This place was&is great. 2 great employees greeted andrew&I and also helped me find my vaccination forms on.my email account (use search "dose"). I bought $10 in coins, lasted approx 2 hours ... So much fun bringing back memories from the 1980s. Also has lots of different hot dogs, drinks & even alcohal. Many booths with your own console to play while eating. Located south west corner of brock street and dundas (hgwy2). I had the banana mocha expreso (decaf as we were there 8-10)

Good coffee and games, although a little surprised that pinball machines were 3 tokens for 1 play. Would come again if I'm in the area!

I planned a surprise birthday party for my wife and part of the surprise was for her and all her buds was to go to 8 Bits. She said is was a blast from the past and all her friends loved the experience! There is a wide variety of arcade games and video game themed drinks for people over 19. It played off all her nostalgic memories as a kid and she loved it. The only thing I would suggest is adding some more modern arcade games that would appeal to a younger generation. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Great set up. The coffee was great, games are all in good working order. And if you do have a coin eaten the staff replace it for you no questions asked. Wasn't too busy when we went (around 6:30pm) and it was very kid friendly. Barista even made my kids' hot chocolates to a child appropriate temperature.

I love going to this place. I grew up in a time when arcades were starting to be phased out so it's nice to be able to enjoy this experience. The staff is great and they have a wide variety of games to play so you'll definitely find something you like. Coffee and drink selection is also on point. A+

Fantastic little arcade. Old school and new school mixed games. Galaga, space invaders and some Pac Man arcades are hidden in a dark light den. Super cool. Not the cheapest of places for gaming but totally worth the nostalgia. Kids played for at least an hour. Me too! The people were great too. The machines ate a couple tokens and they just gave us what went missing or fixed the machines. Definitely going to find some time to get back there.

Tokens are really expensive. Games personally unless you are a big pinball guy are pretty lack luster. Drinks have cool names and taste pretty good which is a possitive but this is not a open bar as you cant order any drink. The food options are very lack luster that being said this is not a food place and has limitations; Popcorn was surprisingly a big portion which was a plus. Staff were very friendly. Review is subjective your mileage may vary I went mostly as my friend is more into retro gaming arcade. For Retro prob one on strongest locally unless you want to go into Toronto; I used to like Balacade in more cottage country. Air hockey/ basketball hoop games or ticket based games would be welcome.

Such a fun spot to have a great cup of coffee or a drink and some tasty food while relaxing or playing some old style arcade games that bring back all the nostalgic 80's feels!! The atmosphere was fun and relaxing and the service was fantastic. I went with my kids and they loved playing some of the pinball and video games too. They also had food..my daughter had a pb & nutella sandwich and she loved it. I'd definitely go back, maybe next time in the evening next time for some drinks!! This time I had a cheesecake latte and it was delicious!!

Service was great but some very nice staff, drinks are amazing and well priced and their food was also very good. The atmosphere is a retro gamers Hevan and just a great place to hang.

Shhhh, don't tell anyone about this place! It's quietly awesome. From the old video game ads papering the place to arcade quality food, everything is aligned perfectly for a retro evening that will both create great memories, and bring back the great old ones.

I took the family there for our first time. The atmosphere was nice, and the people working there were great. The problem I had was that a lot of the games we tried were not working properly. Either the joy sticks were not functioning 100%, or It ate our coins. The staff were helpful if our coins got taken, and couldn't play.

Welcome to the 90s ! The games are maintained well and the staff is so so amazing! This is a go to place to unwind and just let the child inside of you have fun 😝 they also have sides and drinks.

So cool! We will be returning. The kids loved it, we spent a few hours here enjoying the games and food.

