Always a pleasure to shop at Shoppers. Shoppers Drug Mart is a unique place which remains open till 10 pm and a few stores till mid night 12 O'clock It has a huge pharmacy with very efficient and formal staff to serve the patients and provide all the medications they need. Shoppers also has a huge variety of other items like Perfumes, cosmetics, dental brushes, pStes and other cleaning n whitening stuff. SHOPPERS DRUG MART has Seniors Discount on almost on every thing in the store and once in a while they offer a $10 gift card when you buy items for more than $50 accordingly. A minis post office is very convenient for sending gifts to loved ones. You can have passport forms and pictures. Shoppers keeps variety of electronic items. Their Mini rack for power glasses is great.

ATTN PHARMACY TEAM: The pharmacy team is pretty good at this location, but honestly they don't pick up their phones or you're left on the call for at least 25min. Before you give up and try again. Also, what's the point of doing refill requests via online or phone when they don't read them anyway?! These are medications we NEED, not like we have a choice in some cases. I've even tried calling in the early hours and they still don't pick up. This is really pushing me to use my insurance's private pharmacy instead and I'll get my stuff delivered to my door.

I haven't been to this location for a while but stopped in today to pick up some items. Was sad to see they got rid of cashier stations and were forcing customers to use self check outs. I guess this is the way stores get rid of staff, cut jobs & save money (while still charging high prices). Wouldn't mind doing it myself so much if we (customers) received discount for doing cashier's job of scanning and bagging items. Feel sorry for young people who are looking for starter jobs and find themselves being replaced by automation like this. Won't be returning to this location again.

Literally the best Shoppers in the area. Their pharmacy staff are so busy but have never messed up my order. My insurance plan is very gimmicky and I usually have many problems putting it in for other pharmacies. However, this Shoppers was very quick and efficient with it. Even though there was initially an issue, the male technician did his best to explain what was wrong and we quickly had a solution! The staff here are caring and always inform me of what needs to happen next. Earned a new customer!

The prescription that my doctor provided was 100 mg of antibiotics for 30 days but the pharmacist gave me 100 mg for 15 days I told him about this and he kept on arguing so I left with only 100 mg for 15 days instead of 100 mg for 30 days

This a large Shoppers Drug Mart. I did not use the pharmacy there, just the store. Located in the Pickering Town Centre. Whats nice is you can enter from outside the mall or directly if you are inside the Mall.

The beauty boutique manager Alicia has the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced, so rude, condescending, HORRENDOUS attitude! She’s so rude, I couldn’t believe how I heard her speaking to her fellow employees and other customers. She’s clearly disgruntled and miserable. She has no right working in customer service. The other beauty boutique employees are fabulous, so friendly and professional but the manager was just awful.

Tried to call to inquire if a medication was in srock to have a prescription transferred. Nobody answers the phone. I guess thats a sign to move on when they cant even pick up the phone. Other reviews have noted the same issue.

The employees at this location make their own rules. Each time I go, there is a different ruling on coupons. Some employees allow multiple coupons in one transaction and others say 1 coupon per transaction. This is the only shoppers drug mart I ever have issues with. Train your employees to all follow the same rules.

You ever call infront of the counter to see why they never answer your calls from home? It's fun watching 7 people and half of them bluntly admiting they don't want to answer the phone? Was GREAT to see them NOT be busy and NOT want to do their jobs. Had to see for myself why they let us try calling for hours. In my case a few times a day cause I work so much and don't have time. Oh and they won't accept the renewal online :)

Went in for assistance as my daughter was having an allergic reaction. The care we got at the pharmacy was outstanding. They suggested we wait after taking benedryl so they could monitor her. Ended up calling an ambulance for us and we’re so prompt and professional.

The store and employees are great! However yesterday in the store there was a man with a dog, off leash, walking around inside...? Since when is this allowed? This is gross and unwelcoming for customers. Unless an animal is a service animal it has no business being inside a store. What about allergies? What about people afraid of animals? What if an animal attacks someone? Poops or pees in the store? You need better enforcement Shoppers!!!

This place is terrible. Always long waits, very slow service at the pharmacy, post office and if you think you can consult over the phone just forget it. To pick up one medication, I had to return 3 times coz they keep missing the prescription faxes all the time. That one star is what I am forced to give to put my feedback in. I will give my business to someone who will provide better service.

