Amazing taste! I always buy from here whenever I’m in the area! Their veal biryani is the best! I tried halwa puri and that’s also great.

First time here. I asked you what is your MILDEST seafood dish. You said they are all mild. So I asked you which seafood curry do you recommend? You said fish masala, so I order takeaway. I am now sitting at home with my mouth burning hot in fire 🔥. I have added yoghurt and coconut milk and it's still too spicy burning my mouth and throat. So I cannot eat it. You lost me as a potential new customer.

Worst food don't go ever there. Not fully cooked food. And very rude people and insulting. Dont dine in. Only they work on takeout cheap packages.

We went to food time for a family dinner and saw a mouse casually walking around. Its understandable that mice get into restaurants accidentally but by the look of it, it seemed like this mouse lived there. Also, the staff casually kicked him out, as if it was a normal thing.

Bought 3servings of Biryani....TASTELESS rice. It's not BIRYANI, salty rice with lots of color mixed with cooked meat right when order comes in...not a proper layered biryani. Out of 3boxes 1 was filled with white plain rice with color no masalah nothing. No tomato, garam masalah, mint, green pepper,cardamom None!! Never ever going back to them. Unfriendly staff+ for creating this masterpiece they took 20+minutes. Larosh biryani is properly layered dum biryani, they were sold out so had to try new place. Total disappointment!

We couldn't wait to start eating so had to stop to take a picture to post! Best beef nihari in Toronto if you know what real nihari tastes like! Naan was 2nd to non! Wwiill

The taste of the food is good but seems like their portion sizes have drastically decreased. Ordered a butter chicken for 8.99 plus tax ($10) and received a tiny take out container with 6 cubes of chicken - mind you, naan is an additional charge ($1.75) ??? Definitely not a competitive price given the options in the neighbourhood which have larger portions and include naan as standard. All curry containers have shrunk and are now smaller than surrounding area restaurants. Be mindful before ordering.

Wonderful place to order food from for catering or to just sit down and dine with friends and family. Customer service is always outstanding and quality of food matches as well. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone that lives in the pickering/Scarborough area this place is a must have!

Tried food times biryani for the first time in quite some time, and I found 2 broken bones right in the center of rice mountain. It seems like they don't care about the quality anymore. Their biryani is just OK. There's nothing special about it. Malasa was so mild, a lot of white rice, and potatoes were not cooked with biryani. I guess they're boiled separately and added later as a filler. Taste was just bland, to be honest. I bought the biryani from jumma prayers from Usman Masjid today, and when I opened the box at home, I found 2 bones in the box right on the top of the rice mountain. May be the meat came off of the bones when cooking or while they're being packed. Anyway. it's not a great presentation. Overall experience was not so great.

Food Time definitely has one of the best, if not, THE best Veal Quarmas in Pickering. Their Naan is also made fresh! I've been going to this location for years!

Excellent daily deals..except sunday which is kinda boring (dhal 🥱) The prices for daily deals in todays inflated society are good. Ive tried the beef korma, chicken karahai, chicken biryani, kheer and beef kebab wrap. Everythings great. The korma and karahi especially hit the spot when you are hungry. So good. I highly suggest others to try this place. Its clean as well. I suggest calling 20 to 30 mins ahead to order your food if getting takeout as it can take a little while for them to prepare it. Im glad they are back after the fire took them out for 2 years. I guess there was a flavor explosion in the kitchen cuz the food was too tasty.

After having been closed for over two years because of a fire, Food Time has now reopened! I have missed their delicious Indian and Pakistani food, very reasonable prices, and close proximity to home. The first thing I had from their newly renovated kitchen was a very tasty Chicken Karahi with Naan. It was so flavourful and delicious. I will definitely be back to reacquaint myself with their menu!

They gave 5 pieces fish the size of a toonie for $14. The robbery, even in today’s environment. The best item on the menu is Naan. 2.5 out 5 stars.

We took a medium veal biryani tray which we took a couple of times before and it used to be good. I was told it’s for 15-20 people but there was barely any meat. The size of the tray was same but it was just full of rice and most meats were with large bones. We got super embarrassed in front of our guests and we were only hosting 10 people with the 15-20 people tray. This is unfair. We paid about 94$ for it.

A $8.50 CHICKEN ROLL!!! What a rip off i just took 3 bites and there was just one small chicken piece and all salad then i opened the roll and this is what i just saw 3 to 4 SMAALLL pieces OF chicken what a jokee!!!!! We got 2 the second one is sameee DONT BUYYYY!!!!

We catered food for a party recently and I have to say the food was simply delicious! We had so many compliments and referral requests. We have only tried their Food once prior and it was a few years back even then it was so good that we thought of Food Time right away for our catering needs. It was quick to order no delays even though we live quite far. Thanks Again! Your restaurant has officially become out Favourite!

Great restaurant to dine for true authentic Pakistani food. Great atmosphere, delicious food and excellent portions. Get nostalgic feelings everytime. Dine or Take out!! Super friendly staff. Don't forget to try the Halwa Puri special on weekends!!!!!

Came for lunch. Fined in and had a feast! Ordered two meat Thali’s, we could have easily share one and had leftovers! The price of the meat Thali is $9.99 including a pop! What!!! Their chicken biryani is the best. We had lots left to take home! What a deal.

Nice small restaurant on the corner of Brock and Kingston (North West Corner) in Pickering. Friendly staff. Ordered a few Biryani boxes, and had to wait. Owner, Idrees, came and brought tea while we waited :) ... indeed a unique experience for a place that is quite busy with catering orders. This place has one of the Best inexpensive combo meals, especially the combo of four. Even us 5 big guys couldn't finish it. Had to pass it on to others lol Skip the Dishes option is great. Much more variety in combos with skip the dishes. Tuesdays and Wednesdays best deals for Biryani.

Group of 3 and didn’t know what to order. Shahzaib helped us and he impressed. The quantity was a lot and the food was great. Definitely recommend!!!

I had a great experience. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. It was packaged properly and served well for my whole family. The staff was very nice and professional as well. I strongly recommend for other to try out this restaurant.

We always buy food from food time but this time we decided to try their catering service and it was the best decision ever! The food was delicious and the quantity was perfect. The best part was that they kept my food ready at the desired time I had asked for. Everything was nice and warm and my guests absolutely enjoyed it.

Amazing value for lunch. Huge portions that taste great. Service can be slow when they are dealing with lots of take out orders though.

Have been coming here for so long and have never ONCE been disappointed. The food is always amazing and filled with such yummy flavourings. The staff is extremely helpful and nice, when it comes to making recommendations. I would HIGHLY recommend to come here with your family and friends. the problem with the reviews here is that you can't be sure if they're for the pickering or whitby location. it would be nice if they were seperate. it shows the pickering address and reviews that were posted when only the whitby location was open.

Nice place to be in -- quality and price-wise. Give a try their butter chicken with garlic naan!

Great times at food times!!! We ordered a biryani tray, chicken quarter, chicken Karachi and beef kabab. We loved the food. The biryani was just perfect and delicious. The quarter chicken was my absolute favourite. Chicken Karachi was a keeper. Loved it!! The beef kebab was okay. I’m particularly not a kabab loving person!! All in all it was a great family dinner time.
