Absolutely abysmal service. To be fair, we were a large company of about 30. However, that should not warrant a waiting time for 20 minutes just for the first drinks. Some of the drinks were served even later or the wrong drinks were served. Staff bringing drinks three at a time, leaving the rest to wait until they finally get their drinks. They kept bringing us bottled water even though half of the people hadn't even gotten their ordered drinks. When the first starters finally came out, several of our company did not get theirs after everybody else had already long finished theirs. Staff were polite but literally running around like headless chickens. Often chewing food or gum. Mains finally came well after 10 pm, 45 minutes after the starters. Food was nothing special. Almost no one finished the 4-person bbq platter (which costs almost 40.000). The meat was dry and some bits were just uneatable. The only redeeming bit were the burgers that were actually nice. Besides our company, only a couple more people were here so it wasn't like it was extremely busy. Men's toilet upstairs out of order, women's toilet upstairs had no functioning lock. Only reason I'm not giving just one star is because the staff meant to do well. Would definitely not go again. They also have the audacity to charge a 12% service fee.

Finding such quality at such a reasonable price is rare, especially in a city as popular as Budapest. We couldn’t resist visiting a place with the name ‘Meat Heaven’. We we’re instantly greeted by the friendliest staff I’ve met in a while. My friends and I treated ourselves with an amazing wagyu steak, our first time eating this as well. This became one of the highpoints of our trip to Hungary. A big thanks to Peter! For taking care of us, giving solid recommendations and the fun conversation! We will never forget this moment of our trip ;) We will come back!

Service was prompt, efficient and very friendly. Menus were printed in both Hungarian and English. Staff spoke excellent English. We were there for lunch mid-afternoon. The restaurant was quiet. The kitchen was very responsive to special requests. Staff was very helpful as we were attempting to select our choices. The atmosphere was charming and welcoming. Our server Ádám was excellent.

Amazing place for dinner. The service is awesome. The staff are very helpful. The food portion is huge for Asian like me. So I asked if I can go for a burger without the bun, the staff is so friendly and asked if can substitute with rice or something else, is that I have allergies or what. The staff also helped us to take a group photo. I ordered a beef burger with bacon jam, it is one of the best beef burger that I have ever had. The beef is so flavourful and so juicy, it melts in the mouth, the bacon jam goes so well with the burger. That is the best beef burger that I ever had. Even though without the bun, the burger is still too huge for me. Even my other European friends especially ladies cannot finish their food. The food really served in generous amount. Perhaps it is better if the customers can choose the amount of food they prefer. The environment of the restaurant is youthful and fun. Wifi is provided.

We chose this restaurant just by passing by on the street. We took a look on their menu and went in. From the very beginning we were not disappointed for a second. The service is perfect. Their drinks card is one of the best we have ever seen in Europe. And yes as they called Meat Heaven, I do confirm it is, indeed. There's a great choice of different types of the beef depending on country. You can choose the part of the beef as well. But as it was our first meal in Budapest we ordered their Goulash 2.0 which was quite good. For dessert I followed the suggestion of our waiter and ordered Cannelloni with glühwein-infused peaches. It was the best version of Cannelloni that I've ever tried in Italian restaurant in Brussels.

What a fantastic place to go and eat meat!!! My wife was treated very well, not only because it was her birthday but because our waiter for the night was very, very patient, respectful, funny and engaging - Peter you were absolutely fantastic and you made our experience so warm and lovely... Staff was very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Shout out to Feri! The Goulash was tender, full of flavour and just heartwarming, paired with Hungarian red wine, it was just a highlight after a long day, atmosphere was great too.

Our waiter Marcel was the best. He made sure the entire group had an amazing time and took his time to let us know where the rib eye came from, how it was cooked, what side to take and what to drink. What else can you ask for from a steakhouse in Budapest. The restaurant was high end however, laid back. You feel welcome how the staff treats you. I recommend this place for a nice steak if you are in the center of Budapest.

The location is quite close to Astoria hence literally few mins walk. It has both sitout n dining inside options. I preferred Rib eye steak(med rare) and it was perfect. The meat was well cooked and quote soft as you would expect in a good steak. The texture and colour of the messy shows the awesomeness. Along with food, the ambience also made my dinner more enjoyable. However, why this review lost a star is (hence 4 star) - Welcoming guests. I waited for around 6-7mins before any staff can come (and restaurant was not at all crowded) to me and guide/show a table. While i was having dinner, I noticed the same happening with two others set of guests also. Its a small thing, but expected from a fine dining like yours which serves such good food.

The best place in Budapest to eat meat. We were a group of 85 from Israel, we book the place almost two month before. The service was amazing from the booking, through the meal coordination to the service at the schedule event. The team greeted us warmly, ran the orders quickly and served every dishes quickly. Excellent gulash soup, the nest beef brisket i have ever tasted, top stakes with large portions and high quality crafted beers. I highly recommend and marked it as the best in my favorite list.

We chose this place on a whim and sat on the patio. We originally planned to only have a cocktail and leave. Peter was our server and could not have been more in tune with us as customers. The drinks were delicious and well portioned. We tried both unicum and palinka while there and would highly recommend the palinka. Throughout the visit Peter was very hospitable and helpful. Very touristy part of town but I would recommend stopping in here for a visit. Good people, good experience.

We sat outside - it was summer so no one was really inside. We had our steaks medium. Some weren’t super tender - but overall the temperature was just right and flavor was great. The food was good but Peter- our waiter, was Fantastic. Spoke excellent English and had an incredible dry sense of humor. Turns out he’s spent time in London. Overall super happy.

Meat Heaven indeed. A massive range of food, especially with the sharing platters. Even the sides and dips are worth mentioning! Perfect place for a hungry Hungary stag-do! Friendly and helpful staff who talks us through the platter and made sure glasses were always full!

