Terry, Tammy, and the entire staff were nothing but amazing and hospitable. My wife and I stayed at this resort with her parents and the entire experience was amazing. Our fishing guide Derek, really made the fishing simple, fun, and special. Derek helped out with hooking bait, reeling in fish, sharing stories, and enjoying the family’s interactions. Derek even cleaned our fish for us! Derek really made this experience a life-altering event. I never knew i would enjoy this trip so much. In fact, Derek, Terry, and Tammy are the reasons why we are booking future trips!

We had a great family guys trip earlier this week, and West Prairie showed us a great time! Terry and Tammy run a great resort with great food and accommodations. But Cody, our guide, really made the trip special for us. We had 6 of us out on his pontoon, and none of us ever had to worry about baiting a hook or taking a fish off. Cody was on top of everything 100% of the time! He was great at finding good spots to catch great walleye, and we caught our limit all 3 days! He was the best guide any of us have ever had for fishing trips! We will be back, and we will recommend this place to everyone! Thank you West Prairie for a great time!

Over the top experience and hospitality. Exceeded our expectations by far. Our guide Derek put us on so many fish we had to buy another cooler just to get our fish home. Best guide we have ever had. Well done West Prairie Resort, we will be back.

The resort owners and their guides provide exceptional service and are the nicest down-to-earth hosts. The accommodations are nice and the food superb. Definitely want to go back!
