Love Michaels. Sadly there aren't any near where i live (closed) so i went to this location instead. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and good selection of arts and crafts type items. I went to Michaels to pass time before my doctor's appointment. I enjoy wandering through the aisles, where they have unique items related to the current season. As someone who loves arts and crafts, the store is a goldmine of creative supplies with a wide variety to explore. Interestingly, Michaels caters to different interests. Even bakers can find plenty of relevant materials. The staff at Michaels enhance the experience. They're friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. This adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the visit. It's a delightful way to spend time exploring things that match your interests. Additionally, Michaels often has many items on sale, making the experience even more appealing. It's a great way to maximize your time while enjoying your passions.

A smaller Michaels store but well stocked and always interesting. Great for ideas and they always have something on sale. The staff adds to the creative ideas. Don't be shy to ask. I was able to find ONE frame for an odd size!

I order all my picture frames here. Before when in store I'd have to search the whole pile to get one good one. I've ordered 8 frames sice the lockdowns and curbside pickups... All 8 have been flawless free of defects. I'm impressed!

I always like Michael's this time a little frustrating when prices were not marked on a lot of the Christmas stock. Made the shopping experience more lengthy than it should have been.

I really dislike this location. They don't offer the flyer or coupons and aren't very friendly for the most part. They are also always low in yarn stock, only receiving some shipments after 4 and 5 months (they receive on Wednesday, I check and call very regularly and they are usually completely sold out of the yarn I need.

I love shopping at Michael's but their whole 'Red Heart' yarn section is gone now. There was only a tiny rack of their specialty yarns & in small amounts.

There's always lots of great stuff but it's ridiculously expensive there. Using their discounts just brings the price down to what it should be in the first place

I’ve never had a good experience here, and every time I go to michaels (out of necessity), I am quickly reminded why I stay away. Today was particularly bad. Staff are not knowledgable and rude. I asked someone general questions and got attitude back like my questions were too much work to answer, and I got told to check the emails over and over again. If I am there and looking for information from a human, it’s probably because I couldn’t find it online. Telling me over and over to check the email, and an attitude like it is so bothersome for her to do her job, that’s rude and lazy. Michael’s is not a real art supply store. The staff don’t know anything about anything. Product is scarce and limited in selection. Overpriced at least $3-4 over what it sells in a real art store for. The only reason I am ever here is because there are no art stores in the suburbs, and to drive 40 min each way to where there is one, is not always plausible. All of the Curry’s have closed, and we are stuck with Michaels which is a joke, especially this location. I recommend going to DeSerres or Above Ground instead, if you find yourself closer to the city. The staff there are knowledgable and actually WILLING to help.

A good location. They sell out of seasonal stuff fast, but there is always a good deal to be had.

My husband didn't check the date of a baking product he grabbed and it was already expired. He didn't think to grab a receipt. He went back to exchange it 2 hours later... How can you ask for a 20% restocking fee with a straight face even though it and every other same product on the shelf is already expired? The employees did their best to be helpful but the strictness of the policy is absurd

This is a very small location and they only offer a limited about of their products here. Things are disorganized and overall very drab. Location at Kennedy Commons much better.

I love this store. It always has everything I need. I do crafts as a hobby and I love coming here when they have sales on. The store is clean and well laid out. I also order online quite frequently and have never had a problem. The staff are very helpful.

Nice selection was well organized, but prices were very high for most products. Some gems to be found , although it took a lot of searching. Clearance sections are probably best if looking for a good price.

Always such great sales and so many things to choose from.

Online order pick up is a bit lacking. I did not find any signage as to what I’m supposed to do or where to go to pick up my prepaid online order. As well, the website states that online orders should be ready in 2 hours. Mine took about 2.5 hours. Not the worst, but a bit disappointing when I’m trying to plan my day and my errands. Store was large, well spaced, well stocked, and clean. Perhaps they were understaffed this day.

It's a Michaels, so it's not different from the others in terms of stock and set up. What sets it apart is the staff who are always willing and happy to help. Everytime I go I get asked by every employee that I encounter if I need some help or if I'm ok. I appreciate this compared to most big box stores where they try their best to avoid and not make contact. Great job!

It wasn't me. My wife is addicted to crocheting and Michael's is the drug dealer. Yarn is my wifes crack... damn you Michael's, your inexpensive yarn is ... Wait a minute youre keeping my wife quiet and out of my hair.... Thank you, keep up the great work.

We just came in and had a great experience getting some vases we needed for an upcoming engagement party. The kind associate at the store today was able to look up other stores that had more stock. She was so helpful and courteous! Thank you!

Nancy at the Pickering location at 1101-A Kingston Road was extremely helpful and patient. I needed some guidance and assistance with purchasing a frame for my brother’s wedding and flowers to decorate the frame. She showed me all the options and helped check another store for inventory which is very kind of her. She also walked me through the selections and explained all the options thoroughly. When assembling it today the lights did not work. I took it back to the store and they reassembled it for me and fixed the problem .
