We called Lids in Pickering to get a championship hat for the Raptors. They told us they have two left. We asked to put one on hold by the time we drive there from Whitby. They said ok. After driving for about 40 min in traffic they told us they were actually sold out of them since 11 am and we called at 2pm. This was ridiculous the worst customer service ever, they did not do anything to compensate us for the wrong information, the wasted time and gas. Horrible customer service, they were not even apologetic. I’m very disappointed and will never return to them.

Looked good from de outside, there was no one manning it when we passed. Everyone deserves a break, but you're losing potential sales when your one employee has to take their break. Owners should look into hiring more staff.

I bought two amazing sports hats from the Pickering Lids store at the Pickering Town Centre today. I bought one Ottawa Senators Sports Hat and a Vancouver Canucks Sports Hat. The customer service was fantastic!!! I was able to try out both hats and the hats fit my head very well as the two hats are adjustable. I highly recommend the Pickering Lids store for their fantastic and amazing customer service and they have a great selection of various sports hats!!! A+++++ to the Pickering Lids store at the Pickering Town Centre. I went today on June 30, 2021 to the Pickering Town Center, Lids Store to buy an amazing and beautiful Boston Bruins Sports Hat!!! The gentleman was wonderful and he allowed me to try put different NHL Sports Hats that I was interested in buying. I choose to buy the Boston Bruins Sports Hat because they are an awesome NHLbHockey Team and Boston is a very beautiful city!!! Thank you.😊😉🇨🇦🇺🇸

Went in with my daughter yesterday. Was planning to purchase 27 hats for a class Xmas gift. 3 people were sitting by the desk (one person sitting on the desk). We weren't even greeted, or asked if we needed help. All 3 associates were glued to their phones. I wasn't even sure who worked there. After 5 minutes we left. Zero stars. If I were the manager, I'd fire them all.

Just like everyone else said, no one ever helps you because they’re too busy texting or on the phone, sitting on counters or up a ladder. I passed by at noon the other day and the male ‘working’ was literally asleep across the counter lol

Went by and was looking at some hats. I wanted to ask the clerk about a hat. There were 3 people in store and clearly 1 was a busy of one of the clerks. They were just hanging out talking about a party the night before and who the buddy slept with after the party. The other clerk was on her phone. When I prodded her to answer my question, she was very short with her answers and acted as if I was bothering her. I left the hat on the counter and walked out.

Be nice if someone was working here at 10:30am and not on break already with the store locked..

Cj refuse to serve me at 8pm. Said the store was closed. Change your hours online if you close at 8pm. Unacceptable.

I'm usually a fan of this location but after yesterday's interaction with the female associate, it has completely changed my mind. They had an in-store offer of buy one get one half off in which I asked the associate which hats weren't applicable. She pointed to a small corner by the cash. So I went about picking two hats from the opposite side of the wall. After spending nearly 20 minutes picking out the perfect hats, she now mentioned some new rule that one of the hats was not part of the deal which is "on sale" but excluded. That threw me off a bit since she made no mention of that at first. So I go on to ask which hat would be included then, and now she points at this tiny bottom section and says these are the only hats part of the offer and the ten rows above aren't. She had made no attempt to tell me about this in the last 20 minutes I spent searching for hats in the section she initially mentioned was part of the offer, to now narrow it down to 2 rows?? This left me upset and felt like she wasted my time by not providing me a full answer of their deal. She was on her phone for the entire time I was in the store so she definitely did not give us much attention. Even when I was cashing out, she still manged to be on her phone.

I ordered a Gucci hat for $600 and I received a John Deere hat and I was furious. Then I gave the hat to a kid that lived in a orphanage and burned the orphanage right after because I was furious. Never going there again.

Small mall location. Decent selection of popular hats. Not much in the way of less common items and no custom emroidery at this location.

Terrible customer service. Three people sitting on their phones while I’m looking for a hat. Not one of them looked up or asked if I needed anything. I had to ask if any of them worked there as I couldn’t tell. I then asked if they had the hat I was looking for. I got a quick “No” with a blank stare, so I just walked out
