Unfortunately another bad shawarma restaurant, honestly not sure why can they just make a simple sandwich! You put pickles that seems from the bottom of the jar! Your beef sandwich was 5cm in width and chicken was so dry and fries are almost over cooked . We have wasted $35 and will never go back!

Probably the best shawarma joint in Durham! Fresh ingredients with high quality meat (chicken breast!!!), clean location, amazing customer service. And the daily meals are incredible! Can't wait to be back.

Super clean. Great staff who REALLY show care in every wrap prepared. I ordered both the mixed wrap and the mixed meat on rice and both were great. I think the wrap was the real winner but both great. Hot sauce not hot like other shawarma places so you can be generous. Worth the travel to this gem of a spot.

This place had terrific schwarma wraps. The ingredients are fresh, the pita is great and the chicken was well cooked. I liked how he keeps the sandwich on the grill for longer thanost places. It gives it a crispy bite and means the meat is good and hot. You can tell the owner really cares about the food and his customers. It's clean and nice decor. The tables have good spacing and high ceilings for those concerned. Prices are good.

Newly opened in Pickering Area. Very spacious, has big windows and the restaurant looks neat and clean. The chef was very friendly, and he gave us exactly how we wanted the shawarma. I have been to other shawarma royal franchises in GTA and this is is really good. I got the King Shawarma Meal and chicken was cooked to perfection and the wrap was crunchy yet soft. The lady at the counter was also very patient and nice. Definitely coming back here again!

I was really excited to try this place as it recently opened up in my area, but the slow service was really disappointing. I was out running some errands on the Saturday afternoon and decided to stop by here to get a shawarma wrap for lunch. Usually, when ordered from a fast casual restaurant, the orders are made within a pretty fast window of time, but here the time it took from me to order and actually receive my food was more than 20min for one single wrap. I decided to go with the Queen Chicken Wrap, which is a bit smaller than the King Wrap, but a bit larger than the Prince Chicken Wrap. The wrap was pretty good, but the options they had for toppings wasn't much, so I was slightly disappointed. Overall, the staff were kind and tried their best, but based on the food and slow service, I don't think I will be back. Something to note, is that this style of shawarma is Syrian style which means they use a different type of pita bread and add pomegranate molasses to their dishes.

New shawarma place in Pickering and it doesn’t disappoint. Had the falafel meal and it was very filling. I also like how they wrap the falafel in the pita bread and than in saj bread. Definitely coming back here!

Dog Food. Don’t be fooled by the newly renovated interior. This is not my first time ordering from Shawarma Royale but it Is my last time that I will be disappointed with the tasteless food, disgruntled, unorganized, extremely slow and unequipped staff. Today I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and as you can see from the photo, this is not worth the $14 price tag. When I first saw this place open it I hoped it would be the new shawarma spot that Pickering so desperately needs. On my first visit here, I witnessed the one staff in pyjamas pants, not wearing a hairnet and sweating profusely due to the heat of the kitchen but I was nowhere near as revolted when I saw the staff wipe the sweat from their forehead and proceed to shave the chicken from the skewer. My final comments, if you’re expecting the best then expect to be extremely disappointed.

What elevated packaging for takeout shawarma! I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is the packaging luxe but so is the food! The kebab is delicious, would highly recommend! We got the shawarma platter as well and found portions to be very generous. The meats are nice and juicy and wraps are not too dry. Would not hesitate to order from Shawarma Royale again.

The food was AMAZING!!! Have tried other locations but this one, the best so far. The staff were really patient and friendly. The store, clean with plenty of seating so bring a friend or your family and come check out this location. Got a Queen beef and lamb wrap as well as a Royal mix wrap. Was made to perfection. The wrap was the perfect amount of crisp with such juicy and flavourful meat. And they didn’t disappoint with packing it - were very generous with the meat, toppings as well as sauces. Definitely coming back for more 😊

Introducing Shawrma Royale, they specialize in a type of shawarma called "Saj Shawarmas". In the shawarma world, the Saj shawarma is king. Toasted and crunchy on the outside, filled with meat and goodness on the inside, it's everything you want from a meal that was designed to hit hunger where it hurts. The Saj shawarma is as simple and straightforward as they come, just meat some creamy garlic and pickles, that's it! the design of the sandwich is meant to elevate the flavor of the meat its filled with! And adding toppings other than what it comes with masks a lot of the flavor of the meat but to each their own and Shawarma Royale does give you the options of adding more toppings if that's the way you like to eat your shawarma. All in all, it's nice to finally see a new style of shawarma enter the scene, if you love shawarma head on down to Shawarma Royale for some variety and taste the Saj for yourself! The restaurant was very clean the staff were friendly and the food was great. 5 stars.

