As a former competitive gymnast of six years, I was looking for a way to stay active and keep up my strength after retiring from my competitive gymnastics career. I have always been interested in aerial acrobatics, and when I heard Osborne Academy of Acrobatics featured an aerial silks class, I was hooked. I attended a trial class with my sister, and we instantly loved it. Our coach is attentive, thoughtful, explains how to do skills very well and clearly has a passion for aerial acrobatics. She was patient when my sister and I were in our first few practices and were unsure of what to do, and she made sure we were being safe and efficient while learning new skills. We connected easily with the other kids in the class and have reconnected with a few old friends from our gymnastics careers! Watching my progress throughout the past few months that I've been training at Osborne Academy of Acrobatics has been fascinating for me, and I can't wait to see how far I improve from here on. OAA has a wonderful facility, with quality equipment and a staff that is passionate for sport and is willing to connect with athletes on a personal level. Would definitely recommend.

The greatest group of teachers and coaches you could have between atmosphere and knowledge. Professional and oh so friendly they easily make you part of their family. I was one of those guys that decided on starting "gymnastics" late (trampoline! ...to be correct) and found the Osborne's. Had a great experience slowly learning how to do back flips and just to be a kid again, having fun while working out and expanding yourself. Then seeing smiles on kids faces during their classes and what they can do was nothing less than priceless and jaw dropping. This is an amazing place that I HIGHLY recommend for anyone at any age.

The staff are professional and always courteous. The coaches and trainers are fun and engaging. The owner, Cameron, is always approachable and great with the student learners.

My son joined their summer camp for 2 weeks and boy did he love it! The counselors were all awesome. The owners are so nice also, no fuss about missed days or anything. So many trampolines and lots of fun activities for the kids.

I’m thankful that I decided to sign my daughter up for a trial class rather than registering her right away as I noticed that most times are full and they only had one spot available left. The staff at the facilities don’t seem to care much. Did not engage in any type of conversations with us in letting us know where to go or what to expect in the trial class, only until my husband kept asking where are we supposed to go, which teacher should our daughter go to etc. even after the class I have had no one from OAA contact me via phone nor email as a follow up.

If you are looking for a gymnastics type place to have a birthday party Osbourne Academy of Acrobatics is the place to go. I had my 8 year old daughter birthday there this weekend and it was fantastic. The kids loved it. They offer a full 1 1/2 hours in the gym, as opposed to the other gymnastics places in Pickering that only offer one hour. Then from jumping and doing tricks on the trampolines, to learning new moves on the silks, the kids loved it. They kept them busy the whole time, there were no lines ups for any of the activities. Thank you Osbourne for making my daughters 8th birthday such a great time.

Myself and my children attend classes at OAA and we all love it. The staff are very welcoming and talented, it’s a pleasure to be amongst such incredible gymnasts!!

OAA is a fantastic gym! My 3 year old daughter had a bit of a rough start following instructions and doing the routines, but coach Dereck stayed with it and now she loves coming to class! Highly recommended this gym! So nice to get kids moving and confident.

The facilities, owners, staff and coaches are all exceptional. Since joining this gym we've always felt like we were part of a family. The coaches are very patient and are enthusiastic about teaching. We have 2 kids currently enrolled for the past year and a half and we always rave about this gym to our friends with kids. So much so that 4 of our daughter's friends have since joined. Our daughter is in Junior Gymnastics and Intro to Performance Aerial and our son is in the Tyke Gymnastic class. We can truly say that we have seen great progression in their physical abilities. What is even greater to see is that the kids are gaining so much more than just strength and technique. Being part of the program has help to build confidence and experience on how to overcome challenges. If you are looking for an activity/club to direct your kids energy in a positive way I would highly recommend having them do a free trail class here. I'm very happy that we found this club for our kids.

Love everything about OAA! my girls are so happy to go there every Saturday for gymnastics.

Went in for a trial class for my almost 8 year old daughter. The staff are very lovely. I was nervous to be rushed before I went in as I've had some bad experience with other group classes for kids (I get it can be chaotic) but the lady at the front was so lovely and patient and went through everything with me in great detail. Aside from that -- my daughter LOVED her trial class so we signed up! We hope to be long time members and wish them continued success.

I have trained & had the wonderful opportunity to learn from Cam nearly ten years ago. I was ecstatic to hear he finally made his dream come true & opened his own gym! I am more than happy to have my children train at Cam's gym! The staff at OAA have been great & the class sizes allow for quality instruction! If you're looking for a place for you or your children to train, give OAA a go!

Highly recommend ! My daughter tried several camps this summer , and said this was her favourite! Staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. She is excited to go back !

OAA is one of my favourite places I trained there from 2014 to 2017 doing competitive trampoline and since 2017 I try to go back every few months to jump around just for fun. If you're interesting in starting trampoline, tumbling, or aerials either competitively or just for fun OAA is the perfect place. The OAA's community is always ready to welcome new athletes or retired ones that just miss jumping around too much to stop.

If you are interested in quality programming that is taught by caring, fun and qualified instructors, then OAA is the place for you! Our daughter goes to the gym with a smile on her face and comes out of the gym with an even bigger smile. The personal interest that the coaches take in the athletes has resulted in huge gains in skill development and even bigger gains in our daughter's self-confidence. Thank you OAA for creating such a positive, nurturing and caring environment where each child can achieve their potential.

Staff is friendly. My two kids (both under the age of 6) love the place. I like that I get to stay and watch them do their class.

I trained here for 3 years and have nothing but amazing memories! I had been doing competitive gymnastics since I was 6 years old and this was hands down the best coaching and environment I have experienced. Cam and Leah were amazing coaches who also promoted an environment of happiness and fun while fostering a coaching environment were every athlete could reach their full athletic potential! I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to introduce their children into the world of gymnastics!

I use to train at this facility, coach, and help out when I could. I couldn’t of asked for a better group of people to be around. Cameron & Leah make for a great experience and always have Kids and adults best interest in mind! if you ever get the chance you definitely won’t regret it!!!

We were excited to discover OAA! My child absolutely loves their camp (which offered a lot of flexibility in terms of days and times). He continues to ask when he can go back to camp. I have also tried their adult classes (trampoline/aerial) and every coach has been friendly and helpful while learning new skills. Been a great experience!
