Wonderful experience! The food was amazing, service was top notch, and the prices are very reasonable. The steak was perfectly cooked, but the sides were too small. Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. Wish the portions were bigger. Our server was Jenna and she did a great job. Will definitely return!

Gorgeous spot for lunch, can't wait until it's a little warmer out to enjoy their patio! Our server, Shauna, made the best recommendation for Bang Bang Shrimp that was such a good starter, and for entrees we ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl and Bison Burger that were amazing. Will definitely be back soon!

The service was okay, the food was also okay. I'm still not sure if I will be comming back here again or not. I have nothing bad to say at all! The pasta was okay, more on the bland side in my opinion, and I wish it were more saucey. The Honey Creole Chicken was good but I wish the portions were slightly bigger. The drinks on the other hand were awesome and tasted great! Their Jalapeno Mac&Cheese shareable was very nice and the hint of jalapeno definitely made the dish awesome and unique!

We went there as I wanted to go to a new place and it didn’t disappoint us. The ambiance is top notch, the servers there are very friendly and this cucumber drink was amazing. The grilled chicken with mashed potatoes was delicious, butter chicken bowls was okay the rice was uncooked. I guess all the other things must be good. Must try.

This place was nothing special for me. Came here with some friends. Waited over 25-30 minutes before being acknowledged. We also tried asking servers for assistance beforehand but nobody came to help us until after the long period wait. It was pretty windy and the server put down napkins on our table and they blew away as she put them down. Would have made more sense to bring the cutlery out with the napkins so it could hold them down, but I digress. I ordered the jalapeño Mac and cheese with Cajun chicken and it wasn't anything great. Could have used more salt. However my friend ordered a steak sandwich with a Ceasar salad and said it was really good. My other friend ordered chicken wings and fries and said that the fries were really good also. We ordered dessert and I got the brownie with ice cream. It was pretty nice! My friend ordered the strawberry cheese and said it wasn't great and didn't like it. Overall it was an OK experience. The long wait in the beginning wasn't worth the quality of the food we were served.

Our first time at this location and had a lovely time. Loved the ambience, food and service. We ordered calamari and bang bang shrimp for appetizers. For mains, we had the crispy chicken burger, bison burger, poutine and honey glazed chicken. Shared icecream and brownies for dessert and loved it all. The place was full but the service was quick and the servers were friendly and attentive. We all had a wonderful experience and definitely going back soon. 👍👍

We had food here before the movie at Cineplex and we ordered a tuna poke bowl, French dip, kids chicken and broccoli, and kids chicken fingers. Would definitely recommend the chicken fingers' as the chicken is very crispy and juicy. The kids chicken and broccoli bowl was very yummy according to my daughter. The meals for my wife and I were good too. Also, the 2 virgin pins colada were great. Overall, this is a great place and not expensive.

Went out for father's day dinner with the family. Just the 3 of us. Sad to say, we didn't have a great experience. Let me start by saying that the location has a nice ambience and design. Its a convenient location near the VIP cinemas. I ordered the burger (main), it wasn't bad just nothing special, A&W, five guys and Wendys is better i think, The buns are really cold. fries were also served cold :(. Wife got the tuna poke bowl. She said it's pretty good. We got the bang bang shrimp for apps it was also good. Daughter got the chicken with broccoli kids meal, it also wasn't that bad. Wife got a 10$ cocktail drink that we think doesn't contain any alcohol at all. I would know because my wife's will turn red on the littlest amount of alcohol. I got a beer. Service was bad. Our server tried her best but she was serving too many tables at once. I dont think it's fair that management assigns too many tables for 1 single server. We had to wait a few times to get service. Restaurant wasn't that full either. I think this place ain't that bad but not worth it for the price. We felt that it was too expensive. Our bill came out to 94$ plus tips for just 2 adults and a child for food that ain't special/amazing. The server to table ratio means you will be waiting a few times for service, badly. The location is convenient and had a great design though.

Went here for dinner with some friends. It was a summer evening so got to sit in the patio which was good! they had some specials going on. Food here is not very great, everything was the sweet side. Parm fries - only ting tat was amazing! and may be i will come back for more. Dragon boat lettuce wrap - average, it had sweet sauce Honey glazed cajun chicken - obviously its gonna be sweet but there was no cajun seasoning. felt like chicken was dipped in honey. teriyaki rice bowl - too sweet. Fish taco - only thing that wasn’t sweet. it was okay. bang bang shrimp - was good. Service was good. Ambience was lovely.

I had an excellent time here with my wife and son. The food was cooked perfectly all around, it came hot and fresh, and the service was excellent. As an individual who enjoys dining out as a pastime, I find it incredibly difficult to find this level of service almost anywhere on a regular basis. Thank you for doing dinner right.

