I usually don't give bad review but this winner spot is horrible for return. Bought an item from Scarborough and while trying to return it here they cited that the item is not in the correct department code and therefore is not acceptable. So that means now customer has to know what is related department code so that it can be returned. The customer service didn't make any effort to solve the issue. Not coming back

The African - American lady at the jewelry department is out of her mind! I asked her what the abbreviation mean on the tag and her response was: -"I don't know, you can google it". Is Google going to tell me the abbreviation of the tag in Winners? I understand that to be standing at the cash not requires so much skills or education, however why don't you educate yourself about the product? and not to mention her unnecessary attitude! I don't think I am interested returning to this store!

While I was there yesterday Sunday October 2nd closed to closing around 5:30pm. I went to use the restroom. When I finish and old lady who works at jewelry department said to me that I need to pick up the tissues on the floor in the washroom. She was rude and who is she to tell me to pick up a toilet paper on the floor which it wasn't mind. I'm so disgusted by it. And she should be be reported for telling a customer like myself to say that.

Used to visit here. Until they jacked up prices to the point that Wal-Mart has become cheaper. No idea what they are doing. I overheard a manager speaking to an employee saying "oh we can sell this for $59.95" Then they both laughed. Kind of weird. Shop around. There are better deals and products elsewhere.

It is a standard winners with hard working, polite people. It is clean. Great for setting up a new place with basic kitchen items, linens and decor. Also great place to find hostess gifts.

The lady who work at the Jewelry department (Sharon) should be fired and she's been reported to head office already. Her attitude towards my mother was so belligerent that other customers who were shopping noticed it and left the counter. She clearly has some problems with Caucasian people which shouldn't be tolerated. I am disgusted by her attitude and will no longer be shopping at this location until this person is there!

I picked up an item and when I got to the cash realized it was damaged and had discoloration. Asked the cashier if it could be marked down due to the damage, was advised they received it that way. Ok if that's the case why is a damaged item being sold at full price?!. She was very dismissive. Zero integrity. I left the product behind. Even taking off the tax would of been acceptable. I guess misery loves company.

10/30/2021 - Do not go to this location on a weekend afternoon or evening unless it is absolutely necessary. I understand parents have to take their children with them to the store for whatever reasons, but kids are running around everywhere you turn and management does nothing about it. It was overall an unpleasant experience. You cannot shop at this store in peace. Do not recommend.

The black lady at Jewelry should learn some basic skills! She never greet customers, or try to be nice or at least answer questions! She is always so negative that I don’t even want to ask to see some pieces as I am disgusted by her attitude and don’t want to try anything from her hands! Such a miserable and mean woman!

I like shopping here, I can get pretty much most of the things I'm looking for. The store is well organized and checkout is faster than you may first imagine.

Winners continues this season to be the spot where I go for everything except footwear. It's THEEEE place to get your cool T's (and for 14 bucks), spring raincoats and active wear. You don't need a nosy commision-hungry sales person bugging you. It's the buffet of all-you-need in one place. If you find yourself in Pickering, then you'll see that honesense is there too. 10 out of 10 - update December 2023- it's nice I'm there, lots of inventory gone due to Christmas and holidays etc. But still some items worth grabbing such as underwear, active wear for upper body, protein bars on the way the cash are on sale right now 12/9.99. I grabbed them. Homesense has the nicest inventory currently in my area for decently-priced small furniture items and bedding. Management is really cool at this location. Cashier's always in a good mood. Ten out ten as always

Very popular place among adult audience.

This Winners location is inside the Pickering Town Centre mall. The store is close to the mall entrance by Jack Astors. Overall the store was pretty well organized and most items were priced. The furniture area had lots of storage benches, bar stools, arm chairs and some nice loveseats. You can definitely spend a whole hour here and find lots of great items for the home and your closet.

Winners kitchen items are always sold out ..... they have excellent items for kitchen and bathroom and living room.

I must say with the amount of people that were in line when I was ready to cash out was outrageous.. But the ladies working today really had the line moving quickly while displaying such great customer service skills. Cheryl was the lovely lady who cashed out my item and I must say I have never received such great service anywhere. Great team!

Best winners in Durham in my opinion! Just the fact that they have a huge selection of inventory to search though and find the best deals. Name brand clothing for a fraction of the cost. not to mention HomeSense side with some luxurious items to browse and gather great ideas for your own home. Must stop for individuals looking for a good find and to kill time!

I really love Winners; however, my last experience included a random male worker glaring at me while I was in line. He was an older European gentleman. Weird!

It fits in with the mall, so it is, to me, stocked a bit different than regular stand alone big box stores. I prefer the Ajax location

Black lady who claims she's the manager is extremely rude. She definitely needs to take some 'basic' customer relations courses. Will not be back at this location.

Just OK. I am a local and visit this location 2-3 times weekly. Never have I been astounded or extremely satisfied with the variety especially at Homesense. There are only 2 isles of throw pillows which is disappointing compared to other locations that have 3-4. Not to mention the isles are extremely small so a variety cannot be carried. Some pillows look like they have been sitting on the shelf for weeks as I visit so often and see the same styles sitting there. According to the floor plan I believe they could definitely make room for another isle. Also, there are barely two racks of curtain panels, and the racks are never full when I visit and look sparse. Would like to see a larger variety in living room textiles as this is one of the main things shoppers go in for.

Love shopping at Home Senses Winners. Really good deals to be found if you have time to sift thru the racks. Today I got a 7 piece bath towel set for $28. Plus a few other items which made it a satisfying shopping experience the only thing I didn't like is at the checkout desk, my first purchase was 8 items and this person was trying to fit everything into one small bag. That was awful
