I have been using chitchats for a couple years now. Never again. I dropped off a package for one of my customers and shortly after received an email stating they won't send it as it's restricted (have they had listened to me they'd realize it was not). When I asked how they even knew it was a restricted item they told me they opened my package. First off, this is a massive invasion of privacy, but im more concerned about what I am sending being stolen at this point (to which their insurance will not cover). As of this review, it's been a week and I still don't have my refund of $38.xx for the shipping price. Used to be a great service, now employees just open your packages and decide what theyre going to send or not. Switched to another company which so far has been very good.

Always responsive, and welcoming upon every visit! I enjoy the environment here. Their prices are unbeatable and service reliable. However, their insurance provider is a nightmare to deal with, I started not insuring my packages at all because the process took about 6 months to fulfill a claim. I didn’t receive the full amount of the item that was lost in transit. Checks were only issued in USD which became an issue when I tried to cash with my bank, had to receive a wire transfer instead which lengthened the process. My item was $150 and only received $70 back for the item. I tried to escalate the issue with the insurance company but nothing could be done.

Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without this place (well technically I do know, and that is I would be crying at the mercy of CP's higher prices). They've saved me hundreds of dollars in shipping rates and I feel very lucky that this is a fairly accessible and convenient location. I prefer self-serve in general so it was very easy for me to make an account, set everything up online, print my shipping labels and just do a contactless drop off in their bins. Of course the staff are available there to answer any questions. I think the only unfortunate encounter I had was when I would often ship cards and mark the label type as 'postcard', but I was later told that type of label only applies to actual postcards and not postcards sealed in an envelope, so I lost a small bit of money and time having to redo them (and you can't refund letter mail labels). It's weird since I had already shipped some that way and nothing went wrong. I also notice they make regular updates on their site so maybe a note clarifying these label types would help. Otherwise I'm always so happy with their service and it's very easy to keep track of shipments online.

Update your hours. Drove 20 mins to drop Off a large batch. Hours say Sunday 9 am to 1 pm but arrived at 12 and doors locked. Waste of my time.

Very bad place to work. Lie through their teeth, will ignore giving employees benefits they deserve through other lies and deciet. Also may come in one day and all your vacations gone and your not paid for it. 🤷 also heard a manager tell a worker they were using their step parents cancer as an excuse. Very disgusting thing to say. 0 star is not an option :( Use stallion. Workers are paid alot more and being happier with that, will probably care about your products more!

Excellent service providing domestic USPS rates with trouble free border crossing and super fast delivery times! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Warning! Entrance to the building doesn't have an automatic door so it's difficult to open if your hands are full (because there's a step to get in so using a cart isn't possible) and a long walk down the mall hallway.

To date, I have had 204 shipments through Chit Chats from just under a year of shipping. They have better prices on many shipments, and certain shipments they are equal priced to Canada Post but offer tracking. In those European small shipments they are much slower to deliver but offer tracking. They have a 98% delivery rate for me. I had an international shipment lost for which they did not have insurance and tracking showed no further movement. As of February 1 I had an additional problem with about 5 of my shipments. Some items where lost and others finally made it to their destination more than a month later from Canada to USA. Insurance from chitchats does not cover delays so I reshipped some items at the buyers request to not risk negative feedback or chargebacks. Check these shipments to make your own judgement. USPS (420941179274890227365638568154) 1 month delay. Check these ones, the original shipment to my customer (insurance denied) 420794079274890227365638464081 , and my reshipment also stuck or delayed (420794079274890227365641585711). Regardless of their fine print the reality is that this person has not received his ebay item in over a month and as a seller I've lost money on two packages, still no delivery date in sight, and insurance will not cover these because they denied the claims as "delays" are not covered. Another denied claim since its just a delay. Shipped with USPS tracking 420972309261290227365641585722 February 19. Another delayed item by more than a month which they denied an insurance claim (420972309261290227365637847544). Here's one still not delivered since January, denied (420851229261290227365636132399) Be the judge yourselves on these cases above. Although the prices are good and they have generally a good delivery rate, their insurance is a bit useless. I didn't have tracking on my Canada Post shipments for over a decade (airmail for small packages) but they rarely were this delayed and almost never lost (returned back to me usually). I wish I could give a 5 for their new cheaper services with tracking which put us (Canada) on par with the Americans and Europeans to be able to provide tracking to customers on small shipments which was not an option with Canada Post. These instances recently have made me realize ChitChats tracking may not be as worth it - what's the point at looking at a number (tracking) that never moves. What's the point to have insurance if it wont cover delays. Again be your own judge and search my public USPS tracking numbers provided above. Nothing here is unfactual.