Venue & Service is A+. Food is really good too. Drinks, not so much. But will definitely be returning. Fish Tacos were super yummy and fresh. Chicken, mashed potatoes and asparagus were super yummy!! Looking forward to trying other menu items:) UPDATE (JULY 2023): Returned for more! Drinks were made much better, I asked for extra sweetest and omg they delivered, so good. Fish tacos again, delicious. Everything so well done:) 100% recommend to all!

Food was delicious, drinks were a bit too icy, not enough flavour. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There were other guest behaving inappropriately making everyone uncomfortable and the staff were able to resolve the issue politely. Overall great experience.

Bang bang shrimp, Flatbread, and butter chicken was delish. Will come back again. Good location for Cars'N'Food

The server was great. The kids mac and cheese was a bit too creamy The Bang Bang Shrimp was great. The scallion and the crispy shrimp was seasoned just right The grilled Chicken Caesar was not too creamy and the chicken had a blackened finish The Spicy Thai Salad didn't have that much flavor so try to order an extra side of sauce The Tuna Poke bowl was good and filling.

Stopped in for these delicious chicken tenders, they never fail to be delicious, juicy and so fresh. First time to the Pickering location on Jan 27th and the staff were so friendly and polite. Will def be back.

Tried State and Main for the first time, LOVED IT! Was so refreshing to be in a fun atmosphere again. I don't usually order chicken fingers but they were recommended and were so good, crispy, delicious. The best part was having the GM walk over after our meal and thanking us for visiting. Restaurants have had a really tough couple of years so it was nice to see the appreciation they have for their guests. 5/5 will definitely come back.

First and last time here ….we walked in 6 ladies at the front …sat had our apps nothing special small portion …main was a disaster chicken burger and bison burger ice cold !!! and the fries only good thing was the chicken tenders they were OK manager offered to make another one couldnt wait for another 15 mins ….server was friendly

I didn't eat at there but my baby girl brought me the strawberry chamgagne cheesecake from there and it was just AMAZING!! I am not big on dessert, so I was iffy but since she spent almost $9 bucks for it I figured I would give it a go and I am glad I did. The chocolate sauce went well with it not too chocolatey and not too sweet. The strawberry sauce was was good too. I would recommend giving it a try.

The staff and servers are amazing and attentive . Ethan was a fantastic server and went out of his way to ensure a pleasant dining experience for us. Shawna makes THE best margarita and Cassandra was most kind and helpful on the phone ! Thank you!

Visited State & Main on a Friday night with my boyfriend, sister and brother-in-law. The restaurant was very clean and the service was fast. Our dishes were delicious, super flavourful, fresh and reasonably priced. I would definitely return and recommend :) As a total, we ordered the crispy chicken burger, fish and chips x2, chicken tenders, buffalo wings, spanako flatbread, Baja brussel sprouts, fries w/ dill sauce.... can root for all! However, there was one thing. We saw another table order 4 of the same drink.. so we thought wow okay it must taste good. So we ordered 1 to share at the table. This drink is what Texas Chainsaw Massacre would taste like - Whisky, Red wine and egg whites. The name 'New York Sour' is veryyyyyyyy deceiving.

Great service and excellent white Sangria. Highly recommended!

State & Main is a terrific place to eat. It is a terrific atmosphere with terrific customer service with Starbucks right next door. The macaroni and cheese with cajun chicken with either mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes on the side is a terrific combo. Other foods I like is Butter Chicken and Open-Faced Steak.

The dragon boat lettuce wraps were exceptional. Great unique flavor. The butter chicken was okay with rice that tasted like instant rice. The West Coast Chop salad was fresh but average. The service was good. The ambiance was nice. Music was enjoyable with good bass.

Have been there twice now and had a great time ! Went with my wife we tried the steak ,fish and chips for apps we tried the chicken stir fry dragon boat wraps ,and spinach and artichoke dip . Everything was great and both times had great service ! The only thing not huge on the fries but my wife liked them so just a matter of personal taste not that they are bad . And thry made a great cesar ! We both look forward to returning !

Excellent experience. Noelle was our bartender and server and was very attentive and made amazing cocktails. New drink menu has some great choices! Cucumber Colada Smash - yum! I had the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed our experience here. Will definately come again. Thank you Noelle!