I went to this shoppers after going to the shoppers at walnut lane because an employee there was not being truthful to me about a product being sold. The employee at walnut was trying to upsell me a “limited edition” version of the clinique almost lipstick despite me asking for the regular $30 one and showing them on my phone the price and that they had it in stock. Well, i felt like i was being taken advantage of so i went to the shoppers in the pickering town centre to see if this $30 one actually existed. Silvana in the beauty department was able to easily find the clinique almost lipstick for $30 for me. I asked if she could do a return for the other more expensive one that i didn’t want and she said it was no problem. She was extremely helpful and knew exactly what i wanted ! She even gave me 3 free samples of cologne and perfume for me and my girlfriend ! My girlfriend lost this lipstick so i wanted to get the exact same one as a gift, not some limited edition one that is the same size with only having a bejewelled case. Silvana was so nice and wished me merry christmas and was so happy to serve me. Please visit her in the beauty department at the pickering town centre and stay away from Yvonne at Walnut lane !

Called this pharmacy yesterday, waited 50 minutes no answer. Trying again today and I have been waiting 35 minutes. Whatever system you are using for answering phone calls in your pharmacy is pathetic. You are screening calls - DO BETTER.

Worst customer service ever! The pharmacy never answers their phone and then when you come in for your prescription you have to wait 2 hours because they wouldn't answer when you tried to call ahead. The phone literally just rings and rings for 30 mins. Hire someone to answer the damn phone! You make enough money on your over priced prescriptions!

the pickering town centre pharmacy in shoppers has the worst customer service out of all the other locations i have been to. i received confirmation that both medications of mine and my sister were ready for pickup, but in error i had gone to the wrong location in ptc. the pharmacy assistant afsana was extremely rude in her demeanour towards me, and it’s not the first time she has spoken to me or my family this way, nor is she the only one who does so. she refused that i received confirmation which was true given my mistake of not reading the correct address, but she said she didn’t know if i was lying and repeatedly told me to ‘just listen’ as she tried to control the entire conversation by telling me that i was wrong and that there is no other shoppers that could help me. not sure why anyone would need to lie about such a situation, rather it was just a mistake and could have been handled much more respectfully. It is beyond me why people with such lack of compassion are hired to work within our medical system. not to mention how difficult it is to get a hold of this pharmacy since no one ever answers, no matter the urgency. there is no other pharmacy that operates this way. i went to the next shoppers down the road and got much better service and walked out with my medications for my sister and i within half an hour. Will definitely be moving my file elsewhere. tried to give it another chance but truly any other location is better than this one.

There’s 2 ways to enter the store which makes it nice if you don’t want to be in the mall. I notice I have to park a little far since it’s a busy lot. It’s a small store yet it’s always hard to find what I’m looking for, I always have to ask

A good selection of emergency items for when you are sick. They have a selection of small batteries, which is handy for small medical devices. You pay for convenience.

Fantastic customer service from the Pharmacy team.

I had the worst experience at the shoppers pickering town center feels like I have wasted my time there. I went there to buy the la roche posay sunscreen which was on sale, I choose one of its sunscreen and the price written below it was 27.99 cad, and when I went to pay for it the cashier asked me to pay 36 cad, I tell her the price written on it is 27.99, she check it and quickly took of the price and instead of apologizing when I asked her to adjust the price she called her manager Jennifer, and they both make me feel like I am a fool and as if I don't know anything. The manager said rudly to call at the customers service if you want and they will not do any price match or anything. Will never go there again.

Frequent this store as both a customer and an educator. Cannot say enough positive feedback about the staff in this store! To a person, they are helpful, kind, inclusive and all willing to learn about the students coming to work here. Friendly environment, easy to navigate the store and pharmacy. This Shoppers Drug Mart at 650 Kingston Road Pickering Ontario has an amazing Staff. I have been going there for over 10 Years and not once I had an issue with a prescription or a Staff. The Staff are well trained and always Polite,Caring,Respectful and Professional not only towards me but I have seen first hand over the years they treat everyone and I mean everyone with dignity and respect. I must say it is always a pleasure going to this location. Kudoos to the management and Staff. Note I am a very picky and a conservative individual but I have seen born winners and complainers with no basic commonsense who create problems for others to solve just because of their incompetence..

Always impossible to contact over the phone, constant communication errors and prescription deadlines never met. I'm leaving this pharmacy and moving to another location because I can't deal anymore with the stress of this location. There is no reason why this pharmacy can't have a proper waiting queue system like every other Shoppers location I've contacted.

The Pickering Town Centre Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy is terrible. I have been dealing with them for years and they have, on more than one occasion, forgotten to deliver my medication after confirming it will be. More than once. The staff has been dismissive over the phone. It is also incredibly difficult to get someone on the phone. The holds are long. Today for example, I have been trying to connect with them since 10am and it is currently 2:30pm. I have been repeatedly left without medication for days. I thought I would try them one more time this month but again, the service has been inexcusable. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
