๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Every weekend we go out with supper with family. Last week by chance we ended up at Karahi hut in Ajax. There is narrow selection but quality food but the restaurant is very hygienic and clean. I want to highlight two points. The restaurant owner passes by each table to check if the food is good.... People often mention restaurant, good, great, family, service, delicious, dishes, Pakistani, ordered, menu,

Every weekend we go out with supper with family. Last week by chance we ended up at Karahi hut in Ajax. There is narrow selection but quality food but the restaurant is very hygienic and clean. I want to highlight two points. The restaurant owner passes by each table to check if the food is good. Also he shares that if you donโ€™t like the food you donโ€™t have to pay you can just walk out. Love the confidence of the restaurant and the food is truly that great. The sunrise rises in every backyard but this place is so much brighter because of texture and flavour.

Saturday September 18th. 2021 Imagine that having our 1st.visit couple of days ago and we have decided to try their Weekend Special Halwa Pouri, Cholay and Aloo ki bhji with Achr breakfast with side order of Paya, Delicious Tilway Tandoori Naan, tea and Kashmiri chai. One of the Best and delicious breakfast with great service! You can also book your table in advance. Once again you will be very happy to visit Karahi Hut. September 16th. 2021 Our 1st. Visit to this beautiful authentic Pakistani restaurant in Pickering. We have been always in search of best Pakistani flavored dishes in GTA. Before I start my review I would like to tell very honestly I have no relationship or friendship with anyone at this restaurant. 1st. time walked in and ordered our food. Nihari, Goat Paya and Tandoori Naan. Table service was great, our order served in timely manner. Both dishes were very delicious and quantity of dishes were very generous. Food was served in decent cutlery, specially nowadays due to COVID19 most of our desi restaurant are providing their food in paper plates and plastic utensils. We are so pleased and happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone who has the passion for Pakistani food. The ambiance has lots of personal touch. Pictures says it all. Most important part of the business is how you keep your washrooms, one of the cleanest washroom in any Pakistani restaurant I have ever seen. Keep up the good work ๐Ÿ‘ Overall 100 out of 100 for sure. Highly recommended to visit ๐Ÿ‘Œ and enjoy the delicious food. Make sure you have enough patients to wait for the mouth watering food. We will definitely be there to try rest of their menu items.

Have done take out before for their breakfast and was satisfied. However, my most recent experience ordering they did not provide proper portions. We ordered two breakfasts which they combined in one container and didn't even fill up. That was disappointing.

This place was a beautiful find! It's small but well put together. Sometimes overcrowded places are annoying. Interiors and seating arrangements are great. The food is even better. Everything was proportioned well and cooked. Service was quick and friendly. Reasonably priced. We ordered nihari and halwa puri nashta on Eid. You can tell the owners put their heart into it all. We will be going back and my family should've listened to me sooner. ๐Ÿ˜€

The experience was absolutely ruined when they unapologetically charged a 15% service fee for two people without any mention of it on the menu or anything on the table or even while paying. We figured we paid $5 more on $26 food and went back to ask. Whatโ€™s this service charge, and why donโ€™t we have a choice. Restaurants give you a choice if you want to pay a tip or charge a fee if you have a large number of people on a table which is also clearly written on the menu. I wonโ€™t ever return or recommend a place that charges sneakily like that. Also Nihari was saltish..

I think I found my favourite Pakistani restaurant on the East end. Flavourful, fresh, delicious food for a reasonable price. The grill platter had great flavour and a variety of grilled meats. The naan was hot and fresh. One of the few places where the naan is still $1.50! Also the nihari was impressive and the meat was tender. Our order took 30-35 mins to prepare but it was expected as I asked at the beginning. Our dine in experience was great with 4 people. The server was quick and friendly. The restaurant decor was cute and made our experience a lot more enjoyable. This is a great place to bring the family. I will be back!

My Friend shared this jewel with me last weekend. A fantastic weekend brunch, every item was freshly made. The roti and naan were hot with steam rising as we broke bread. The sides very nicely seasoned so tasty. Service level and hospitality encouraged me to come back. I loved the family atmosphere. Great job.

The dine in area is nicely decorated and comfortable. Yes, the meat portion is VERY small ( as pointed out by a previous review), I ordered a curry chicken, it literally has only 4 pieces of chicken, but there is plenty of wonderful seasoned sauce to go with the rice. Update: I visited again to try other dishes. I ordered a stew meat dish which is succulent, tender and flavorful. The portion is big, very good value. Love the dish.

Visited this restaurant located in Pickering. The location is easy to reach and there is a lot of parking space available. The restaurant ambiance is beautifully decorated. However, the dine-in space is not too big to handle too many people during busy hours. Ordered the grill platter that included (ย 2 Chicken Seekh Kababs - 2 Beef Seekh Kababs - 1 skewer of Bihari Boti - 4 pieces of Malai Boti - 4 pieces of Tandoori Chicken - 4 Angara wings - 4 Naan - Raita, Salad, and Chutney). Everything was delecious and the meat was juicy and tender, the raita and salad were good. Except for the plain naan, I think they should include butter/sesame seed naan in this platter because the plain naan after some time gets dry and hard to break/chew. Lastly, in the dessert ordered kheer and it was delicious. Would like to revisit to try other dishes and desserts.

