budget friendly for those that do not have a place of their own, however the rooms are decently clean.. but i have a child so decently is not acceptable so i turned into Cinderella and cleaned up the place. the walls were dusty and the restroom had spiderwebs. so if you decide to rent a room for the night ask for 214 because it was personally cleaned by yours truly.

Good hotel and great service. Always clean sheets and the maintanence guy is a great help. I got a flat tire and he gave me a used one and put it on for me, free of charge! If that isn't 5 star service than idk what is. And the owner Genny is pretty cool too, she made sure i got the room i wanted and let me choose what time i wanted to check-out. Thanks Genny

Price is right for just wanting a place to crash for a few nights. Nothing fancy. There is a fridge. There is a table but no lamps so when it gets dark you need to turn on the main light. There is an old lady who kept asking me over and over how many people when i kept saying one. I just needed a cheap pad for a couple of nights. I swear she thinks i'm gonna hold a part of 50 people. Besides that one one bothered me and i had a good night sleep.

Great place to stay for the price. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly and always available to meet your needs. The price is 65 for one bed and 75 for 2 beds. Add 5 bucks more for the key and television remote deposit. There is a secret menu of certain food items that are available for purchase, like this bowl of korean soup for 1.50, just add hot water which is available in the lobby, and also water bottles, room temp or cold, for a buck, you cant beat it. They provide the basic face and body bars of soap, hair shampoo, and hair conditioner inside the rooms. Cable tv is available inside your room. In addition to the basic movie channels like hbo, there are at least 10 international channels available for you folks who wanna watch channels from asia, china mainly. An adult channel is also available for your viewing pleasure. Location coudnt be better. This place is about a 20-25 minute drive from everything in Los Angeles. Its located on a main street with a driveway that is slightly too deep. So when entering the drive way SLOW DOWN!!! Try to take it at an angle so your car will not scrape on the floor. I forgot to mention, there is a vending machine inside the lobby filled with snacks and a few items like a bic lighter or chewing gum or mentos or tic tacs that will save you a trip down the street to the 711. Bottom line is, the ROYALE INN is the best hotel on san gabriel blvd. Best bang for your buck.

For what you pay for, Royal Inn is one of the best great lowest priced rooms you probably can get south of the 10 fwy and most motels north of 10 fwy off of valley blvd. Done my research. What I appreciate most about this place is the Nite manager; she is the greatest. Very kind woman, very friendly and down to earth. Overall staff here at office desk are friendly during day time, they seem Chinese, but Im not certain. Rooms are in moderate standard and very economical. They've made upgrades since the last time I was here in 2016; marble sink counters, dark wooden floor changes, and a few rooms with new flat screen tvs to replace the old boxed-tubed TV's. πŸ‘

Urine on mattress! Mold in refrigerator. They don’t clean the room properly if at all. Horror!

Good place to be. It's clean quiet. I stay to relax. They give you until 12:00 pm to check out.

Very bad experience. Won't recommend. Poor service. I made reservations for my guests, confirmed with clerk that I would be billed for it after they checkout. The establishment demanded payment from my guests, instead of contacting me beforehand about payment. Not trustworthy. Rooms smells moldy. The bathroom lock was broken. It appears to have been kicked open. I would give the establishment zero stars if I could.
