Excellent food, from appetisers to the mithycal profitterolo. Owner Daniele is a really friendly, nice and kind person. Few owners take care of the customer like he does. Waiters are so polite and moreover you feel the atmosphere of South Italy. I discovered this place by locals in Gozsdu zone and I am so happy of having followed their advice. Picture talk clearly.

My husband and I ate here on our first day, sharing a wonderful caprice salad (with the most amazingly fresh tomatoes and mozzarella) and margarita pizza (which had the same great cheese - along with fresh and tasty sauce on a perfectly prepared crust). The wait staff were nice and helpful and the atmosphere was good. The whole meal (along with two large beers and a large sparkling water) was $30… which we thought was well-worth this great meal! We are tempted to go back again before we leave… though there are so many great options, we will try to refrain. But, if you’re in the mood for pizza, salad or pasta (we didn’t eat any but saw some great dishes), you should give this place a try.

Great unexpected gem! I just happened to walk past and ordered the amatriciana. Very tasty! Totally unexpected. Small place but friendly staff and good food. So, I’d recommend it!

We ordered selection of Italian hams and cheese, pizza Quattro formaggi, one bottle of I Magredi chardonnay 2020 and Peroni beer. Beer was very light, wine was good with food, but nothing special (priced accordingly) and food was very delicious. Service was OK.

This is a charming restaurant, tucked out of the way and well worth tracking down. Food and service are excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend the lunch menu which is excellent value for money.

This is an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Budapest. Italian owner and kitchen populated mostly by Italians. Been served by Istvan. Great person and very friendly and professional. Had a superb experience. Tagliere di salumi is more than enough for 2 people. Excellent selection of Italian charcuterie & cheese with a real Italian schiacciata. Gnocchi with cheese and speck abundant and very taste. Congratulations to the chef as this is not an easy dish. Saltimbocca alla romana well presented and succulent! All staff very professional, friendly and bright (they have the business under control and immediately identify needs of customers) Bravi!

A small, homey restaurant with a good atmosphere. Warm, smiling and kind people. We ate 3 different types of pasta (one was too spicy and it was a bit difficult to feel the taste of the dish because it was too spicy - for me it was fine). Great and high quality pizza. Nice (basic) desserts. We sat at a small table, two adults and three children. We felt at home. A good and pleasant restaurant, I would come back again on another occasion.

Love this place. Each time I come here I have a great experience. The food is very delicious and comes out surprisingly fast, the service is good and friendly, and what I love the most (okay, no, I love the food the most) is that you feel like you actually ended up in Italy with all the Italian chatter and laughter happening around you. The place is small and cozy, so I recommend making a reservation. Friday - Monday are apparently their busiest days recently. I’m dying to try out their Tiramisu - next time! :) Thank you!

Nice cozy Italian restaurants, the fact that most clients are Italian is a very good sign! The pizza dough was nice and soft and the ragu pasta just delicious.

A cosy, cool place. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. The food was very well priced and tasty. My partner had a matriciana and I had a pesto pasta. It felt very authentic. They had a range of vegetarian options. The atmosphere was nice and I would reccomend.

If you like authentic Italian food and atmosphere go too ll mulino. The owner is really nice and try to make everyone happy. I can only recommend this lovely place. It is also very local.

Very nice, authentic food, pizza was great, the dough and the toppings were really good. The pasta and the lasagne were also rather delicious. The staff was alright, nothing special, but the owner, who is there a lot, is really nice. We paid around 4000ft/person with drinks.

Very nice, kind staff and the atmosphere. Also wine was great! But… pizza was, very basic,, I had vegana. Just a few, very few pieces of veg and the aubergine was mostly raw. Not worth the price. So I would not recommend “vegana pizza” purely based on my experience. But again to say the staff was very friendly and nice.

Comparable and even better than dining in Italy in a lot of respects. Great food, friendly service and good value for money. We've been on holiday in Budapest for 2 weeks and it's our go to for Italian, tried others which don't even come close. Eat here if you want tasty authentic Italian food.

Visited this restaurant twice on our visit to Budapest, absolutely amazing food and service, lovely atmosphere. My wife and I ended up staying for a couple hours just talking after the food, lost track of time in the lovely environment. Very well priced also

Firstly, a hats off to the waiter who was excellent in making us feel comfortable and is the reason we stayed and didn’t do a walk out. The two stars goes to him and him only. The food here wasn’t bad, fairly average pizza and a caprese salad to start. The starter came as expected 10 minutes after ordering. For two pizzas we had to endure over an hour wait. What we wanted to be a quick meal ended up being 2.5 hours (8:30-11). The frustration was exacerbated in having line of sight of the kitchen, where it was apparent that there was a complete lack of speed or urgency. Secondly there were pasta dishes being sent out to tables seated an hour after we were. I then looked outside to see what I presume is the manager slouched on his motorbike and on his phone. Also lacking any understanding of the snails pace of the kitchen or frustration felt by customers. It seems like he was very quick to pack the restaurant but not so quick to help when the pace needed to be picked up. We received two Aperol spritz’s and a dessert on the house which was greatly appreciated and brings my rating from 1 to 2 stars. However, I still feel the lack of apology/awareness from the manager, lack of speed from the kitchen ruined our experience of this restaurant.

We love Italian food so much. Naturally, we eat good food in Italy. We were fascinated to find one of the best restaurants in Budapest. Highly recommended. Great tasty food and great hospitality . Love it !!!!

This bistro might just be serving the best Italian food in Budapest. The pasta is authentic and so delicious! They make the best tiramasu I've tasted too.

There is a big hype about this bistro, but you sit out, it’s very noise and not so much romantic. I do not reccomend sit next to door, people stop there and start talking. Pizza and Gnocchi doesn’t have best taste. It is average food (3,6 not great not terrible). Service was nice. The price was appropriate.

We accidentally ordered 3 main courses. But EVERYTHING IS FANTASTIC!! Fresh homemade every morning Smell so great, Not too salty, very rich and creamy!!! We couldn’t finish all of them but we brought them home for next day’s lunch. And also take away 2 desserts. Their food and service will literally makes you feel like heaven! Definitely recommend this place for anyone

Isatin as the restaurant looked pretty nice. And it turned out to be a very good idea. I was perfectly advised by the waiter and ordered some frutti di mare spaghetti. It was very nice. Also they have nice drinks. It's a very good choice for a lunch, recommended!
