I would like the kids to get more attention from instructors. The main instructor shows a move and everybody goes by pair and practice. This is where I find the kids to be alone for quite some time without much guidance. There a a lot of older kids/coaches but most of the time they chat together while kids are practicing on their own. Takes longer to learn and progress…

Great gym and instructors, atmosphere is very friendly and supportive. Originally I’ve been choosing between this gym and another one which is a little bit closer to my home, but finally decided to join this one and I'm 100% happy of the choice I made. My only regret is that I haven't started earlier.

I highly recommend this gym. My husband and I made a great decision of moving our kids here from another gym over a year ago. Professor Fernando and Maura have been nothing but helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. There are many programs to choose from - BJJ, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Judo, Kick-boxing, all for a great price. Professor Fernando and the Coaches are all highly skilled and very well experienced. They are all great teachers for kids and adults alike whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner. There's always a good student-teacher ratio in every class. Everyone gets the attention they need from the coaches during the classes. The gym is well maintained and is always clean. My boys are happy to train here because of the amazing positive atmosphere all around!

My 4 year old daughter just joined. She loves it and can't wait to attend class. The coaches are really good with the kids and work really hard to ensure each child is safe and has fun.

My son has been a part of Martial Arts for 4 years now. We recently switched Gyms and started at action reaction and I cant say enough about this place. Family oriented , CLEAN, professional and most importantly, they treat each of the members with the same respect and welcome (no favoritism). The previous Gym we were part of was so unprofessional and I didnt realize this till we joined and saw the difference @ Action reaction. I was skeptical at first about changing Gyms but Fernando and all the coaches have made the transition so easy for my son. My son loves being here now. During this Pandemic, they have been following all protocol implemented by the government and have taken the safety of all the members seriously. Action Reaction has a friendly safe family atmosphere. Fantastic Martial Arts Academy for beginners ( with no experience) to people that may want to compete. This facility is spacious , clean with a variety of classes run with exceptional instruction. I am bery happy to be a member . Geoff

Both my 12 year old son and 17 year old daughter have been going for the past 6 or so months now and they both have learned so much from the Fernando and the other instructors. They all train hard and support each other's development. The kids are going almost six times a week without complaining which is speaks volumes of how much they enjoy the training.

I have been a member for a year now and I can truly say that the environment in this academy is amazing, everyone is friendly and the classes are fun. Fernando and Kevin are high level BJJ athletes and my main BJJ instructors, they are amazing and are always eager to teach. They have 2 locations and offer a lot of classes and the facilities are clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn martial arts.

I recently enrolled my six-year-old child in Action and  Reaction Jujitsu Pickering location and we have been extremely impressed with the level of instruction and support provided. Since joining in February of this year, my child has already participated in two tournaments and has brought home medals in both. The coaches are knowledgeable and patient, and they have created a positive and welcoming environment for all students. I highly recommend this club to anyone interested in learning Jujitsu or looking to improve their skills in the sport.