I have ordered before take out via Skip but first time coming in to order to take away. The Falafel wrap here slaps hard, cooked perfectly! The restaurant itself is spotless and immaculate. Definitely will be back again soon. Service was very fast as well. Update - No matter the time of day you order this location prepares your food with all the love and make you feel at home. Incredible service and food was so delicious. It was really nice that they asked after how my meal was. Such a loving, friendly energy plus the environment is super clean. Portion size for the Queen Beef and Lamb Wrap was bigger than I expected, which was awesome. Great price value. I love what they also did with the wrap. So crisp! Perfect texture. I've never had it like that before. Really nice touch. Thank you for such a great experience. I was really craving shawarma haha!

We went to this place for the second time and we are very pleased with the service. First time we got individual wraps, which was amazing and that’s what made us go back tonight. We got the chicken box this time. Kids loved it!!! Thanks to the chef who made it, it was awesome and yummy. Thx for adding the extras 😊 and all 4 us couldn’t finish it at all. Leftovers for tomorrow 🤭🤭 We would definitely go back to this place and highly recommend💗

Was worth the wait time. (A bit slow) However, the presentation is beautiful and generous and I really loved that they gave hot sauce at the side! Friendly staff too. I’m not from Pickering but if I do pass by I’ll be sure to stop here. In the picture: chicken on rice

I love shawarma and really wanted to like this place. But from the start it didn't go so well. They have different sizes of wrap, i.e. King, queen, etc but when I asked for a reference or what the difference was, the cashier couldn't be bothered to help me. The person making the wrap was nicer but the cashier made me feel like 'why are you here?'. Overall the taste wasn't too bad and the portion size was a bit smaller than I was expecting.

We were looking for a local Middle Eastern restaurant to try some shawarmas. We stumbled upon this restaurant located in a plaza close to the Home Depot. We had a coupon 2 can dine Queen wraps for $19.99 which included a large serving of fries and 2 drinks. The place was not busy when we arrived to order takeout however the turn around time for the orders was way too long. Most likely the business is running on skeleton staff or unable to fill kitchen help positions. The wraps were delicious and the bread they use is made in house. You can taste the difference between grocery store pita. The chicken was seasoned well and the garlic sauce was just right. Fries were similar to Costco so nothing to write home about. They did give us a garlic dipping sauce which is most likely for the wrap. I would come back again to try other wraps on the menu. Follow me on IG whenhungerstrikes17

Horrible sense of running a restaurant, I ordered the filial wrap from the vegetarian section. Being a pure veg I had to ask them to change their gloves that was constantly touching various meats before making my wrap. This should have been common knowledge They did change the gloves but then they continued and put the wrap on the same grill with all the meat wraps. I felt horrible, and could not even taking a bite of food covered with meat fat, so I ended up throwing the entire wrap. Absolute disrespect to vegetarians

It's was good, but still missing test of Mediterranean people, such as Arab or Turkish...Shawarma no one can make it perfect such as them... Afghan greatest people and Afghans Nan kebab is the best around the world not Shawarma.. The design for making the food was wonderful 100% .. Test is is 60%. Service 100%. A bit pricey, you can get some thing in Oshawa for less than 25 % All the best..

I finally made it to Shawarma Royale in Pickering and it was well worth the wait! The interior felt a lot more spacious that it appears from outside. It was also nice and clean. Everything on their menu looked good but I chose their Chicken Shawarma dinner. It was a generous serving of delicious flavours and colours. Sadly, however, it got bounced around on the way home and didn't end up being very camera ready. It tasted great though! The service was very friendly and accommodating. I'll be back!

They wrap up the swarma more like a roll, cut it up in 4 or 5 chunks, it's different and I like the way they do it. The pita is nice and crispy. Fries also nice and crispy, not oily.

By far my worst shawarma experience in my life yesterday. I asked for tomatoes, onions, lettuce, turnip can someone spot all those items in the picture cause I couldn’t. The guy doing the wraps hates his job and has a terrible attitude. Chicken was cold. Do the franchise a favour and shut this location down. Waste of $13

The Queen shawarma was authentic middle Eastern style with pickles as well. Falafels were provided hot and fresh. Service was impeccable . And owners have spend a good amount on location and decor inside. Definitely will come back again

Pretty place. Liked the king wrap, will go back for that. The chicken shawarma was good, but not enough fries or pita. Also missed the hummus.
