πŸ‘πŸ‘ A very nice place to spend time with family, kids, and friends. It has a beautiful beach and an awesome lake view. Good place to ride paddle boards. It has a couple of mobile toilets - peace of mind. Also, there are many parking spots which are very close to the lake. People often mention beach, parking, water, sand,

Our journey to cover the waterfront trail continues. West shore West Beach is spacious, and the water was cleaner than the other ideas I visited in the past. It was a hot day, so the weather was, however, the warm water was feeling good. This trail is not too quick, just one and a half km. It’s scenic, and people are Courteous. There are many empty spots between groups of people, so you can find a suitable picnic area by the beach if you are looking to spend a day with your loved ones.

Great space for a picnic or hang out by the waters edge. Explore the area, enjoy the outdoors, ignore the nuclear plant, if you can, lol. Unfortunately, there is paid parking, or pay the ticket, it is patrolled.

Nice beach for long walks and spending relaxed evenings with family and friends. Paid parking is always full! Water is little cold even in hot summer. You cannot enter water with bear feet, beach sandals or shoes is must as the lake bed is very uneven, pabbly, rocky and usually strong currents, at least every time we visited. For water sports except windsurfing, you got to be lucky, pray for calm winds and waters!

Great beach to visit and great for those who are residents of Durham and Scarborough. Paid parking is now in place for those who do not live in the area. Peaceful, fun and honestly not too busy. Enjoy πŸ™‚

Definitely come here during the weekdays because you'll find parking. The beach is relatively clean and it stretches a long way.

Since it's very close to our home so we often visit this beach. Love to go in the morning when it's quite around and have our coffee there .

Beautiful, flat, sandy beach. The parking lot is well maintained. There is a portable washroom by the roundabout. Starting Summer 2022, non-Pickering residents can get parking for 5 per hour for up to 6 hours a day; monthly and seasonal permits are also available online. I visited in late July and the lot was much less busy than it was in 2021.

Love this beach! We love to swim or paddleboard here. So beautiful and lovely little sandy street h of beach as well as some picnic tables with a beautiful lake view. Hopefully one day there will be more parking, real toilets and a café or food truck ☺️

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Frenchman's Bay is a great place to visit and spend your day, chill and hike with friends and family. It is a small place with not many parking spaces. Once the parking lot is full, they close the main entrance at W Shore Blvd and then strictly follow β€œvehicle-out, vehicle-in” policy. There are ple...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It is such a peaceful and beautiful little park by the Frenchman’s Bay. I have been a resident of this neighborhood for the past few months. The good thing about this place is that its less busier as compared to the main marina. If you live in the neighborhood, do ensure you have registered for the...

πŸ‘ This park is truly beautiful. Lots of open space, the baseball diamonds need a little TLC, but the soccer field is gorgeous. Watched the fire works there for canada day and it was beautiful.