Really great atmosphere here! I feel transported back to the 90's! The only unfortunate thing is the grilled cheese was made with American cheese and felt really cheap. To it's credit I think it was trying to emulate when your mom would make you grilled cheese as a kid. That being said, the drinks are too *die* for! The latte I tried was overwhelming sweet and I love that, but be aware I suppose. Anyway eat before coming, but otherwise have a great time playing retro arcade games! (Hint: the pinball machines balls are heavy, you need to hit the buttons with decent force to move the ball with the flippers properly)

Maia and Stacey are absolutely AMAZING!! Honestly every staff member is fantastic but they have a special place in my heart 🫶🏻The space is clean and welcoming, the food is delicious and the drinks are to die for! 10/10 would recommend coming here to anyone that visits Whitby 🥳💕 Also the best part is that they’re LGBTQ+ friendly and women owned so come support your local businesses ✨🙌 🤓🤓

Food is a bit expensive for what it is, but what do you expect with the location being right in the middle lf downtown Whitby? The staff are friendly and they serve your food quickly and with a smile. If there are any problem with the arcades, the staff are helpful and will refund your coins. My son (13 years at the time) has had a private party at this place and almost a year later he still talks about it. If you haven't been yet, then check it out! They are always getting new arcade games to play and have active social media for new games and menu offerings.

Always great to visit this wonderful cafe/craft beer bar/arcade. Very fun place to kill some time either alone or with friends. It's truly an all ages sort of pace offer retro arcade games and a number of free play sets at tables. Enjoy a specialty coffee/tea or one of the many craft beers on offer. They also sell some basic snack like hot dogs, nachos, grilled cheese and more. Staff is always very friendly and helpful whenever needed. You just buy tokens and you can use the tokens in any of the arcade/pin ball games.

I’ve been to this place twice and both times I had a pretty good time. The ping all games are awesome and brought me back to my childhood. The reason I only gave four stars is because both visits I had issues with the machines eating my tokens, and when I explained to front desk they gave me grief about complaining and made me feel like I was not being truthful. They have some great arcade games, but experience could be improved by better operating machines and customer service.

Essentially I'd like to live here. This is such a great spot for a hangout with friends or a date! Definitely suggest visiting on a weekday when things are less busy. When the traffic is lower you can have your pick of the machines! The drinks are wonderful. You can have coffee, alcoholic beverages, or even alcoholic coffee!! The future truly is now. My SINGLE and teensy widdle slight not even important qualm is that the food menu is basic- but you aren't attending this place for the food itself. The coffee and the games are truly where it's at! As for the current food menu- you've got a couple basics and kid friendly menu items. This place is really fun! Love it. Bring friends.

Went here today with my family. Had a great time! It was fun, not crowded and totally not pretentious. Sometimes, I feel out of place in social settings but I felt very welcomed here. If I was young and single, I feel like this would be the best place ever for a first date. Fun, chill, cozy but not too quiet and with ample drinks (alcoholic or not) to choose from. We had an enjoyable time and will come back again.

We came here for the first time on Saturday for my birthday. There was 10 of us; the youngest being 8 and the oldest being 47. We had a great time. The games were fun and the music was *chef's kiss*. Good snack options, but if burgers could be added to the menu that would be even better! They owners are so friendly, engaging and attentive. I'll be back again for sure!

Had our son's birthday party here and everyone had a great time. The games are fun and the the food is good. The grilled cheeses are excellent. There is lots of good coffee and beer, very good place to hang out for a wide range of ages.

This is my happy place. Pinball? Check. Arcade games? Check. Comfort food? Check. I'm not a coffee or alcohol drinker, but if you are, you are actually getting even more out of it than I am. It's pretty uncommon to not be satisfied with your drink from what I hear. It's a pretty good location, and if it's free parking time in Whitby, you can usually get a decent spot to park. Also: a really good location for a date (from what I've heard, of course)

🫤 Went to late night dinner at Chuck’s in Whitby on Sat. Jan. 7/23@9pm. We were seated at the front window to a large round table. I can’t fault the food as it is always good and the same at every location I’ve been to in all over Ontario. Food was fresh and hot and came out faster then we expected. U...
