This was my first visit to a Freddy's Restaurant. Entering the dining room, I felt like I went back in time to the 1950's. The only thing missing to make it feel completely authentic was a jukebox. I ordered the California Style Double combo with onion rings. Being a recovering In-N-Outaholic, I was concerned that this combo would not fully satisfy that craving that the west coast Double-Doubles always had. My combo was delivered to my table in a very reasonable time considering that it was made to order. Honestly, I was shocked at the size and shaped of the hamburger patties. Freddy's cooking technique includes squishing the patties flat. The result is a larger diameter yet much thinner patty that you would expect, and my first impression was that it looked unappetizing (boy was I wrong). Taking my first bite, my taste buds went into overload trying to comprehend and distinguish what was this substance in my mouth. Hands down the best burger I have ever had the opportunity to taste. The onion rings were very good, but honestly, the burger was so flipping delicious, all I wanted to do was keep it in my face. While some of this review may seem exaggerating, it's not. The whole dining experience has set a new level of expectation for future reviews of other restaurants. I truly hope that this visit wasn't just a fluke and that the planets and stars weren't just in alignment and that this is status quo for operations. I'm already looking forward to future visits as Freddy's has taken the crown as my favorite burger joint. Thank you Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, please don't change a thing... ever! Waited an hour past scheduled pick up time for no bread & no warning of no bread. Manager had the most "oh well" attitude that she could. We have only lived in Collierville 1 month but are completely finished with this place. One issue after another.

If you are searching for good food and service to match... Pass on by. The entire staff was incredibly rude. The employee taking the orders was laying in down in one of the booths, just chillin' on her phone, with a couple other employees. Places like this fail due to lack of leadership. This is the face of your business... Good luck... Time to clean house.

Service could be so much better. You guys have young people working with no personality what so ever. Just dry, and you can tell they don't wanna be there! There was so much salt on everything! What's the deal with that. It's not just this location. I haven't eaten at Freddy's for a long time because of that, and I see nothing has changed! The food would be good if not for the salt issue. I also ordered a small strawberry shake, and it tasted nothing like strawberries. Must be completely artificial strawberries. I will not eat here again because I don't want to wipe off every french fri before I eat it.

I’ve been to this location two different times and it has closed more than 30 minutes than the listed time. If you are going to lost that you close at 9. You should be able to order anytime after 8 up until 9. Or close at 8. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I got there at 8:25 and got a recording on the drive thru speaker.

Messed up order, refused to answer phone for me to tell them had corrected it before they closed for the night (called at 9:57 when I got to where I was eating and there was no time to go back). Picture attached, does this look like a 'Double A1 Chophouse' to you?

We walked in and there was a haze going on like they were consistently burning something. The floors from the door to the bathroom to the counter to order were sticky. The food I got was fine. My husband didn't eat all his hamburger. With the way the place was, just wasn't sure if we were gonna get food poisoning or not. The lady at the counter was very sweet, tho. I couldn't really see anyone else working there. I'm sure someone was in the kitchen.

Fast service, they got the order right and it was DELICIOUS. Double steakburger with cheese, onion rings and a chocolate shake. All perfect.

We had a horrible experience. I got a Patty Melt and the patty wasn’t even 1/4” thick. When you looked at the meat patty it looked like it had been burned and this was the scraped off top. I went the manager and was informed it was a steak burger. I held it up, and asked, are you sure this is a patty? Needless to say, the lady kept telling me that was normal. I tried a bite and it was just as bad as it looked and filled with salt. I will never go there again and I haven’t even told you about the ice cream.

I really like Freddie's double steakburgers and fries but this time we were there for their Signature Turtle Sundaes and they were great! Firm sweet custard covered in pecan halves and fudge with whipped cream and a cherry on top filled the cups! WOW they're good! The place was super clean and the workers were helpful , friendly and always on the move. Service was really quick! You know it's good when the employees eat their own cooking! We'll sure be back!

Good food but not always the best customer service. They reduced their hours too and sometimes are out of cheese curds which is very disappointing! The fries are excellent

I had a great time, the poor employees were working themselves like crazy. Business is great at our restaurant in Collierville. Unfortunately they could truly use more staff but then so could every other business. Hang in there guys Jesus knows your heart.

