    While delivering package Purolator doesn't ring the door bell and just places "sorry we missed you" note on the door. This happened twice. I was in my living room both the times when they put the note. I then have to come to this location to pickup my package. A simple ring on the bell would have avoided me 2 unnecessary trips to this location. I wish I can choose a different courier provider while ordering items online. Alao, when I dropped off an Amazon return, the Purolator agent said they dont scan the QR code, asked me to ready out QR code numbers and she accepted the item and packaged it. Looks like she made mistake while entering the QR code number manually in the system After 4 days Amazon still didnt receive the item and I had to call them to request a refund. If possible I would avoid Purolator due to multiple bad experiences.

    Warning āš ļø Revised - after receiving a generic ā€œsorry we donā€™t provide receiptsā€ reply to my post from the pr team. It doesnā€™t change the fact the staff at this location are very short to customers. They are quick to get you out & they miss items being returned. I would suggest you stand there & watch them scan & listen for the confirmation beep then leave. The last thing we need is to contact amazon customer service for my missing refund. **clearly the local post office & UPS provided way better service & always gave a receipt for returns**

    I had to make a trip to Purolator in Pickering for the purpose of picking up a package. According to the notice I received, the delivery driver had supposedly knocked on my door. However, I'm unsure as to how we could have missed the knock, given the two of us were home, and we even have two large dogs that are quick to bark at any knock on the door. Nevertheless, I proceeded with the journey to collect the package, which was a little inconvenient. Upon arrival, I found only one person ahead of me in line. Fortunately, the staff efficiently handled the transaction process. The parking area was notably congested, likely due to the fact that everyone seemed to have followed the notice's instructions to arrive around 6 pm.

    Great customer service at this location in Pickering on Squires Beach Road no line up. As soon as I walked through the door, someone came out from the back and quickly weighed, scanned the parcel. This location is also very clean with multiple parking spots available. There is a red button on the exterior of the building to the right of the door to activate automatic door.

    I dropped off my package over 1 week ago and no one scanned it in for shipping. The staff were friendly, said to just leave it in the pile like others. When I use the tracking number, there are no updates on my package and it does not even show it has been scanned where I dropped off the package at their facility. Another time my package was deemed delivered to me but I never received it. When I called to inquire, I had to open a claim and the conclusion that purolator gave was they could not locate it and only the shipper (from the company i ordered) can make a claim.

    Was supposed to have a parcel delivered today, was present at home but did not hear a door knock, did not receive a phone call, and only a notice was left. Now I am told I have to go pick up the parcel in Pickering in the next 5 days and it will not even be available for pickup until after 7pm today. I would recommend people to verify ahead of time at the time of ordering if their order will be shipped by Purolator and just cancel it in advance if so, as this company is incompetent and operates a storage business, not a shipping business.

    I am disabled and the worker there would not assist me packing up books for return and printing the labels. I asked 3 times and the lady was stubborn and refused to help me. The instructions I have specifically stated Purolator will package the books for me when I arrive. It was a challenge for me to stand for a long time try to figure out the packaging and to try to print the labels on the poor interface. Please re train the staff at the front desk.

    Unfortunately every time I have gone to this store, I am always met with rudeness and made to feel stupid for not having tape. The last time will be my last time as the owner I believe made me feel completely uncomfortable I front of other customers because the box was taped up. I highly recommend going anywhere but here!

    Title: Extremely Disappointed with Purolator's Incompetence and Lack of Accountability Review: I am writing this scathing review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with Purolator's services. I recently posted a package on December 1st, which cost me a whopping $563 for a 3-pound package going internationally to Columbia. However, I was fortunate enough to utilize a 50% off coupon, which brought the final price down to $254.58. Upon visiting the Pickering location, I diligently filled out all the necessary information and was assured that my parcel would be delivered within five days. However, to my dismay, the package was not delivered until the sixth day. But that's not even the worst part - the person delivering the parcel had the audacity to ask for payment upon delivery! Nowhere was I informed by Purolator that I needed to pay an additional fee when the package was delivered. After already shelling out $254 for a measly 3-pound package, this unexpected demand for payment was absolutely outrageous and unacceptable. To add insult to injury, it is now December 9th, and my package still hasn't been delivered. I have spoken to four different individuals at Purolator, and each one of them has shown a complete lack of accountability and willingness to take responsibility for the package not being delivered. I implore you, dear readers, to not make the same mistake I did by entrusting your valuable packages to Purolator. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and exorbitant costs. Instead, consider alternative options such as purchasing a plane ticket, which may actually prove to be cheaper and more reliable. Purolator, you have failed miserably in providing the basic service that your customers expect. Your incompetence, lack of transparency, and refusal to take responsibility for your mistakes are simply unacceptable. I will never use your services again, and I strongly advise others to do the same.

    There was at least 7 people with orders in the office. She (Asian lady, sorry didnā€™t catch the name) was handling everyone at the same time. It was absolutely amazing to see and experience. Somehow I was out of there in 3 minutes best purolator office around.

    Purolator consistently disappoints. Please update your policies to allow drivers to leave packages in lobbies or outside doors. You are so far behind Amazon. Itā€™s incredibly frustrating having to deal with your services.

