback on the food. 9. Again. Such great service. I'll definitely come again. Two things threw me: 1. The corn that comes as a side...was kernels...not on the cob... but that was just my expectations. . The mango salad - a generous portion yes!!!!! But not too much to my liking because of the dressing. Make sure you ask about dressing in advance. Yummm. See you across the table one day!!

This is a very nice Caribbean restaurant with excellent food that is tasty and well presented. I liked the decor and relaxed atmosphere. I tried a samosa with ackee and saltfish and loved it. The jerk chicken dinner was excellent and included a very nice mango salad. The Caribe beer was as good compliment. The homemade soursop ice cream was wonderful.

I brought my aunt for her birthday and she was treated like a queen. The three of us had a wonderful time and took home containers. Mr Delicious and the team were such great hosts and big up to Yvonne our incredible waiter and the young lady that was the chef that brough out our food.

SO GOOD!!! We started with spring rolls, then jerk chicken, and goat with rice & peas. The flavour on both had me licking the plate! I also licked the sauce off the table runner. Ask Loraine! Both dishes had a little heat, to make it enjoyable, but not so much that we couldn't finish our meals. Will definitely be coming back for more!!

For a small place, this restaurant offered such an incredible experience from the service to the presentation of the food. The patio even shocked us, it was really nice out there. We had the Rasta pasta, jerk dinner (both served with a delicious house salad) & the grapenut ice cream for dessert. Everything we had tasted amazing, the grapenut ice cream is a must try, and to top it off they even offered us samples of their rum punch which was so strong and flavourful. Definitely will be going back. Thank you!

I went to this restaurant for the first time today. The food and drinks were amazing! The portions were huge! I had the curly fries and jerk shrimp. I'm excited to go back and try other food as well. I also really liked the vibe. Our server was so sweet and the chef even came out to introduce himself. This is definitely a new go-to for me!

Mr Delicious by the beach is a memorable dine-in experience! The African & Caribbean art & decor is vibrant & appealing. The jazz & Caribbean music matched with the mid lighting sets a warm mood. The freshly cooked Jamaican fusion cuisine, served with ample portions, is delicious! In house desserts & drinks are a must have. Mr Delicious himself is friendly along with servers.

Delicious food. Wonderful staff that go out of their way to make your experience the best it can be. Very tasty rum punch. We sat outside and aside from Liverpool being crazy busy on a Sunday (which was entertaining), I felt like I was on a vacation. I’ll be back to make my way through the menu 😎

Name should be changed from Mr Delicious. I was so excited to try the food with all the great reviews. Wasted my money. The Food was bland , tasteless & saggy. The ice cream was horrible & to add to the experience, the servers were not wearing mask. Very sad , I had high hopes for this restaurant. Pick up order Zero stars.

EXCELLENT FOOD and SERVICE. Very novel food pairings like ackee and saltfish samosa and jerk salmon. It is unusual to find a restaurant offering breadfruit but Mr Delicious has it. They have delicious home made ice cream in various in uncommon flavours like Guinness stout, sour sop and Bailey's cream paired with salted caramel. Boonoonoonoos!!!!

Experience was excellent. They were just getting ready to host a private event, and still accommodate me. Warm welcome, staff, service, presentation and omg the food was amazing. Diffinitely recommend this place and revisit.

I normally just have Lemon Pepper chicken wings and fries at Mr. Delicious because it’s soooooo delicious. This visit I tried the fish and chips and it was really good. The tartar sauce was delicious and one of a kind with regards to the flavour. This visit I also decided to have some dessert. I asked Glen, the owner, to choose the dessert for me….to surprise me. He brought me the Deep Fried Cheesecake. This cheesecake was beyond delicious. It was warm, creamy with a crispy outer layer…..omg so good. I have to say Mr. Delicious came thru. I truly enjoyed my meal and will definitely be going back.

Service by Briana was exceptional! Chef did his thing. From Oxtail Samosa, curly fries (Oxtail sauce with fries was yummy) Jerk chicken and Red Snapper, appetizers and entrees was fresh and delicious. Desserts were also on point.

We had a group of 15 on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere is set with absolutely amazing, helpful hostess. I’ll call them hostesses because they were incredible hosts. The FOOD!!! Incredibly authentic but slightly different (Must try their take of the samosa). I don’t suggest places that often but I see a true gem here with huge potential. A MUST TRY

Wow. I have been meaning to try this amazing place for ages and nothing prepared me for how fantastic it was! Phenomenal service, atmosphere and the FOOD! My stepson could not stop commenting that is was the BEST chicken he has ever eaten. Our waitress was so kind and even got my no veggies kid to eat some salad! Magic. Thank you so much. Will be back, often :)

Attended an event here and loved the food and service, and the great location! Glen and the rest of the staff were so easy to talk to and made sure we were finding everything okay. Took home a few slices of cakes (including the sorrel cheesecake) and some ice cream. Pictured here is the black cherry ice cream. I didn't remember to take photos of the others and they're all gone, lol. Everything tasted so delicious.

Exterior does not prepare you for the absolute dynamite gastro experience that awaits you inside. The food is plentiful, the flavours are explosive and the service is nothing short of homely...the achee and salt fish was cooked to perfection, the festivals were on point, the salad that accompanied the meal was ridiculously refreshing with blueberries, watermelon, mango and spinach...that thing could be had as a meal on its own. In a nut shell the hype is absolutely real, and you must check this place out...I know we will be making it a regular spot.

First time visit for us and we’ll definitely be back. Nice vibes & decor with on point presentation of a really tasty menu. Have to go back for the deserts because we were too stuffed with our samosas, brown stew snapper, jerk chicken, pumpkin soup…, eyes too big!

I loved my meal. The jerk chicken was full of flavor & , most importantly, not dry. Rice and sides were also delicious. Food took about 15min to be ready. Service was amazing as the women behind the counter were polite. I had a take out meal & it was everything I needed.

The vibes were on point as soon as I stepped into this restaurant. Mr Delicious is an excellent spot for Jamaican food and a good time. The servers are kind and the food is fresh and tasty. I had the jerk chicken samosas, red pepper soup, and the jerk chicken meal. Enjoyed each dish and would order them all again. The ambience and music in the restaurant makes for a great experience. Highly recommend trying this place!

This restaurant is one of best Jamaica Restaurant I have visited since I migrated from Jamaica. They hosted my birthday party Chef Glen and his team did a superb job. The food was good . That pumpkin soup, jerk chicken curry goat not to mentioned my Red Vilvet Cake The ambiance was lovely I recommend this fine dining restaurant next to the beach anytime 😋

I love it because food was DELICIOUS and fresh. Drinks were amazing and service fast and pleasant. Very nice, cute, clean patio, pleasant atmosphere, beautiful location close to the lake. Excellent, live entertainment. Nika, our server, was helpful in making menu choices. Keep up great job Mr. Delicious!

Real vibes here!! Chef Glen is a CHEF not a cook. Nice atmosphere near the lake, good music, amazing flavour and quality food. Not a typical Jamaican takeout spot at all, even if you get your food to-go you’re still fine dining

Went out for dinner with a group of friends to Mr. Delicious restaurant in Pickering. The food was delicious with the fine aroma and tastes of Jamaica. Looking forward to going back again soon when the outdoor patio is available along with karaoke on Thursdays and live music coming soon. Location has plenty of parking and close to the 401 & Whites road. Highly recommended.
