We have been going here almost weekly now. So many flavors to chose from and lots of sugar free items too. In addition to their generous portions, they also started selling frozen cheesecake slices. A kiddie scoop here is like an entire cup. Their small size is two large scoops. It's definitely our fave ice cream spot, we highly recommend it! They sell Kawartha ice cream flavors as well. Plenty of free parking and lots of chairs and tables set up to enjoy your treat outside. This is a family owned business and they are open all year long.

Really great selection of homemade, dairy-free ice cream! I like trying the wide variety of hard ice cream flavours, but my favourite is the chocolate soft serve with the chocolate drizzle on top. You can tell there’s a lot of love and thought put into each recipe, really makes it a worthwhile trip. My girlfriend and I drive 20 minutes almost daily just to get our fix…

We decided to swing by and try this place out. Ice cream was delicious, service was awesome, there was a bunch of seating. I am pretty sure this is one of the best price for value places we've had ice cream at. 2 scoops is under $5 and he made sure they were these giant scoops! I wish we lived closer, because it's one of those places you'd want to go back to.

I've been here in the past and enjoyed it, but I'm really disappointed that a business wouldn't go to the minimal effort of changing their listed operating hours on Google when making a seasonal hour change. We chose to make a second dessert stop so I could come here instead of the first chain business, and then I entirely missed out because it was closed earlier than stated.

This place has excellent pricing and enough flavours to choose from, not to mention they are not stingy with the scoop size. 👌 They have a few benches set up outside to sit down as well, so the kids or you can sit down and enjoy your sweet snack. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good ice cream shop to take the family.

I got the butter pecan ice cream but was curious about grape it was I’ve never heard of it. The lady who helped us was so kind and gave me a small scoop of grapenut for free! The portions are huge and prices are great. She stopped by our table to ask if we liked everything. Very kind!

It was short-staffed on the day that we came, but the guy was super polite and quick to get what we each wanted. Cash only at the time, but the ice cream flavours were all delicious! No complaints and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I waited an hour for them to open but when it became 11 no sign of life! I was only able to wait an extra 7 minutes till my bus came and still nothing so I decided to catch my bus instead of risking them never opening. :/ disappointment

Great small ice cream and coffee bar, lots of flavors to choose from. Kawartha Dairy and Smith Central ice cream served. The freezers are cold and the ice cream was hard(as it should be). Nice vibe, with a little bit of indoor and outdoor seating. Smith's has some of the more exotic flavors, everyone agreed they were good.

We stopped by for the first time today, and loved the place. The ice cream is delicious, good quality, portions are super big, prices very reasonable. What you see in the photos are small portions. And yes, you can combine flavours in a small portion. By the way, they also have a great variety of coffee and tea pods

I went to Ice tales for the first time today. I was sent to pick up a particular flavour of ice cream for a friend's birthday. I asked a woman, who I think was the owner for the flavour, and was apologetically told that the flavour was not available today as they were testing out new flavours. I was disappointed but totally understood the business decision. While contemplating what to do next, the owner then offered to make a milkshake with my flavour of choice and I happily accepted the unexpected and lovely offer. She went to the back room to find the ingredients, which I assume was being stored away for when the flavour was to make its return, and made my milkshake. This level of customer service is now rare. When I receive it, I show appreciation and praise to the establishment. I will definitely return to Ice Tales a few times over this coming summer and beyond! Thank you, Ice Tales, it was a wonderful first impression.

Delicious ice cream 😋 i got raspberry (no dairy) yummy. My husband got butter pecan and he enjoyed it. My toddler had cotton candy. They look and taste good. Service: very friendly

I came across this place when I was searching for dairy free ice cream for a Mom and daughter date in August. The place is fantastic. There's something for everyone and they're very careful with allergies. Already recommended them to 2 other friends. Such a great find!!
