What an amazing experience eating at Trattoria La Rustica! We were treated like family and ate so well. This place is a must visit when visiting or passing by Enna. The restaurant is very quaint, and clean. Gaetano was happy to engage in conversation and he quickly became a friend. The food is phenomenal and very well priced. So happy we found this restaurant!

Great place for local, family cooked food. Not much English spoken, but that was part of the fun. Friendly. English menu. Not expensive.

I was so looking forward to this place during our honeymoon, I was still blown away in spite of my expectations of it being the best meal on the trip. Totally local place run by a family. We totally went with the owners recommendations, really had no idea what we were eating, there was a language barrier. Started with some sort of eggplant thing that was served cold and made my whole head tingle. Then the papardelli and my wife had mushroom ravioli....Unreal! Topped off with almond paste parfait and some sort of cream filling sprinkled with chocolate chips. If you go just let the owner pick for you is my advice.

The best meal I've had in 2 weeks in Sicily. Delicious caponata and grilled swordfish at reasonable prices. The owner was incredibly friendly too and made me feel very welcome. Grazie !

This was the best Italian restaurant we have been to in Sicily. The people here are very friendly and unassuming. It really feels like you’ve arrived at a loving Italian family who cares about feeding you well.

Abondant portions with local cuisine and good prices

One of my favorite Italian meals. Up there with Osteria Da Gemma in Piemonte. We had lunch in this warm, welcoming family restaurant alongside some very serious, heavily medaled police officers (or carabinieri), who ordered much better than I did. The pastas were fantastic and that was the best meatball of my life. However, the police officers started with a few different fritattas and had the lemon stewed beef with potatoes (which my husband also had). We had two pastas, two mains, 250ml wine, and a large bottle of water for €42. Amazingly good value. Tip well. They really should charge double for those ordering from the English menu (like my husband), honestly!

On our way from Agrigento to Catania, we decided to stop and have lunch at this highly rated restaurant. It is currently only open for lunch, no dinner service. The four of us arrived at 13:00 without reservations but the boss looked at all the reso slips and fortunately gave us a table. We had the best caponata on our trip, spinach frittata, giant meatballs, stewed beef, and due dolci (deconstructed cannoli and semi-freddo). 75€ for 4 people.

Wir sind durch Zufall auf das Restaurant gestoßen und es hat uns sofort überzeugt. Der Chef war sehr freundlich und hat uns trotz Sprachbarriere freundlich und gut bedient und uns typische sizilianische Gerichte empfohlen. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Stopped here for lunch and loved it. It felt like an authentic Italian and we were the only non-natives there. They don't speak much English but the staff really helped us pick our food and they have English menus if you need it. It's seasonal so some meals might be unavailable.

We had our best experience on our Sicily trip here. Loved the atmosphere, delicious food and hospitality of the family so much. We dined in for a perfect late dinner and came right back at lunch time the next day. Superb!

Great little restaurant. We drove two hours just to have lunch at this great little trattoria. The owner was very welcoming and sweet. The food was outstanding! Bellissima!

Nice and cheap. Its target group is locals, not tourists. And this is our favorite type of restaurant as tourist. :) You can taste real Italian life, food and atmosphere.

Very delicious food for a fair price. Friendly and authentic atmosphere. Seems to be family owned. The place is always pretty full, so you better make a reservation or wait 😊. Strongly recommend!
