πŸ‘πŸ‘ Staff and Manager are very friendly. My experience has always been positive here. I learned that other donation companies are not really non-profit and for that reason we always donate here. Have picked up some great bargains here! Too bad they stopped taking small furniture due to Covid. People often mention store, staff, items,

Much smaller store than the Ajax location so there is limited selection in all departments. Prices are still good and it's for a very good cause.

I paid a visit to this Salvation Army this past week for the first time. My usual go-to thrift store is generally Value Village but I thought I would check this store out since it is near neighbourhood. I was honestly quite taken back when I entered the store as it was rather dirty and cluttered. A lot of the items that they sell are in very poor condition; more garbage than thrift-store material, and the prices for their items are outrageous. Way more expensive than what Value Village sells their items for. I will not be returning to this store in the future.

The prices are affordable and I love receiving emails about upcoming promotions and sales. I do find their inventory to be dry at times so it is a hit or miss whether you will find something especially in regards to clothing items. Staff also at the location are very friendly!

Very rude employee Mala. Condescending and makes customers wait while chatting with her friends. Also changes prices at the cash register to charge more. Avoid Mala if another cash register is open.

I have problems with my feet due to health challenges. One of the staff tried their best to help me by finding footwear that would be suitable for my feet. Unable at this time.

Employees are so slow. Store look sad. Prices are through the roof They talk so slow they move so slow. Not that they are seniors but simply lazy. They are not friendly at all and absolutely have no intention to assist customers at all. They may increase their voice if you walked into the store without waiting your turn. As I witnessed they almost yelled at the man who just walked in...No respect and employees have no manners at all. Very small yet very expensive thrift store. Found a good vintage radio for $40 literally selling for $10 to $15 on ebay yet way better condition. I just put it back. Items and in the show case have prices even more than the retail... Preowned Star wars pops: $40... same ones are $3 dollarama Vintage Plastic Cars: $40 to $50...same ones are $10 to $15 on ebay plus free shipping Used Prada foam woman shoe: $100...just go to. winners in downtown you ll find better one around same price... Hockey Cards: $45....None of them worth any money but they were in binder. I think anything they see binder they be like omg this worth money...You could buy same ones at value village for maybe $3 to $5. There were some Xmen cards I really liked. I asked how much..around 20 of them... they said they all come together with the hockey cards. I asked them these are not hockey cards and they are in separate sleeves. It is probably one of the employees just put it next to the hockey cards and they were not even priced.. I kindly offered to pay for xmen cards only. They could just let me take these and charge me may be $10 but they were not willing to help at all. I asked again kindly but they refused to help and changed her tone. Then I got made to wanted speak with the manager...And manager simply couldnt listen what I had to say as she simply walked away when I started telling her my concerns about their prices and employees not willing to assist customers.

Check your invoice against the number of items you paid. I had a very bad experience of overcharging and when I returned the cashier was not at all courteous and refused to understand that there are errors on my invoice. I didn't want to make a fuss because after all, it's the Salvation Army so it's to help the poorest. Pay attention!

Don't go shopping in this store! Tell me that's not the price when it's labeled 5.99! And then pretend to go in and get the manager and come out and say $20 Are you kidding? All your 9.99 stuff is in the locker! Do you have this 19.99 on the shelf? Say it's a charity shop because I think you'd rather rob it
