Having grown up in Beamsville it was hard to see that the museum was actually in the building that was once the public library that I have many memories of hanging out while reading in the summers for the summer reading club but after experiencing it and enjoying all the artwork that was on display and the visiting ROM exhibit and learning how they host pioneer day and much more there it was amazing to know the space is still being used! I also had no idea about the freemasons "clubhouse" upstairs and was super interesting learning about it! Great visit overall.

This is a great place to visit for history in Lincoln as well as local art. We drop in often. They also offer interesting events. The historical society worked hard for many years to help fund it, and continue to do so. Check it out!

Great place to visit! Perfect field trip for kids to learn about the pioneers. Our tour guide Beth did a wonderful job of bringing us back to 1908 and and told us about what school was like for the students who attended. They have great activities planned for Family day 2023!

I have little to no artist skill, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Fraktur painting workshop offered at the Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre in Jordan. (Fraktur is a folky art form practiced by early Mennonite settlers.) Olivia inspired us by first walking us through the Fraktur Exhibit (entry to the museum is by donation) where beautifully drawn angels, birds and flowers embellished songbooks and documents from the early 1800s. Then we had an opportunity to create our very own Fraktur with lots of direction and kind assistance from Olivia. My friends and I pre-registered and had a great time in a safe environment. Thank you Olivia! Hope to return for your rug hooking workshop in October.

Lovely people keeping local history alive. Some buildings closed for the winter

Great little space to learn about local history. There was a Canadian hockey exhibit on loan that was interesting. Though the historic homes and school were closed, walking the grounds and the trail made for a great day out.
