One of my favorite places to hike. The variety of the trails offered is wonderful. The trails are super clean and well marked

Beautiful, clean trails and waterfall. We did the three mile Tumbling Waters loop. We were pressed for time but we will come back to finish the other trails.

I've done all the trails and they're wonderful (though Tumbling Waters is definitely more challenging than one would expect, haha). I recently did a night hike and it was SO MUCH FUN. Our group was very small and by the end of it, it was just the tour guide and me, which I actually kind of preferred (reminded me of just walking around nature with random friends throughout the years). It was educational and fun and even though we didn't see much because the night was chillier, we heard a lot of bullfrogs and some interesting chirps and the trees creaking eerily in the winds. Definitely be careful when hiking here because there are lots of roots due to the bedrock being right below the soil. I want to do more guided hikes here so looking forward to that! Also, definitely check out the neat displays inside the center, too! Lots of skulls and taxidermied animals and also a giant life-size beaver lodge that you can crawl into as well as a life-size eagle nest! Lots of neat animals to look at it and learn about. I always loving going here!!

We started hike with our dog on easy Two Ponds trail, then branched off onto Tumbling Waters trail to the falls, listed as a moderate 3.3 mile. Made for a nice hour and half workout on nicely maintained and marked trails. Will be returning to try out the Ridgeline Trail loop in the near future.

Great place to hike. There are different trails that have different levels of difficulty. We took the Tumbling Waters trail this time. There are trail maps available. Wear hiking shoes, not flip flops, sandles, or sneakers!

I’ve visited this place many times before and this is my first time after COVID pandemic ! If you are group hunting in Delaware water gap area, this is a nice place to stay since there are many heated cabins for rent. The cabin/houses can host more than 40 people so it’s a great place for team-building activities.

This place is both beautiful and Old School Cool! As a kid of the 80s I fondly remember visits to Environmental centers chock full of static displays, info graphics, maps focused on education. This place does not disappoint in that respect. We hiked the Tumbling Waters trail, marked orange and about 3 miles. All said and done it was about 4 miles including visiting the falls and walking around the center. The falls were beautiful and well worth the hike to get there. Also of special note were the trail maps, with points of interest labeled and marked on trees which tell you the history of the area. Being a new part time resident of the Poconos I found the info very educational about the general area, flora, etc. I’ll definitely recommend this to all I visitors as a great place to visit and hike!

Pretty much closed inside. But the trails are great. Wear good hiking shoes, bring a hiking pole or stick and get ready to work out those legs. Flat to rooted to rocky trail. But the view was amazing. Moderate to difficult hike

The degree of care and effort that go into the Pocono Environmental Education Center is immediately obvious. The wide range of activities are matched by the depth of experience that is possible, and the staff are equally knowledgable and kind. Nature and the classroom meet in the PEEC, and they both prove themselves as worth the time to make the trip.

I did not venture far from the building as I parked on the grass near the Front Pond to watch my brothers fish. The main building wasn't open for any activities, but the building was open for restrooms. The pond was beautiful and closed in by trees. It was inhabited by beavers with other wildlife. We didn't catch any fish, but since fishing is about the scenery anyway, it's a great place to fish. Canoes can be rented to paddle on the pond.

Always a treat to go here and do some hiking. PEEC offers several trails from casual to advanced. Lots of scenery depending on which trail you take. Trails have proper blazes and markings. Just know which one you want ahead of time. Several waterfalls as well. A must visit if you are in the area. Dingmas Falls is just up the road as well.
