I don't normally come in here groceries because they are a bit pricey but after today's visit...I don't think I'll buy their house made food again. Purchased 4 telera rolls for $3.00 and it was completely hollow. I thought maybe one was a fluke so I cut another one...it was hollow and green!

I love how amazing the inside is in the Vallarta filled with a mini restaurant and the regular supermarket grocery store. It's like going into the Mexican restaurant.

For starters, I asked for no beans. Well, the cashier was nice and put that on the receipt. Guess what was in my plate? Then when I got my food I looked for a fork and there were none to be found, all they had were knifes & spoons. So I asked the guy who gave me my food for one and he told me, "Use your hands bro". If that wasn't the worst, he was coughing everywhere, literally!  EIther he was sick or needs to be drug tested.

A lot of variety. I went in just before they closed the bakery. The woman who helped us was patient, friendly, and kind. That is why we keep going back. Oh, aside from the quality products.

I went to buy a homemade burrito, it was yummy and big size for the price. They have tables and chairs to sit inside. This is my 2nd time eating there, I notice many people go there to buy their meals to take home.

Good super market, friendly, but the line to check out are always long. They are really short staffed. The shelves are well stocked. The meat market or whatever you want to call it in the back is great for fresh meats. I insist on the marinated carne asada. The bakery is also very good. Fresh 🍞 is delicious. Also very convenient to buy already made beans and rice. The hot food you can purchase is pretty good, I recommend the 🌮. Self checkout is convenient, the lines are normally really long, but the customer service is friendly.

Went here to do some shopping while passing by. The store is clean and things are organized. The downer is you really need to check the expiration of your food. I bought milk there and I barely noticed it was already expired all the way from June 5, literally 2 weeks expired. Makes you think if they are actually checking or even rotating dates for dairy and deli items.

Horrible service to Uber eats drivers. Please, Vallarta, stop offering Uber eats if your workers are going to completely fail at being our partners. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

I live a block away from smart & final and 4 blocks away from Ralph's, yet I always choose Vallarta even tho it's over 2 miles away.

Huge selection. They added food, salad, soup and tamale bar. More selection in hand crafted donuts. Big aguas selection. Build your own plate for 7.99 per LB. Staff is very helpful when needing something. Organized and completely stocked. Pupusas are really good here.

The customer service at the cremeria is down rude. Some lady I believe her name is Gloria seen me standing to get attended and ignored me. Do better Vallarta

Went in around 12 today to pick up some seafood and the selections seem to always be nearly empty… looks like meat is low on stock or never refilled.. I use to work at a meat department myself and the workers seem quite lazy…. Otherwise the meat I have gotten has mostly been fresh from here.

Nice fresh tortillas and rolls. But prices on food items are a bit high.

I went in for La Cocina, the hot foods sold in La Vallarta. The burritos are delicious and can be altered to your liking.

Go to store for loose cinnamon sticks. Yields delicious sweet (sugar free) cinnamon tea. Staff friendly. Good produce & meat sales.

Horrible service every time I go in they only have 1 or 2 registers open with long lines. Same with the kitchen. Long lines and only 1 person working. From now on I will be driving a bit further out to go to Ralph’s and pay a little more but that’s okay

The Northgate Market in La Habra has better quality than this Vallarta Market. The employees in this Vallarta Market are rude. The food taste horrible. I highly recommend going to Northgate in La Habra. The employees there are friendly.

Vallarta Whittier. I am so disappointed to know that the butcher at this store packaged (double bagged) without hesitation 4 pounds of meat of my request that was clearly spoiled!! I got home and as I opened the package of the meat I was hit with the strong foul bitter spoiled meat scent. It's hard to believe this young man (the butcher)had no idea the meat was spoiled, as the foul oder was strongly pronounced and more so when it was shuffled around. IT ANGERS ME TO THINK PEOPLE CAN BECOME/ARE SICK OVER SOMEONES CARELESSNESS! **I was given a full refund I refuse to shop there again.

I always find what I need here when it comes to groceries. They have good prices for certain items. You can find better deals here when compared to other supermarkets. Especially when it comes to fruits & vegetables. The people that work behind the counter at the meats department and the cheese, ham, and sour cream section are very nice everytime. We always get great customer service there. Also shout out to their cashier Jonathan. He's always so nice to others and he's a very nice employee. Very polite and super friendly. Wish all cashiers could be like him. He always makes our day when we go grocery shopping and he rings us up. Overall, I love coming to this location and always have a great experience shopping.

Love the selection of Latino food. Just wish they'd have more cashiers, but I understand the majority of businesses are understaffed, since Covid.

Great selection of products, the hot food area is clean. Too bad I had to wait 20 minutes for my order. 10 minutes to cook and 10 minutes waiting for the girls to stop talking and start my order. The manager was nice enough to refill my agua Fresca for the inconvenience.