    Got delivery to Oshawa, and was not home so they took package to pickering for pickup, now costing me 1.5 hours of time and 10 bucks or so for gas. literally no point in delivery as store I was ordering from was in oshawa. beware they only have 1 pickup location in durham region

    Asked for package to be redelivered as it required signature and we were unavailable during original attempt however this location sent package back to warehouse without notification and when I called for an update the agent was coming up with excuses and trying to blame sender.

    This delivery service only delivers during work hours to my neighbourhood. When a package requires a signature it means I need to travel to their main depot, which is nearly 50 km from where I live. In most cases this means it is more convenient for me to drive to the place where an item was originally shipped from, or an alternative retail location to purchase an item in store, than it is for me to drive to the purolator depot. This is a ridiculous expectation, and the poor quality of service is something I would consider before ever shipping with this company.

    Delivery failed because the item was too heavy, the estimated weight is 13.5 lbs. The customer service agent I spoke with was confused by this and said maybe they scanned it wrong. She said the GPS showed he scanned this in my area around 2:30, yet my security camera shows no one attempting to drop anything off. Just great service all around from you guys.

    I didn't have a problem picking up my delivery. I see many people complaining. But some forget the logistics of this business is very complex and patience is required. Whether you're shipping or receiving. It will be successful in the end.

    Went to pickup an item that wasnā€™t left at my door. Received a text. When I got there I noticed a curb side option where you can call which was great because I had a sleeping baby in the car. No one answers the phone. I called several times and left a message but nothing. So I then went in. The lady asked if I had a pin and my response was no and she hastily replied that I needed a pin and moved on to the next person. I was upset at the response I got especially since I donā€™t pick up parcels often and wasnā€™t aware that they couldnā€™t find a package with my name or number. I responded that I would check for the pin and asked her name. I was so upset about how I was treated. After that she said sheā€™d check the back by my name and was over the top nice but I shouldnā€™t have to go through that to get kind service. I had to drive 30 minutes to pickup a catalog and get rude service. The company should really rethink who stands at the front desk because they represent you and if they canā€™t handle the stress they shouldnā€™t be in that position. Iā€™m not one to get upset quickly nor do I ever leave reviews like this but Iā€™m so baffled by this experience.

    Discourteous staff, vey disrespectful to customers especially seniors as I watched the seniors in front of me belittled and rudely treated as if they were idiots when in fact they were asking very pertinent questions. As I approached for help with the stupid self serve Amazon return debacle, the staff berated me for not knowing the computer! Iā€™m a computer programmer btw. I am at the point of not using Amazon again for my orders as the return process is 1000 Timā€™s worse than Canadian Tires Return Inquisition. Terrible business. Obviously purolator staff are unionized and not afraid of being fired because in private business is an employee behaved as this place, they would be fired or at least removed from public contact.

    The call I had with them was fine but wrong instructions were given and when the driver arrived to pick up my package, he could not take it. I was working at the time and it created unnecessary frustration having wasted the driver's time and mine.

    Terrible customer service at The Squires Beach Road location in Pickering. I dropped off my parcel one week ago and it has still NOT been picked up. Does it usually take one week for an item to be picked up at this location? That's terrible! I tried calling customer service and they do not answer the phone Wished Amazon would have used UPS instead for returns!!

    I went to Pickering purolator with 2 parcels to send and the girl started helping me with the first parcel but after that she jumped to another customer leaving me abandoned waiting to send my second parcel. Terrible customer service.

    I wish we all had choices to pickup the courier service a thing gets delivered from. Two packages from the same place - requiring signature were sent to me. One was said as address not not, and other was marked as owner not at home - a simple knock at the door might have helped. And since the packages were being delivered to my mailing address, I stayed there from 8am to 9pm two days to find I can't get any packages from Purolator. Now I've to go twice to their location to pickup. What a sad affair of mismanagement from the company. And their tag line says "it's a promise." What a joke!!!!

    Terrible service. If sending to U.S use UPS or FedEx. Purolator in U.S uses third party service to deliver (UPS). The employee at the desk put the wrong address on the paperwork, when I went back to have him correct it, he just wrote on the paperwork & said itā€™s ok, a new label will be printed with correct address. The package was held up in Customs and after a week it was finally released & delivered to the wrong address ( a new label was not printed). My son has not received the package as of yet because it went to wrong address. I also paid for overnight delivery service, delivered before 9am. $145 thatā€™s with 1/2 price discount for Holiday service. Never again

    Absolutely outstanding service so helpful. I was in the parking lot in the handicapped spot and on my way to the trunk to get out my walker. An agent approached me and asked receiving or shipping. I told her as per return instructions on an Amazon, email, I was returning an item. She then said do you have your QR return code? I advised it was on my phone, she then said just stay in your car , and when you have it we will just scan for you so you do not have to come in she then went around my car to the passenger side and picked up the item . Well another agent then came out and took a photo of the QR code from my phone, then in a few minutes the first Agent brought me out a Purolator return receipt all finished . They went out of their way to be more than helpful to me and so very personable and pleasant. Wonderful Service