Looking for a casual dining experience with a nice romantic atmosphere? State and Main is a restaurant chain with many locations across the GTA region and Ontario. I celebrated Valentine's Day here with my wife. They had a 4 course dinner for Valentine's Day for $70. The meal comes with mixed greens salad and bang bang shrimp to share. Bang bang shrimp was crispy and had a nice sirracha mayo drizzler on top. Beautifully presented on a long, thin rectangular dish. Mixed greens salad was fresh, and pine nuts and beets were a nice touch of texture. You have 2 entrées to choose from. We got the sirloin 6oz and Pistachoo crusted salmon. The dinner was served on a large plate with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Presentation is IG worthy, and the food was well seasoned. One critique for the sirloin steak it had some chewy parts. I wasn't able to chew it completely and had to spit it out. I did like the black charred crust, and the steak was cooked, perfect medium rare. Salmon was cooked perfectly as well. Would have liked a slice of lemon to squeeze on it before eating. Strawberry cheesecake was a great finish to the palette, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Overall, the dining experience was nice, and Megan checked on us regularly to see if we were enjoying the food. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for some elevated cuisine with some hints of Asian fusion. PS there are daily specials and Happy Hour every day from 3pm-5pm and after 9pm. We came for dinner and started off with some calamari. You dont get a lot when you order it. For the price they charge I was expecting more. Also wasn't as tasty as some other restaurant calamari. I cant recommend ordering this for your appetizers. For my main meal I had thwir main double stack Cheeseburger. The burger patties were thin so its like just having a normal burger when it's double stack. The burger meat seemed dry like it was old/expired it's best B4 date. Overall the burger was ok. Usually when dining out. We get awful service with good food. This time we got great service but their food could be better

A new spot in Pickering and it doesn’t disappoint. Food is good, prices are reasonable and portions are pretty good. Must try the rigatoni, it’s one of my faves! They also have happy hour so some of food and drinks are cheaper! Definitely a great new addition in Pickering!

It was our first time at this restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day lunch and it definitely won’t be the last time. We loved the service, food, ambiance, seating and the restaurant in total. We were a group of 5 adults and a toddler. My toddler is quite picky with her food but she enjoyed the Mac and cheese. We ordered apps- bang bang shrimp, calamari, main- chicken enchiladas, shrimp and truffle pasta, fish and chips, burger and for desert- strawberry champagne cheesecake and brownie. Will recommend this restaurant for sure.

This restaurant is located beside the movie theatre outside the Pickering Town Centre. Like the atmosphere, with beautiful mood lights and cozy bench seats. The menu seemed limited, but maybe that's because of COVID. The food was ok, the flavours were not strong. Give the dill dip a try!

Came with some friends on a Friday evening with reservations. The fish and chips were pretty good, a touch overcooked imo but the dill sauce they serve with it is really good. The drinks are strong here! They have daily specials as well. Great service.

I ordered doordash and got the bacon tomato soup and a chicken finger kids meal for my niece. The soup was pretty good I really liked the bread it came with. I would order it again. My niece liked the chicken fingers and fries. It came with a dip for the fries and plum sauce for the fingers. Certain parts of the chicken fingers were a little hard so she didnt eat those bits. They looked a lot better than I expected for a kids meal! :) the fries were seasoned as well.

First time at Station and Main. Watch the opening ceremonies of the MLB All - Star game! Michaela was an awesome bartender host, very attentive. Upon recommendation from the bartender, we split an order of the Baja fish tacos and the tuna poke bowl! Outstanding! Seasonal beer on tap was Tank Waterloo IPA and Hop City North of 41. Always taste better from the keg!

Food was great, hostess and servers were great. The restaurant was decently busy on a Thursday afternoon which is excellent news!! I must say though, watching the young ladies bust their humps serving and cleaning and watching their manager sit and chat to friends was a little disappointing. Not the restaurant's fault and the people I dealt with were excellent hence the good rating. The manager really stuck out like a sore thumb for me though.

The food was great. Very welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter...Josh was incredible. This is my 7th time dining at this restaurant. Really Fantastic.

Would give zero stars if I could. All around awful service during dinner. When I had made a reservation i had included a request for a dessert to be brought out as it was my parents anniversary. State and Main called me to confirm my reservation and special request and were very considerate. Upon arrival, the hostess confirmed the request again. When dinner was being served, a steak was burnt when it was supposed to be medium doneness. When we requested a new one, we received no apology and overall awkward and cold service. A different staff member brought the new dish to the table and we still received no apology or any conversation at all for that matter. The special request we made was not met either. Our time here concluded with no final words from our server Josh as he immediately walked away after payment was made.

State & Main apparently opened this location sometime last year and I didn't even notice, even though I drive past here almost every day. It was a very hot and humid day so we sat inside where it was nice and cool. Several patio diners also came in from the heat. Kudos to the servers working out there in their black outfits. They must have been hot but provided great service with a smile. The Fish Tacos were pretty good, albeit a bit messy to eat. Maybe I need to up my taco eating skills! The ingredients were very flavourful and I really enjoyed the Fries. They were nicely seasoned and perfectly crispy. My friend had the Teriyaki Rice Bowl with Chicken and seemed to enjoy it. The decor had a nice upscale ambiance, with solid furniture and large booths against the walls. Nicely done! Thanks for lunch, Tony!

Came in for happy hour in the afternoon a couple of weeks ago. The bartender (tall gentleman) was great and so was the food. Happy hour menu is such a great deal. Had the Jalapeño Mac & Cheese, Spinach Dip, and Burger with fries.. all delicious.

Had such a great experience there. The food was really good I got the the Tuna Poke bowl. It was delicious, our waitress was fantastic, she made sure we were all good. I would recommend 👌. They have really good prices too.
