Lennox Bridge is great to look at. You can walk under it but that’s about it. Knapsack has some great waking tracks next to this location. I suggest walking though Knapsack and down to Lennox Bridge if you want to enjoy some time out. If you want to just see Lennox Bridge there is a small carpark at the bridge.

Beautiful place. Old bridge at Glenbrook if you have a time, you can spend your time walking on the bush. I went down to under the bridge and sat down for a while. Just have a rest to see nature life. Good for photo shot.

Lennox Bridge, opened in 1833, is the oldest surviving stone arch bridge on the Australian mainland. The bridge received a Historic Engineering Marker from Engineers Australia as part of its Engineering Heritage Recognition Program. It crosses Brookside Creek (also known as Lapstone Creek) on the road known as Mitchell's Pass. Easy access with plenty of car parks. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to visit it after decent rain, so the creek was flowing strongly. It made for some beautiful photos of the oldest bridge (Finished in 1833) on the Australian mainland (Richmond Bridge in Tasmania was finished 8 years earlier in 1825) Well worth the short walk drive from Glenbrook, or a stop when driving along Mitchell Pass.

Approx 1hr drive from Sydney. This place can be a starting point of a hike/mountain bike trail. There is a designated small carpark. Lennox Bridge is the oldest stone arch bridge in mainland Australia, built in 1832-33. The bridge is also State Heritage listed.

I am amazed that such a strong and sturdy bridge was planned and built almost 190 years ago. I recommend visiting Lennox Bridge on the way to Blue Mountains, rather than visiting it separately. There is a small parking area for 5-10 cars in the vicinity. I recommend going down under the arch bridge and enjoying the magnificent view of the bridge from the bottom place.

Good piece of history. But only really worth hanging around for a few minutes if you're on the way to somewhere else.

Oldest bridge on mainland Australia built in 1833 but the centre part has been replaced. It would be unreasonable to expect it to stand for 200 years without repair. Interesting and some nice walks nearby

Nice spot also for a short walk with young kids around the creek.

A very pretty spot to visit. We were last here in January and enjoyed it thoroughly, however our winter visit was so much more refreshing. The quantity of ferns, and the lushness of the foliage, was so much more beautiful than in summer. The valley is easily viewed in both directions from the top of the bridge however if you can manage the stairs it's very satisfying to immerse yourself into the environment from under the bridge. The winfing path down doesnt have a handrsil however the stone stairs are wuite dolud. I recommend venturing down if you are sure of your footing. The volume of water under the bridge increases after rain.

I have been visiting this bridge from the mid 1970s. Dropped by for a visit again today. For a bridge originally completed in 1933, there have been some restoration works in recent years.

A small parking available right next to the bridge. There are also very nice stairs so one can get to the bottom/under the bridge for some nice photos.

Nice quiet bridge, there's stairs on the side to get down to the bridge and take photos. Nice little stream, very clean area. You can also have a picnic nearby, theres a table for food and stuff, it's pretty quiet and nice to hang during winter :) There's also a looped trail you can do, that's roughly 45 mins to complete nearby