Very friendly staff, one members first day and he was extremely nervous but he was excellent. Didn’t know English too well but was able to get our orders correct no problem just needed a little reassurance. The Camembert & beef brisket with rice was beautiful, cooked to perfection but unfortunately my ribs were not the best, hardly any meat on them so definitely won’t order these again, but I will return to the restaurant on my next trip to Budapest for the sake of the service, seating area and other items on the menu (burgers looked great)

The brisket was delicious and the chocolate souffle was mouth watering. The waiter was incredibly friendly (his name is Istuan) and the drinks were excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic meal, attentive and personable staff. We had a tomahawk and tenderloin as well as the scallops. Everything was cooked precise to our requests and it was superb! Trendy atmosphere, not rushed. Highly recommended and we’d gladly return again.

This place is an average restaurant and probably overpriced for the service you get. It took always long time to call the waiter and the restaurant wasn’t even full. Another waiter was for a long time on the phone which was inappropriate for me. The burger I got was wrong, I had to send it back and the second had a hair in it. However the taste of the burger was really good. The oil they used to make the fries was giving them a strange taste. I ordered a small beverage and got a large and had to pay for a large one, even though I didn’t ordered it. All in all I would suggest to work on the service, other restaurants nearby in that price range are way better organized. They took more than half an hour to serve the food, though I was eating alone and the restaurant wasn’t really full. Good burgers alone won’t convince me to come back.

Its a scam. Looks fancy and everything. But they try hard to sell you the most expensive stuff. I understand them, but it is annoying to try this at every single opportunity. The wine recommended was not good (kind of normal priced though). There was very small but nice starters on the house. Thats what i liked about here. The waiter felt like he was a drug dealer, honestly😁. I also judge people who eat well-done steaks, but do not say it out loud. The waiter humiliated my colleague, like every pretentious steak-house. Just shut up and cook it. After all those humiliation, my medium steak came well done, and his well done steak came dry af. And we asked for rib eye but he recommended sirloin, claming that the hungarian calf is better with sirloin (probably that was what they were left with that day). The steak was a disaster. Too chewy, hard, no flavour at all. The sides and sauces were ok, although everything is very expensive. Very. Not worth a single penny. Go to Pampas steakhouse for much cheaper but for much better quality.

I went here for a wagyu burger, which has been reviewed here multiple times. The server told me they don’t have it on the menu anymore and sent me to the sister restaurant which has it. I walked there and they were closed for a few hours due to a “surprise visit.” After coming back here to scratch my burger itch, I ordered the Classic Burger, which I was told comes cooked to medium. When I mentioned to the server that it was well done, he tried to play it off by saying it cooked more after it was taken off the grill (who is he kidding). The main waiter was a bit annoying. The female waiter was pleasant. The pictures show how well done the burger was. The bun was a little dry. All in all it was a moderate burger. Wouldn’t recommend, but the fried were great.

Our server Marcell was an absolute pleasure. He made our experience here remarkable. The burgers are 100% worth the trip! And the strawberry lemonade is to die for! Would definitely visit again

Food took about an hour to be ready without the waiter letting us know prior to the huge waiting time. I would never have ordered the food if I knew that before. Steak was way way overpriced in so many ways, including its quality and readiness

Wonderful 25,000HUF test dinner! I was given the opportunity to test the place. Never have I had such a great experience! The food was one of the best, the recipes are well thought-out, prepared with meticulous care. The service is absolutely lovely, everybody is very friendly and you can be sure that here the customer comes first. Also, tremendous beer variety! Prices are very high but hey, it is an unforgettable experience!

Mediocre tourist trap. The ambiance, decor and design are nice, like every new restaurant with the Edison Bulbs, wood and metal accents. The steaks are low quality, but thank God they are not good steaks because they don't even know how to cook them. I ordered the T Bone medium, because of the bone you should get medium and medium rare, there was no seasoning and it wasn't seared, so it had no flavor or juices at all, look at how pale it was, at least try to give it some grill marks. The rice was mushy and the sirloin had a funky taste, also it wasn't cooked properly. The only good things were the sliders, fries and the salad, even my Old Fashioned was very watered down, not spicy as it should be.

Tomahawk!!!! Heyooo… This place was great. My wife and I popped in for a Burger. The guys were helpful and friendly explaining the menu. Their Heavenly Burger - for real rivals the best burger I’ve ever had. I am not a big on french fries but theirs were perfectly cooked and seasoned - no sauce needed 😄

I ordered the "Beef Heaven" burger and not only was it the best burger I've eaten this year (and I've eaten at least 15 different burgers across different countries) - it was honestly the best burger I've ever eaten! Completely worth the price!

Nice place if your a meat eater, friendly staff approach but waiter did not appear happy when our drinks order was only tap water. Menu is deceiving when ordering a steak as you expect to pay the price shown on the menu when in fact the steak is priced per 100g which is not specified....plus the steak comes with nothing everything else is a added cost. I do NOT recommend the Carbona very bland & tasteless. So a Ribeye steak on its own menu price 6900ft ended up costing 13,800ft 2 out of 4 meals consumed were enjoyed the others very disappointing.

Great restaurant!! We share a delicious barbecue dish. This was originally for a party of 4, but the staff can divide it for less people. The waiter, Peter, was great with us. He recommended good wines and had a friendly conversation with us.

I went there a Wednesday night with my fiancée. We were welcomed by a waiter named Tomi ( I asked his named at the end of the dinner, he was very kind to us) and he took our coats. He also showed us the variety of the meats the restaurant had and we chose the tomahawk. Then when was ready the waiter cut the meat in front of us and placed it on our plates. I vividly recommend this place, it is located very close to the Oktogon metro station and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
