I
never
post
reviews
about
businesses.
But
I
couldn’t
resist
not
posting
about
my
current
experience
with
Chit
Chats.
I
have
been
shipping
with
this
company
since
2016.
Have
seen
this
company
grow
from
one
small
location
to
many.
While
their
cross
border
shipping
rates
are
good,
I
find
their
package
return
fees
outrageous.
What
used
to
cost
$3
went
up
to
$5
and
now
$7.
How
is
this
helpful
to
small
businesses
when
their
returned
package
is
almost
always
due
to
usps
errors?!
How
can
a
usps
package
be
marked
with
insufficient
address
when
the
customer
claims:
that’s
how
they
always
write
their
address?
God
forbid
I
have
to
prove
this
point
to
chitchats.
The
outrages
$7
return
fee
boggles
my
mind.
Why,
because
if
you
compare
this
fee
to
the
price
you
actually
pay
chitchats
for
dropping
off
your
package
to
usps,
it
makes
NO
sense.
I
can
understand
if
they
want
to
charge
for
fuel.
But
even
then,
their
trucks
have
to
return
to
Canada
to
continue
their
business.
They
have
to
have
a
warehouse
in
the
US
to
operate
from
the
US.
Chitchats
should
have
an
undelivered
package
returned
back
to
business
owners
for
FREE.
It
makes
sense
to
charge
a
return
fee
if
the
package
is
actually
being
returned
by
the
customer.
But
not
when
the
customer
never
received
the
product.
As
a
small
business
owner,
i
have
to
pay
usps
again
to
re-ship
my
package
and
pay
chitchats
$7.
In
a
situation
like
this,
one
will
nearly
spend
$20
to
just
ship
something
to
a
customer.
The
returned
packages
due
to
insufficient
address
is
labelled
with
a
sticker
by
usps.
Usps
does
not
charge
a
dime
to
return
a
package
to
chitchat’s
US
address.
Unfortunately,
this
sort
of
situation
only
leaves
us
with
2
choices.
Either
have
our
product
disposed
or
pay
to
have
it
back.
God
forbid
I
have
a
Canadian
return.
I
will
have
pay
the
exact
same
price
as
the
shipping
label
purchased.
I
don’t
understand
why
I
cannot
use
my
own
address
for
Canadian
returns?
90%
of
my
returns
thus
far
has
been
due
to
errors
by
shipping
companies.
I
have
always
paid
the
related
fees
considering
it
part
of
owning
a
business.
But
now
it
is
getting
out
of
hand.
Lately,
there
has
been
so
many
unexplainable
issues
with
their
cross
borders
drop
offs.
At
least
12
of
my
packages
had
no
update
after
leaving
Canada
for
3
weeks.
Mind
you,
chit
chats
will
not
take
any
responsibility
for
a
lost
package
that
never
even
made
it
to
New
York
to
be
handed
over
to
usps
even
though
there
are
a
series
scans
prior
to
crossing
the
boarder.
To
take
this
responsibility
off
their
shoulders,
they
encourage
you
to
buy
their
insurance
which
increases
the
per
item
shipping
costs.
Forget
reimbursing
you
for
your
loss.
They
will
pull
every
single
excuse
to
not
waive
their
return
shipping
fees
or
get
your
label
refunded
by
usps.
This
company
grew
because
of
small
businesses.
Now
they’ve
found
a
way
to
milk
businesses
for
every
single
penny
that
they
can.
There
is
no
system
in
place
to
call
a
location
near
you
directly.
It
takes
at
least
3
mins
via
phone
to
direct
your
call
to
the
location
you
want
to
reach.
I
am
definitely
on
the
look
out
for
another
company
to
work
with.
I
have
given
this
company
thousands
of
shipments.
Time
to
take
this
business
elsewhere.
