Such a PERFECT located Restaurant with a high Level of Service creating a unique expierience! I have been there with my familiy and we enjoyed a fantastic evening. Next time we go to Lago Maggiore, we'll make sure to visit usignolo!

My partner and I called to ask if we could reserve a table and found out they were booked but we could get take out / show up and see if a table was free. Showed up at the time they suggested. They said they were full. Completely understandable. So we ordered take out. While we were waiting, two white women showed up - also didn’t have a reservation. The server hesitated a bit, looked at us, and then offered them a table. We didn’t create a scene, paid for the food, and left. We are European, but just with Asian heritage so we are not white. I have never felt more disgusted. The food was not that good, we have definitely eaten better in this country (and neighborhood). Touristic location, off season, I’m surprised they treat people like this. I have worked in this industry and have great sympathy for gastronomy businesses but lost all of it today for this restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die dem Touristen Nepp am Lago (Cannero) entgehen wollen. Antipasti in guten Portionen und top Qualität 7-12€, Primi ebenfalls (außer Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten), Secundi fast alles unter 20€. Familie satt mit 3 Gängen+Espressi. Am Lago geht man in der Qualität in Service, Ambiente und Speisen für weit mehr Geld hungrig, durstig und unzufrieden aus dem Lokal. Bin immer noch baff. Also: Preis/Leistung absolute Spitze. Service sehr freundlich, spricht z.T. perfekt deutsch. Reservierung sehr empfohlen, per WhatsApp problemlos. Leider Fr-So schon komplett ausgebucht, hätten gleich wieder reserviert.

wow.wow.wow. Food is excellent, service is second to none, and the atmosphere is really great. It is our go to restaurant now. Incredible views, and reasonable prices make for a wonderful night out.

Super schöner Ausblick, nettes Personal und super leckeres Essen. Preise total fair und für den Ausblick und die Qualität des Essens nichts zu bemängeln. Rundum perfekt! Wenn man auf Nummer sicher gehen will, sollte man reservieren. Auch nachmittags schon sehr viel los. Von uns hatte jeder Vor- und Hauptspeise und wir haben inklusive Getränke knapp 40€ bezahlt. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Fantastisches Restaurant! Tolle Lage, nettes Ambiente mit Ausblick, netter Service, hervorragendes Essen und das zu sehr fairen Preisen. Bin begeistert. Die Fahrt den Berg hoch lohnt sich definitiv!

Von dem Balkon hat man eine super Aussicht auf den Logo Maggiore. Sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen war sehr lecker. Eine mega Empfehlung. Allerdings sollte man besser einen Tisch vorbestellen.

Seit vielen, vielen Jahren, eigentlich Jahrzehnten, in allem sehr sehr gut! Wenn man eine Beilage tauschen möchte, wie Kartoffeln gegen Spaghetti, überhaupt kein Problem :-)) Der Service ist sehr freundlich und äußerst bemüht, auch wenn mal etwas schief laufen sollte! Immer sehr gut besucht, deshalb ist eine Reservierung absolut notwendig! Ein sehr lebhaftes Restaurant.

Excellent Restaurant with a great view! Food was amazing, the house wine is super and the desserts are a dream! service is friendly and super fast! I recommend to reserve a table a view days earlier!

Die Aussicht ist hier wunderschön und die Plätze sind zum Glück im Schatten. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Wir haben uns über die freien Parkplätze des Restaurants sehr gefreut! Das Restaurant würde ich für Familien mit kleineren Kindern empfehlen. Denn sie haben eine Kinder-Speisekarte und ich hatte den Eindruck, dass sich die Kinder im Restaurant wohl gefühlt haben. Aber mit einem Baby könnte es schwierig sein, da es dort ziemlich laut ist (Musik, viele Menschen, …).

Beautiful place by the mountains. Food is great, service is friendly and price is very reasonable. We were very lucky to passby this place on the way down from the mountain.

This is maybe the best restaurant where i’ve ever eaten. Located on top of the mountain, this restaurant provides her customers of an amazing view! The price for what you get is rather cheap. Amazing blonde beer (Weihenstepaner). The 500g T-Bone steak is my favourite, 10/10 would recommend!

Family run restaurant with great view of the lake. Food is really excellent there. We had antipasto, pasta and some main dishes. I could recommend the pork, very tender, the sauce tasted unbelievably good. Atmosphere's cozy. The service's like a family. The owner came by to chat as well as the son who serves the food.

The restaurant keeps the tables apart during this emergency, and despite the restaurant being at capacity, we felt safe enough. The menù Is well designed for the place and includes a good selection of meats during the cold months. Excellent service even if reduced personnel is available, with little understandable delays... Just beware an old lady at the register.

Best restaurant in the region. Great grilled steaks and lamb. Large buffet on the weekends. Macaroni Usignolo is the absolute best! The place is always packed on the weekend, so definitely reserve. The staff speaks Italian, English and German very well.
