Average good. Not my cup of tea. Might be good for a party weekend but if you are looking for a nice place to drink in quiet this might be a problem. Noisy and lighting is annoying. Menu is alright but don't have that much of options to choose from.

Myself and my family members ate Chilly Chicken Dry and Chicken Tandoori at Opal Lounge Bar Restaurant. Great Food and Atmosphere. Still we feel the taste of the food. Actually it was cooked and served as an Side dish. Opal Lounge Bar is the Decent Bar and we loved the ambience and service. It is the Amazing and perfect place to have fun.

We stumbled upon this amazing bar/restaurant while travelling to Mussoorie, Uttarakhand through Dehradun city during our vacation in India. Situated in the heart of Dehradun city (Rajpur road), this gastrobar boasts of a lively and energetic atmosphere, DJ/dance floor, party themed ambience and an elaborate bar with the bartenders showing off their impeccable bartending skills (juggling with bottles and playing with fire). We went for dinner on a friday night and ordered some snacks and cocktails. It was very busy and they had ample security measures in place, including bouncers who were keeping a watch. On one side of the restaurant there were high tables and chairs placed in close proximity to the bar and a DJ/dance floor at the back. Also, in this section, they had semi-circle sofa based seating arrangements for larger groups. On the other side of the restaurant, they had the traditional seating arrangement in place with multiple tables comfortably spread out. We chose this section as it was a little quieter due to its proximity from the dj/dance floor. This sectioned also seemed more suitable for families with little kids. We ordered a few non veg and veg dishes along with some cocktails. The food and drinks were palatable and delicious! Some of the items that we ordered were chicken tikka, paneer tikka, daal tadka, malai kofta and chicken rara. For drinks we ordered the cucumber mojito and pinacolada. The icing on the cake was the friendliness of the staff and the owner. The owner is a thorough gentleman as he walked across the tables talking to patrons, ensuring that everyone was having a pleasant experience. Overall, we would highly recommend stopping by at Opal for a comprehensive dining experience. They check all the major checkboxes- Good food, welcoming ambiance and friendly staff!

I visited this place yesterday as I was missing night life in dehradun. I m from delhi and used to visit sector 29 gurugram. This place is one step ahead from sector 29 gurugram as ambience the DJ and crowd is awesome. I will recommend everyone to visit this place.

You will need to hire separate dj for party(extra charges).Not a party place for friends (who likes to rock and roll🫡😗) but for family .

Gosh the DJs are bad to begin with.. I say clubbing is not a Doon thing.. they should learn from clubs of Mumbai/Goa, not even close to Delhi.

Always enjoyed going there but can you imagine you travel for 50 mins to be there assuming have good time and watch India Vs Pakistan match on 2 Sep, then you get to know they run it. Utterly Disappointing!

Regarding food and service it's awesome. But it's placed above wine shop and the lane "Gulati road" besides it's premises is so dark and full of drunkards and teasers during night hours. Avoid to visit after sunset. Do t park there. People openly drink on wall or 2 wheelers or inside car even urinate. Owner kindly take a note of it raise the issue with relevant authority.

This is amazing i loved Well love the Food quality. This pub has 3 type of sitting arrangement..one is covered then semi covered and open. So you get choice where to sit and enjoy..Live music concert available to visit. They provide extraordinary services. This place has got it all figured out. We had the best experience,loved the timely service n amazing recommendations by the staff - all in classy outdoor setting with live music playing in the background. Big shout out to the 3 friends who conceptualized the place and put their hearts into giving a perfect pub.

Nice place or I must say best place in Dehradun to hangout. A must visit place We ordered Dal jeera rice , paneer, naans & chicken lolly & chilly mushrooms food was excellent. Atmosphere was great. We went 4-5 place in near-by but they have best collection of drinks & cocktails in town for sure. I have to drive so bad luck I haven't try any cocktails. But I'll definitely try it on my next visit. Service -5/5 Food 5/5 Recommend - A BIG YES !!!!!