Pleasant decor, clean and tidy inside. Went for brunch and got 2 orders of halwa puri. The dishes were fresh and tasty, the puris were fantastic too - not tough at all or drenched in oil. Can't wait to try their other dishes next time!

We were a huge group of 26 people...mostly family visiting Toronto for a special occasion. We got together for a traditional Pakistani breakfast. The restaurant is owned and run by a family from Lahore and Islamabad. The food is very authentic and we enjoyed our halwa puri meal. It came with a delicious chick pea curry and a potato Baaji and a small container of mango and lemon pickle. We also ordered a serving of chicken karahi that was enjoyed by all. Two thumbs up. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Karahi. However, the star of the menu is the chargha. It's mouth watering and worth every penny. Best in GTA.

My husband randomly bought Nehari from this place one day and even though I am not a Nehari fan I just loved it. Super delicious authentic desi taste. We went for dine in few weeks after that and the experience was amazing from the food, ambience, and service everything was great. The amazing lady who is the chef/ owner of the restaurant came out to have a conversation and it was so lovely meeting her and seeing her passion for food. We were convinced we have to place our catering order with them for our son's birthday party and OMG it was just amazing. The bryani was full of masala and not just boiled hard rice that many other places serve in the name of bryani. Badami chicken korma had that authentic shadio wala korma taste, channay just melted in your mouth and that touch of onion on them was great. Star of the show in the party was the seekh kabab and mango delight. Not a single guest left without praising the food. Quality and quantity 10/10. This is in our top favourites restaurants list in the durham region. Thank you for the amazing service.

The food was not at all tasty and way overpriced. The biryani tasted stale and the butter chicken had a ketchup like taste which was absolutely disgusting. To top it off the staff was incredibly rude and served us late despite arriving half an hour early and informing them of our arrival. Staff had completely forgot about our reservation and did not have any food ready for us even though they knew it is the month of Ramadan and people are fasting and hungry. They even served us dates and appetizers long after the fast had opened. I have never experienced such disorganized people and poor customer service. They definitely have many fake reviews here.

We tried this restaurant with our favorite dish, Halwa, Puri and Chana. The Puri were really good. Not very oily, well cooked, crispy but not too hard, just the right texture. Tasted great! Chana tasted to our liking. Well cooked, soft and delicious. The Halwa was good as well. Rich in flavor. The breakfast came with Aaloo subji. I must say this was the best I have tasted so far. We ordered Cardamom Tea and the tea was great! Highly recommended! Must try.

Food was good. More like home made which I liked. Biryani tasted nice and spicy, and quantity was also good. My kids liked the fries and tandoori platter. Owners were very nice and friendly. Rightly priced menu. Overall a good place to enjoy with family and friends.

Great restaurant for family meals! The interior vibe is really nice. We had the chicken tandoori tikka, the lahori chickpeas and the shinwari karahi. The food was amazing with great flavour, good portion sizes and spice level. The service was quick and super helpful. Would definitely visit again!

How have they messed up their menu is beyond me. I have been ordering from them for a while and initially their food was really good. However, lately started noticing weird changes that indicated some change in kitchen, either chef or recipe that affected not only the overall taste but also the impression .. Tons of oil at the bottom of Pilao, a layer of curry type stuff with tons of garam masala at the bottom of birayni container and so on. However today they did something which basically justifies taking our business elsewhereโ€ฆ cause some dishes, you just canโ€™t mess up and if you do, you need to really think about how you got there. Exhibit: the photo shows โ€œhaleemโ€ Placed order over the phone and the person answering the phone said it will take 15min approx. I asked why? They said need to put โ€œtarkaโ€ but otherwise itโ€™s ready. It kinda felt odd to hear that but didnโ€™t think much of it however when I got home and opened the โ€œhaleemโ€ this abomination greeted me. What on earth is that? Have they not ever seen haleem? Tarka on a haleem? Oil which is practically flowing out giving the impression we ordered nihari or something. If you want authentic Pakistani biryani go to Larosh. If you want haleem, better go to silver spoon. Three stars because itโ€™s a family owned restaurant and previously have been decent. Not any more

We went longing for an authentic Lahori Halwa Poori nashta, and we got more than what we hoped for. The food tasted so well, portions were good and the ambiance was also very welcoming. The owners were looking after everything with keen observations and were pleasantly interacting with the guests, making them feel comfortable and welcomed. We've been looking for some really good Lahori Nashta place I Dhurhum and today we found one. Will definitely go there again, soon

Amazing food and service! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Their number one priority is making their customers happy and they are extremely accommodating. Have had multiple catering orders completed by them and each time their food has been amazing! Multiple exquisite Pakistani dishes to choose from. Quantity and quality is never an issue. Highly highly recommend!

I was here last week with my family. The food was delicious, with a unique recipe, and tasted better with each bite. We ended up eating more than our limits, but just couldn't stop. It is a clean facility and the environment, paintings, kites, and set up adds to the experience. This is easily the best Karahi I have had in the GTA. I highly recommend Karahi Hut.
