I
recently
had
brain
surgery
at
Kettering
Hospital.
That
experience
as
far
as
brain
surgery
goes
was
amazing.
I
felt
very
well
taken
care
of.
I
felt
listened
to.
I
felt
like
I
mattered.
Two
days
after
coming
home
from
the
hospital
I
was
having
excruciating
pain
in
my
back,
which
was
making
it
difficult
to
focus
on
my
brain
surgery
recovery.
We
called
the
squad
and
they
brought
me
(paramedics
and
squad
Members
were
amazing)
The
emergency
room
was
an
absolute
joke.
They
never
took
any
images
the
asked
very
little
questions.
Just
gave
me
a
bunch
of
drugs
and
wanted
to
send
me
out
of
there.
I
worked
too
hard
getting
through
my
brain
surgery
to
take
things
at
a
chance,
but
it
didn’t
seem
to
matter
to
them-
the
emergency
room
lead
physician
just
wanted
us
gone.
Such
a
contrast
between
the
caring
skilled
care
we
received
in
the
Nuero
department
in
the
ICU
and
the
joke
of
the
emergency
department.
