We loved this place for it's variety of pastries, and customer service. We visited today and it was sad to see very little selection of pastries and bad customer service. No smiles, no greetings, employees looking sad and just not a good environment. I recommend this place to my family but now we will take our business elsewhere. Thank you Amy for the past good times and hope you get to spend some time looking at all the issues with your employees and make this place what it was before.

Came to cali for my daughters bday. Ordered my cake 2-3 months in advance. The person helping me via text was awesome. However, going into the bakery was completely different. Staff was rude, I was not greeted. And my cake is not what I ordered! From first glance I could tell the top layer was sinking into the bottom layer and messing up the picture they printed onto the cake. The cake looked cheap. The structure was falling apart within 5 minutes of leaving the shop and I had someone holding the cake for the 25 min drive. The top was too heavy and the bottom structure cracked along the bottom and was leaning heavily to the side. This is how the cake looked after 25 minutes of leaving the bakery. Completely ruined. For the price I paid this place is way overrated and not worth it. Not to mention our cake was dry and tasted like a Walmart cake. Very unsatisfied

Love this place. Been going here for quite some time now. Great place to sit down with a buddy have some coffee and a pastry. Very nice assortment of cakes, pastries, cookies, bread. Awesome selection (and customize your own) birthday cakes. Friendly staff. One bit of advice to new comers, BE SURE TO GRAB A NUMBERED TICKET FROM THE TICKET DISPENSER LOCATED TO THE FAR RIGHT DOOR (From when you first walk in) When there's a crowd going on they call out ticket numbers, and if you don't grab one whe. You first walk in you may be waiting a while before they get to your late pulled NUMBERED ticket!

Amy's Bakery may be one of the longest loved and most known baking establishments in Montebello. Lines can sometimes be too long for me. Even when there isn't a line it takes a long time to get service. However long it takes our family enjoys the baked goods.

Amy's is amazing and continues to be amazing use to get my birthday cakes there for my childhood years and still continue to get birthday cakes there. Excellent quality and great taste...
