Fantastic boutique breakfast cafe. I am so glad that Faye opened in Murphy. This truly is a wonderful addition to southern Illinois. I can see this being a destination for anyone who wants to make a good impression on out of town guests. Lattes were $5-6 and were quite good but a little sweet. Portions are great for the price. Very decadent food for the area with luxury feel and presentation. Dine in, take out, and even a drive through! But still feels like a great place to leisurely enjoy your morning. Highly recommended by me.

Unparalleled atmosphere, really good food, fantastic coffee. Had the French toast, a salad and some eggs, all just top notch. Also everyone here was really nice and courteous.

Finally got a chance to drop in and check out Faye and it did NOT disappoint!! Their biscuits and gravy are to die for - fresh flaky biscuits with gravy that’s got the slightest kick… so good!! Ordered an iced vanilla bean and salted caramel latte and it was just fantastic. The perfect pick me up after a hot hike in Pomona! Excited to come back here many more times in the future! Huge indoor space and lovely decorating. Definitely worth checking out :)

All I can say is: WOW! We visited on the day they were hosting guest chef, Joshua Lanning, and everything was phenomenal. I ordered the eggs benedict sandwich and a strawberry cruller, my son ordered biscuits and gravy (that's a real sausage gravy, folks, and seasoned perfectly), and my partner ordered the hot honey fried chicken sandwich (not pictured). I also ordered a London fog and my partner had a latte with lavender and vanilla house made syrup. It was all SO good! The ingredients were high quality and delicious. Everything was seasoned beautifully. The drinks were perfectly made, that's one of the best London fog's I've ever had. Overall, eating here is a delightful experience. It's refreshing to have such high quality eating in southern Illinois where so many other places have standards that are just 'good enough'. Faye clearly strives for excellence, and it shows.

Cute place in the middle of the town that serves some yummy food that does not disappoint. The biscuits are right up there with some of the best, which means the breakfasts and sandwiches that are on the menu that are biscuit friendly are delicious. Keep it up! Ranked the atmosphere a little lower as the echo and 'noise' level is a bit much for a person looking to go and get some study time or work time in. But I guess the solution there is go for the food and make that the focus!

Had some time to kill while some auto repairs were being done. Walked down the street and found this cafe. Service was great! Food is excellent! And the whole environment is very clean and relaxing. The prices really aren’t bad either for the quality of the food. Excellent house coffee and a snack for $10. Hard to beat.

The biscuits are amazing. Try one, with gravy or butter or jelly or whatever just try the biscuits. I had the best biscuit and grave with egg. And the Crullers are real, and delicious.

ordered biscuits and gravy, was disappointed.. the biscuit was tiny, 1.5 inch square by 1 inch tall (halved) the gravy wasn't that great either. IMO it was a waste of 7 bucks.. for 7 bucks i expect a biscuit that fills the plate.. and gravy that's not grey.. If your gonna do breakfast, do more than just biscuits and gravy and french toast.. you picked like the two easiest thing to cook for breakfast..

This place is a must. We enjoyed our lunch of strawberry salad on fresh baby bibb lettuce with an unbelievably delicious dressing. I also had a turkey avocado mozzarella sandwich that was also very good. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Another win for Murphysboro!

Cute vibe, and friendly people. Coffee was very good. I also got their biscuit sandwich and a parfait, both were excellent.

👍👍 I love finding excellent roasters and coffee shops in small towns. This is one of those gems. Great service, excellent coffee and comfortable space.
