Tons of kids clothes, they need a bigger space and perhaps better ventilation. Not too bad, but can definitely smell the shoes. Other than that, you guys are always kind and helpful. Great collection of clothing and fair pricing. Thank you guys😊

There might as well have been no staff at all. The store required masks but half the patrons and the manager lady going in and out of the back office paid no attention to the signs. The rest of the younger staffers seemed to be there just to go through the motions. Prices were moderately high to outrageous for used children's items. The bathroom floors had not been cleaned in some time. Over all in would not suggest this as first stop for used children's goods it's more of a last resort.

This Once Upon A Child is under new management and prices have reflected that. The selection has gotten better, the cleanliness has gotten better, and I love that they greet you when you walk in. I feel like I am a valued customer the moment I step in the door. Take advantage of the reward system. It's easy to sign up and easy to keep track of the points.

Everyone there was very helpful and very kind. They even helped me to carry my purchases out to the car. I will be purchasing items from them again in the future

Since they got new owners they have become rude and take nothing you bring in and are not nice about it. Rude when your told your clean clothes need to be professionally laundered and then you can bring them back and then when you bring them back they say they are clean but now there is a bad oder to them. Find a new tub to put them in and bring them back. Why bring them back just so they can say no again. They used to be very nice but not anymore.

Only got $25 selling a good condition kitchen playset that I got originally almost close to the price they’re reselling for… you might as well buy it new. I feel kind of ripped off. Staff didn’t seem too welcoming, either. Will not be returning, nor will recommend.

Literally every time I bring something in they make me wait hours on end(til close sometimes) until they say my bin is ready. Then they tell me it stinks and they don’t want anything to do with it. I am well aware y’all want clean clothes so I freshly wash them each time with baby safe products and I’ve even bought a new bin to put them in one time. At this point I feel targeted as I have tried to bring in clothes several times and y’all deny me every single time. Absolutely ridiculous. Edit: I also have never had a kind employee. They always stare at me and whisper and giggle. Such judgment in a place who is supposed to help single moms.

Took in a big basket full of clothes and shoes and they didn’t even touch it and how I know that is because it was either brand new or barely worn stuff. They just put “pass” on it. There was another time they didn’t take a bunch of my stuff because it was “worn down.” I’ve saw plenty of worn down clothes out on the floor when I look through them but yet they only take certain peoples stuff. Example of some of the things they didn’t take. It’s even funnier because some of this stuff I bought from them and a few days later they don’t take it? I’ve even bought a shirt right off the floor and then took it back in the next day and they didn’t take it 😂🙄. Also had a friend that worked there and she quit after a week because it’s all gossip and drama with the co workers.

*update: I met with the new owner (Kannan) and was very pleased with our conversation. This situation had occurred prior to her taking ownership of the store, but I was impressed that she reached out to us anyways. She asked that we give her a chance as a new owner and we will certainly do so. My son & daughter in law purchased a used playpen from this store and when we opened it and we realized it was covered in stains. The condition is unhygienic and should have been cleaned before they attempted to sell it We tried to clean it and stains won't come out. This is baffling because all equipment usually is carefully inspected before they buy anything. I attempted to return it, after the weekend but didn't have my son's credit card (they needed to go back to ND) Staff (Jaydin) told me that I should have checked the playpen for stains before buying it (playpen is huge to open in the store) and while smirking told me I guess your daughter in law needs to come back from ND with her card. We then said we will sell it back to the store. They had us open the item up so they could inspect it (?) and then offered us $28! The girl at the counter could see the stains on it from the counter. We then spoke with Jewell (store manager) asking if she could issue store credit, as equipment was sold filthy. She responded with "I said No", but then admitted that store sometimes makes mistakes. I even emailed the owner (Lindsy) to explain that we had spent $75 on an item and were treated with total disrespect from her employees. Zero response from her. Basically we paid $75 for an item that we can't/won't put the baby in. We won't support a store where they do not take care of a problem that it solely brought on by them and then treats you the customer so disrespectly when we tried to remedy the situation. While there we listened to two employees argue about the rules/training/ one stating they better get their story straight on returns all while they were right in front of us! I will update this post if this issue is ever addressed/resolved by management.

If I could leave 0 I would. Went in there to trade in some clothes was told it would take about an hour and five minutes till they got to mine, also I had 8 people in front of me..... 2 hours later I still had 6 people in front of me. When asked how long do they think it would take she couldn't give me an answer and the board still said hour and a half wait. The employees were gossiping faster than sorting clothes. Should have known better seeing how they had a sign "we greet our customers" yet I was ignored for 35 min, being a big bearded man. I guess I couldn't possibly have children and need clothes or assistance.