Chitchats is an utter godsend for shipping in general but has saved me hundreds when dealing with UK, EU or US parcels while providing complete tracking solutions for rates lower than I'd pay for some bottom-dollar untracked sends from other common-name companies. The web-portal for managing shipments, tracking, etc. is top class and neither the tracking page nor the shipping in general have ever given any of my clients issues. Smooth as can be In addition to this, their online support (knowledgebase) and phone support are great too. All agents very knowledgeable and kind I wholeheartedly recommend their service to everyone I can, especially smaller online vendors. Straight up haven't found anything better or more convenient and easy to use, thank you so much Chitchats!

Great place , better prices , but the signing up and in and all the other stuff inline is a hassle , ended up going to Canada post anyway and paid $2 more was worth it at the time.

Online business using them for almost 2 years. Professional, good service and most importantly humble and friendly staff. No issues whatsoever. DO NOT ATTEMPT THEIR COMPETITION - STALLION. Lose your item with Stallion and say goodbye to your insurance because Stallion will never own up and pay up.

Can't say enough good things about this company and its wonderful staff. I've been using their services for years now and they have always delivered highly dependable, friendly and affordable service. Thank you, Chit Chats! Don't know what I'd do without you!

Chitchats has been a lifesaver for my small business. Instead of paying $15 with Canada post, i am pay a fraction of that at $5-7 each shipment. Shipping the states delivers faster than me shipping within Canada, if you can believe that.

I only found out about this alternative recently and it's already saved me money. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Their website is also extremely easy to navigate across to create labels and their tracking system is top notch as well.

I never post reviews about businesses. But I couldn’t resist not posting about my current experience with Chit Chats. I have been shipping with this company since 2016. Have seen this company grow from one small location to many. While their cross border shipping rates are good, I find their package return fees outrageous. What used to cost $3 went up to $5 and now $7. How is this helpful to small businesses when their returned package is almost always due to usps errors?! How can a usps package be marked with insufficient address when the customer claims: that’s how they always write their address? God forbid I have to prove this point to chitchats. The outrages $7 return fee boggles my mind. Why, because if you compare this fee to the price you actually pay chitchats for dropping off your package to usps, it makes NO sense. I can understand if they want to charge for fuel. But even then, their trucks have to return to Canada to continue their business. They have to have a warehouse in the US to operate from the US. Chitchats should have an undelivered package returned back to business owners for FREE. It makes sense to charge a return fee if the package is actually being returned by the customer. But not when the customer never received the product. As a small business owner, i have to pay usps again to re-ship my package and pay chitchats $7. In a situation like this, one will nearly spend $20 to just ship something to a customer. The returned packages due to insufficient address is labelled with a sticker by usps. Usps does not charge a dime to return a package to chitchat’s US address. Unfortunately, this sort of situation only leaves us with 2 choices. Either have our product disposed or pay to have it back. God forbid I have a Canadian return. I will have pay the exact same price as the shipping label purchased. I don’t understand why I cannot use my own address for Canadian returns? 90% of my returns thus far has been due to errors by shipping companies. I have always paid the related fees considering it part of owning a business. But now it is getting out of hand. Lately, there has been so many unexplainable issues with their cross borders drop offs. At least 12 of my packages had no update after leaving Canada for 3 weeks. Mind you, chit chats will not take any responsibility for a lost package that never even made it to New York to be handed over to usps even though there are a series scans prior to crossing the boarder. To take this responsibility off their shoulders, they encourage you to buy their insurance which increases the per item shipping costs. Forget reimbursing you for your loss. They will pull every single excuse to not waive their return shipping fees or get your label refunded by usps. This company grew because of small businesses. Now they’ve found a way to milk businesses for every single penny that they can. There is no system in place to call a location near you directly. It takes at least 3 mins via phone to direct your call to the location you want to reach. I am definitely on the look out for another company to work with. I have given this company thousands of shipments. Time to take this business elsewhere.

It is great they are open Sundays 9-1. It is beyond frustrating showing up on Sundays only to see them closed and having to call Markham to be told no one bothered showing up and no update was sent out to let customers know it would be closed. This has happened twice now in past few months.

😠 If I could rate this place zero I would. I went there at 7:30pm. It showed that they are open till 9pm online but when I went the staff, middle aged with short hair mentioned that she was closed. I asked her if there was any other office open till 9pm and her reply was " I donn't know anymore" with...