Do not even waste your time with this location!!! EVER!! Staff is rude and act is if they don’t want to be at work. I did not receive my fries with my order and was told to drive around and they would bring them out. I waited for about 15 min before I drove back around. They stated that they were cooking and I just asked for a refund. I guess this was the manager that came to the window EATING! (Probably my fries) and she was so incredibly rude, she refunded me for the fries, gave me the receipt and shut the window. No I apologize or anything. I am done with this place

*edited* I called about the order last night for the first time any where explain the situation and when I returned during the day they took care of. Everything I had order last night was made amazing today. They were nice and understanding about the situation. Changing my star rating from a 1 to a 4. I'll change it again the next time I order to a 5 if things are okay. I'm not look for perfection. I just looking for what I ordered. What I ordered and paid for were completely different? I avoid tacobell because I was burned out. I wasnt expecting flat soda/no topping on my burger and had to remind the attendant about missing a mini chocolate Sunday and when I get the Sunday it was a half melted vanilla soup. I understand its 40mins before close but handle it better than that. This was the second time I've came here and so far both times during the day have been bad.

Better than average fast food burger chain. Good for breaking up the monotony of typical places.

Food is good but the service is horrible. They forget your order, will demand they didn't mess it up, and will give you attitude when you show them your receipt. And they will dodge work by saying you can't go through the drive through even when people are already in line. And don't even think about using doordash, they will throw whatever food and custard they want. Just avoid this place, I've given it months but they never improved.

Got a #2 with no pickle, add lettuce. Took a few minutes to get my order but let me tell you...it was hot and fresh! I live in Arlington and had to go to Collierville and this Freddy's location is on point!!!

The Collierville location has recently undergone some major staffing changes. The food has always been great, but the service (when the doors were unlocked) was not always that great. Today, September 17, 2023, the service was awesome! The young lady at the counter was very friendly and polite. She even came around to the table to ask if we had everything we needed and if we were enjoying our meal. The manager was on site (which likely made a difference, I’m sure) and he also came around to ask if we had everything we needed. It was a pleasant change.

If we could give a ZERO, we would. In 2021, my family attempted to try this location. We drove up to find the doors locked hours before closing and the associates all sitting around inside. 2023, we try once again. We're told "If you're ordering combos, we don't have any fries." Why would a burger restaurant not have any fries early on a weekend day? We're done. Not going back.

I came here with a group of friends and we had a great experience! The food was great, staff was very friendly and attentive! All of our orders were correct and they also gave us some custard which was so nice of them. We really enjoyed our food and I would definitely come back!

Ordered two concretes 12/1 at around 8:15 PM. The man taking orders couldn't understand that we wanted one MINI chocolate brownie delight concrete and one REGULAR chocolate brownie delight concrete. After this was figured out, he came to the window and asked if we wanted cherries and whipped cream on our concretes. Yes we did considering that's what we paid for. We took a bite of our concretes after moving out of the drive through line and they are completely melted. One huge brownie chunk in each one, and literal chocolate soup for the rest. Even the whipped cream was melted. My husband was given a small drink cup that was maybe 3/4 full and I was given the normal concrete cup and it was again 3/4 full. Also, every time we order from here the outside of the cups are such a mess.

I ordered my food and i told them can u put the one burger combo to go and they gave me two boxes to pack it myself!!! I'm like really i don't work here!!! And the i had to ask for the my Reese's shake and then i asked them where's the rest of the toppings like the picture!!! And all she add it was whip cream 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😠😠 I will never go there again!!!

This was my first time trying Freddy's and it's my new favorite place! The food was delicious but even better were the 2 employees I interacted with! They were 2 of the nicest people I've met in quite a while, they provided EXCELLENT customer service which is nearly impossible to find these days. If someone from corporate sees this, they are doing it right at this place! The name on my receipt was RJ, he was great, and the other guy that gave me my order told me about how much I have been missing out if this was my first time at a Freddy's, and I agree!

If you're a fan of rich and creamy desserts, this custard restaurant is a must-visit! The menu offers a variety of flavors and toppings to satisfy any craving. The texture of the custard is velvety smooth, and the portions are generous. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make for an enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend

On our way home, we swung through the drive thru. It didn't take long to place the order and receive our meal and the orders were accurate. It was our first Freddy's experience and we liked it. The burgers were fresh and fries were wonderful. I ordered a California burger which honestly is not what I normally think of when restaurants outside of Cali use that state's name. Usually, a slice of avocado is involved. At Freddy's, it's a full slice of onion, no pickle and thousand island dressing. But it was very good!