Sometimes I find good things and sometimes I don't. The smell in the building is quite off putting unfortunately. It's also difficult to maneuver around especially on a busy day. Definitely not very handicap accessible on those days. But, depending on the size range you're looking for there can be plenty of options to sift through. I imagine a lot of the more known brands are picked up pretty quickly, but I've had luck finding some decent clothes, you just kind of have to look hard for those gems amongst the rows and rows of clothes.

Pretty nice store with a huge selection of kids stuff, mostly clothes but there is shoes, toys, and baby equipment. Employees have greeted me as I’ve come and gone during the 3 day 90% off sale. I’ve saved so much money prepping clothes for the arrival of my newborn baby ☺️ The first two days of the sale I went in the evening and it was a great experience all around. The last day I went first thing in the morning to get in and out as quickly as I could as I knew I would have a lot of clothes and didn’t want to slow down the cashier/other customers. Wouldn’t you know it, I slowed the flow of the cashier/line! The cashier was super helpful/sweet which was greatly appreciated as there was an impatient male Karen behind me who sighed repeatedly/made snarky comments/wanted to be served so much so that one of the employees opened a register to cash him out for his things he brought to be sold to the store so beware of that I guess. Didn’t realize some people still acted like that lol I understand that standing in line sucks but there’s no reason to act like an entitled jerk Other than that I had a really great experience! 🤗

I love all the things that I can find for the little one in my life. They always need something…more shoes, more pants, warm pajamas…and clothes are really quite expensive with as fast as little ones grow out of them so why not save a little money and buy some gently used clothes that still look like new? I love that they are always having events for the next holiday or event so you know when to come take a look at Halloween costumes or buy some dress clothes for the holidays. It you have a little one and you are trying to save a little money I highly recommend Once Upon A Child.

*In response to Lindsy’s response: I’m not sure what your staff told you about this situation but apparently it was not the truth. We had both the tags AND receipt for the item and was NEVER offered an exchange. Also, are you aware my mom emailed you at that exact email that date and has never got a response? Very unprofessional staff. Cashier and other staff members argued with each other and snapped at customers. Manager Jaydin was very rude and snarky towards my mom about an issue on their end. Then store manager Jewel claimed they couldn’t issue a store credit for a return within the 7 day period because they have to follow corporate rules when I can find online that store credit will be issued if original card not present. (Different location but should be the same rules if they follow corporate rules right?) I have worked AND managed retail stores in the past but have NEVER seen such rudeness with multiple staff members. I have also never seen a company that absolutely rudely refuses to fix or accommodate for a mistake on their end to help benefit a customer. Only nice employee was the new dark haired associate working the buy counter. Have shopped here many times but will never be back and will always encourage others to stay away as well.

You can sell gently used kids clothing, books and toys. You get same day cash or store credit in return. Great prices on clothes and shoes alike.

I love all of the clothing options all year round. With the inventory changing so often it is always a treat to come in and see what treasures I can find. The place gets packed during big sales and the lines get long, but its worth it for the deals! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Cant recommend this place enough!

Nice business. Really glad we have one in our area. Workers are all really helpful and nice. They are pretty picky on what they take for thier store so make sure everything is scrubbed clean before you take it in!

Rude staff who deciphers what they'll buy based on merely who's selling it. Brought in a box full of brand new never worn clothes and they only took a few items and gave the rest back due to "wear and tear" when they were matching sets and other never worn clothes. Had my partner bring in the exact same box of clothes the next day and they bought almost the entire box of the same clothes I had brought in. They also didn't want to buy the clothes that I had bought from the store just a month ago since babies grow fast. Funny how that works.

I went in to buy some 90s theme 5t clothes for the 90s BBQ a friend and I are having. I asked a worker walking by what year he was born (he said 2004) I asked him if the shirts I picked looked 90s. He said he collected 90s things and that the shirts I picked were perfect. As I went to wait in line to make a purchase, the same employee was ringing up the family in front of Me. They had like 60 items they were getting. The employee was being friendly and got it done in like 6 mins. After they were done checking out, another employee came over to him and told him to “not talk so much,” To the customers. He said he wasn’t and he was also ringing her up the whole time. True, I was standing right there. He didn’t stop ringing her up and taking off hangers the whole time he was talking to her. She got so many things!! In my head I was like why the heck would she tell a employee not to talk to a customer too much? I work in customer service and customer love to talk, a lot , about anything. (I hate small talk myself but act like I’m engaged) Imagine trying to talk to someone and they were just non responsive and just being blunt, it would be worse than not talking to them. That didn’t even make any sense 😂 that’s all I wanted to say. This store has good deals though :) I don’t remember what I spent because I was to busy listening to her get mad about him talking to much. 💨 if that was me as a employee I’d walk out 🤷🏽‍♀️
