We came twice in one weekend- Friday and Sunday. On Friday the guys were friendly, but not efficient. We ordered Macrons. Those were DEFINITELY bought and not made by Croustille. That is just misleading customers. They were also almost completely out of pastries. Makes no sense for a French Bakery to be empty on a Friday morning. The coffee tasted burnt and was watery. Really disgusting. I did not order another one on Sunday. It also took way too long for us to get our orders, simple sandwiches. We waited in line for over 20 minutes on Sunday just to order. The guy behind the counter had no idea how to answer any question about the menu. Additionally, they ran out of Mozarella and water bottles, but still charged us. who does their ordering in the kitchen?!? How does a cafe run out of basic cheese??? I did get a refund for the two water bottles after asking a few times. The guy at the register was in la-la-land. He should not be interacting with customers if he is not savvy. He gave the cafe a terrible name. So the cafe is out of mozarella. We asked for goat cheese. All of us got our orders without the goat cheese. We went back to show the sandwich maker. He added the cheese finally, but not a normal serving... why be cheap on customers?! There was 1 ready made sandwich with mozarella. We asked to add to it goat cheese. They heated the sandwich, without goat cheese. We took back the sandwich, showing the guy he did jot add goat cheese. They brought it back with goat cheese- but removed the mozarella. Omelletes- we requested to add goat cheese. Again, both egg orders came without the goat cheese. The menu that shows the order with baguettes- they give you the tiny baguette roll, which is 1/3 of a regular baguette. The cafe has potential. 1. Make sure you are stacked with ingredients. 2. Alerts the counter guys if you are out of something. 3. Clean your coffee makers so they don't have burnt coffee in the bottom of the coffee maker 4. Counter Guys should be quick, savvy, friendly, knowledgable. 5. You need two guys at the counter, two guys making the sandwiches, at least. Customer service needs a revamp.

Horrible service, person making the food didn’t seem to have it together or know what French cuisine was…

They have recently added a lot more breakfast options and they are amazing! 10/10 would recommend. It’s the only fancy and good breakfast place that is kosher in baltimore!

Today was my first time at Croustile cafe and I was very impressed. The place is super clean, very comfortable chairs and a even a couch! I had a baguette what was so good, came like a panini and it was very fresh. My friend got the croissant and it was fresh and tasty. If you haven’t been they are worth checking out for sure. I will be there for my next meeting.

One of the best bakeries in all of the east coast. Food is delicious and high quality, service is impeccable, atmosphere is very relaxing. Try it out to understand what I'm talking about. Pastries, coffee, sandwiches, bread, and so many types of desserts! This place is a jewel! And KOSHER!

I don't eat many baked goods so I don't go here that often. They have one product that I really like, their chocolate challah. There were two times that I've tried to order this product. The first time, I placed the order early in the week. They called me Thursday morning to tell me that they couldn't make it. No explanation, they just cancelled my order and refunded me the money. Frustrating, but no harm no foul. It was also right before the holidays, so although I was frustrated that a week's notice wasn't enough time for them to make it, I was somewhat understanding of the situation. The second time, however, I placed the order through the website. When I arrived there, they told me that they don't make chocolate challah except on Friday and that I could come back tomorrow to pick up my order. What? How do you not make something I placed an order for? I live more than an hour away from the place, going all the way back to pick up something that should have been available when I ordered it is insane. However, I had already paid for it and was really looking forward to getting it to share with my shul. So my wife went back on Friday to pick it up. They told her that the order had in fact been ready on Thursday and that they had to throw it away. Now they don't have the amount we had ordered and paid for, and they couldn't find the order in their system to cancel it and refund the money. So instead they decided to "make it right" in an entirely self serving way by letting her get an equivalent dollar amount of product (which we didn't want). These two experiences combine to make it so we will likely never recommend this business to anyone we know.

Came in here today because I was at the staples waiting for something else and I literally stood in line almost 8 minutes listening to the young guy with glasses have a personal conversation with an older lady. You have to be able to be personable while still being able to assist other customers. I ended up walking out , was never greeted or anything.

The staff is very friendly here and the shop is nice and clean. It has so much potential! The music- definitely a no go for me with the jazz. It’s loud and not appropriate for a French cafe. The frozen drink machine is unnecessary and throws me off a bit. The macarons are definitely store bought, they just taste like sugar and are not good at all which is disappointing. The pastries seem okay, but they definitely need improvement in that area as well. Fresh looking bread is nice. The eclairs are very dense and sugary, so we wondered if all of that was fresh or not as well, doesn’t seem baked properly. The menu definitely needs an overhaul for sure. The coffee we ordered also tasted burned unfortunately. I hope this is helpful to rebrand your business and make it booming. 😊

The cashier was nice. Service was nice. The eclaire was not good. I had one bite and threw it away. Those aren't eclaires. I will go back and try other things. I'm sure some of the other pastries are good.

I order the vegetable tuna when I got home all I had was a scoop of tuna and a bit of lettuce tomato and onion. I waited over 10 minutes for this. If I didn't have any appointments I would have brought it back. Wow Y'all.

Friday is the "HAPPENING" day. I would love it if another day becomes "happening" too. I had the Avocado Croissant and one of the Lemon Curd tart with fruit Delish So happy they are in business.

Twenty minutes after opening, the pastries were still in the oven. The pain suisse was very tasty and very messy. Coffee was good. A little too well lit, perhaps.

When I visited this cafe I bought a strawberry croissant. It was very delicious. My friend bought one too, as well as a plain and chocolate one. The sizes are quite generous and I would definitely return to grab another one.

There’s a hidden gem of a bakery in Baltimore owned an operated by a wonderful French family who brought their love and culinary expertise with them which is why I highly recommend Croustille Cafe. Whether you’re in the mood for their olive bread, baguette or a croissant, this is place go.

Used to have good bread. Now it tastes like cheap supermarket bread unfortunately.

Nice clean cafe located in pikesville. Very welcome environment with friendly staff and great pastries as well. My favorite is the strawberry croissant & the apple croissant. They are a must-try!

Had a real nice cheese omeletteAnd the cafe latte but one concern was that one of the servers has long flowing hair that's not tied back not a good look or healthy look for a bakery

Delicious almond croissant and toast( can't remember the name but it sounded French). They could work on the ambiance but over all great place for a breakfast date or meeting.

My wife and I visited as we had heard about them from family. We only bought a couple of pastries and while they were pricey, we both agreed that they were delicious!

I came here at 7:30 A.M. in the morning as I had some business to do in Pikesville. Staffs were friendly and I had a Americano coffee and a chocolate croissant. Coffee was great and chocolate croissant was fresh and warm and melted in my mouth. I will return for sure if I come to Pikesville again.

Was looking for good coffee on my way to Westminster, Md. and saw this had some good reviews. Ordered a large iced decafe vanilla caramel latte and it tasted like weak coffee water. Horrible!👎🏾 Haven't tried the almond croissant yet, though it looks good..

I give this place 5 stars because I believe in patronizing local community businesses. Some of the food can be expensive but it's good food. Some food is not to my taste but I haven't found a place locally that makes amazing sourdough bread either so I won't hold it against them. The owner/manager that works there is a good guy. The plaza that this place is in also has a Staples and a dry cleaners.

Yummy bread. Yummy desserts. I hope to have opportunity to further explore their menu. Room for improvement: If get bread sliced, the slices will be very thick Hard to tell which breads are available and which sold out