The service was outstanding! The young man,Brenden, working the window had exceptional communication and patience when taking my order. The team as a whole did a great job and the food was just what I needed after a hot working day. Keep up the great work!

Ordered in the drive thru at 6:44 pm for our family of 4. We finally received our food at 7:46 pm. Took over an hour to process the 5 cars ahead of us and our order. An hour! When I asked why it was taking so long I was told “well there’s only three of us” like I should have known better. I had to laugh when I saw in the food preparation area posted signs that said “4:45 turn time per order”. I should have checked my order before I left because when I got home I found the bacon double cheeseburger I ordered was the poorly made single burger pictured. Awful experience.

Absolutely the most terrible service in all of Collierville. Can’t make the food right or remake make it after being told to come back in to replace it due to “lack of recollection” of any conversation with the General Manager. Also won’t accept Freddy’s gift cards that are less than 2 weeks old. Tired of jumping through hoops having to call 5 different people to have one burger made the way it was ordered and paid for. Will literally never eat here ever again despite the food being decent for fast food when actually made correctly. Would give -5 stars if possible. Such a shame to see what this franchise has come to.

First and last time at this place. Chicken sandwich was under cooked and had lettuce and tomato and no mayonnaise. Very dry and rubbery. The place was very dirty. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was a used sanitary napkin stuck to the toilet paper dispenser 🤮. Booths were thithy. Front door looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Horrible experience. Never had this experience at any other Collierville establishment.

The food was good! However the lady who took our order was not good she sounded very way down, heavy, like she did not want anybody to order anything at any time that she was there! This mentality and tone is very prevalent in Memphis! When I was young they trained you to smile while taking the order because even if they could not see you they could hear the smile in your voice. Apparently Memphis has the most horrible managers because nowhere I go here are people trained to speak with courtesy and to make your experience one that you want to return for. Unfortunately everyone in here at Memphis just accepts being treated poorly because it is obviously something no one says anything about because no one here cares to be treated better or to just give a better experience. Hopefully this will change! There is a lot of growth that would like to come to Memphis, but it cannot happen because there is no room when it is so full of poor service and negativity!

The food was pretty good, however true to a lot of people here in Memphis the service was bad. When I was younger working fast food they trained us that you smile when you're taking the order they are not looking at you but they can hear the smile in your voice! No one taught Memphis this! The people here sounds so dragged down and heavy like it is an inconvenience to them that you showed up at the job they chose to order something so that the restaurant can continue to pay them. No one here has management trained people or good customer service.

Absolutely worst service ever. This place needs help bad! And they are not even fully staffed. Absolutely pathetic. Horrible customer service. My food looked like it had been dropped on the floor i didn't even eat it i left everything on the table and left! This all happened 10mins ago. I definitely will never even eat at another freddys because of this.

Neither the cook or the severs or the girl at the window had masks on. The one that did have a mask wore it below her nose. Unacceptable! I threw my food away.

Fresh and hot food served as ordered. Facilities were not as clean as I would expect but the tables were eventually cleaned up.

The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. The service was very quick compared to similar fast food restaurants. This place puts me in the mind of steak and shake, but I never go there because the service is always extremely poor. That being said, I'm thankful for discovering Freddy's. My family enjoyed and the kiddos said they definitely want to go back.

I used the drive thru when I visited Freddy's and they were on point with the swiftness of their service. I ordered the burger melt on the toasted bread and it was good. This was my first time going to this location and I will be going back.

My Fries were not fresh. Normally they are nice and hot, but not this time.

First time and last time coming here! Drive thru Order #305 Threw my fries in my bag upside down, so had to eat them out of the bag. Sandwich was cold, patties were charoled, hard and thin. Not even a centimeter. Also had mustard on top of my bun so that let's me know whoever fixed my burger had dirty gloves. Not to mention no napkins in the bag. The only thing that was good was the drink.

Ask for dipping sauce but they did not include it when making up the order. Had to go back to get it.

Our lacrosse team stopped for lunch her and it was super tasty and food was delivered to us quickly. The custard was delicious and the kids and parents enjoyed themselves very much. Thumbs up!

I've had Freddy's in Illinois and it was so good. Went to this Freddy's and everything was wrong. No bun,my daughter didn't get her fries and when I went back up to the counter they couldn't see what was wrong with my burger.
