Wild Pink orchids, bright red wild berries, wind whistling through long untamed grass mixed with white, yellow and purple flowers and pine trees. The sound of waves crashing against sandy cliffs. Falcons and ravens circling high up in the sky. All these elements compose the South-side of the paved hiking trail, and make for a remarkably beautiful trail that is ideal for walking, cycling, rollerblading, and running. On the North side near the beginning, in addition to all of the previously mentioned elements, there is an industrial complex at a distance that is fenced off. There is also a beautiful hill. Quick Tip: if you decide to Trail off from the main paved trail to reach the shoreline, its best to wear a long sleeved shirt, pants, and shoes. The side-trails are beautiful but crowded with dense and bushy vegetation. Quick Tip: this trail finds all of its character on a windy, grey, and cold day of September.

Much quieter and more peaceful than the public parks in the area. I believe that there are a good variety of birds and wildlife, but they are not as accustomed to the presence of people as those say at Lynde Shores. You will hear lots of birds, and if you are patient and bring binoculars you will probably see some, but don't expect them to get very close to you. They are really wild birds here, not tamed by thousands of people coming to feed them.

I didn't go all the way but it's still a quaint peaceful walk. Lots of wild flowers and bird sounds. Nice place if you live close by.

This is beautiful and extensive walking/ cycling/ hiking trail. You get to see scenic views of Ontario Lake throughout the trail and there are benches where you can rest or sit and enjoy the view. There are some secret spots where you can click few pictures and enjoy in peace, self reflect and be yourself. This is a very calming and relaxing trail with information maps and ways along the route. It's a must go natural conserved place.

Super accessible. Stroller, bike, wheelchair, walker you name it. The path starting here going west is suberb. With lots of benches and rest bays to get out of the way.

One of my favourite spots to decompress and connect with nature. Leave the cell phone in the car and just go for a walk and listen to nature and enjoy the sights and sounds. Great all year round, careful in the winter, sometimes some slippery areas. Keep your eyes to the tops of the trees, you might just get lucky and see an Owl or two! 🦉

Beautiful park with trails that branch out by the water. Make sure you go off the main paved area to explore more isolated areas.

Great spot for a family walk (but bring a nose plug for going past the sewage treatment plant!). The chickadees will eat from your hands if you bring some sunflower seeds. Relatively flat and a variety of scenery.

Love running and walking here! So quiet and pretty. You feel like you've escaped to a remote area. Well maintained, and people seem to follow the rules and not litter the place.

It's seems like a great spot for biking or even running, but not so much for a nature walk. The trail is paved and laned for bikes. My family and I prefer shaded, dirt path, forested trails and this one was not it. Maybe we just didn't go far enough in, or don't know the right spots but we found very little forest and wildlife which I was surprised by, given previous reviews. The paving seems new and well maintained.

Great for walks or biking, very easy so good for all ages. The trail goes all the way down to the Whitby waterfront area. The park is a good spot if you want to picnic. And is nice during the fall as well!

One of my favotite places to go for a walk and enjoy the local nature. Nice and peaceful. This is private & protected so please remember as your walking to stay on the marked trails & take your garbage with you. Leave nothing but footprints.
