A truly great coffee place has to feel special. A place to recharge with a good book and a steaming drink or to chat up a friend over that perfect pastry you’re definitely going to stop eating after one more bite. The best spots have a bit of magic to them. Choosing your perfect spot takes time and patience, but once you’ve found it, you’re set for life. Pagdandi is one of my beloved coffee haunts where you can grab a cup of coffee or a foamy masterpiece of latte art and unwind.

A yellow shutter on the slopes of rolling hills of Baner belongs to a 'cupboard under the stairs' bookstore cafe – Pagdandi! What strikes you first as soon as you enter is the very welcoming sunshine yellow door with a signboard that is made of recycled plywood! Not to forget, the eclectic lights made at the doorway that screams cool in an underlying manner. The lazy Indian sit-outs, the bamboo ceiling and bookshelves, cane chairs, guitar, quirky accessories, and the wide array of the re-circulated old books that smell close to heaven for any bookish geek!

Serving up the classic Americano, Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino, Irish Coffee to the signature Cold Coffee Frappe, Pagdandi has a lot of coffee options for coffee lovers to choose from. Not just that, for vegans, the option of soy milk is also available.

Pagdandi is one of the best book cafes in Pune city. It is a must visit place for any who love book, like to attend reading and book launches and for authors to write and promote their books. The best part about Pagdandi is their team and their dedication to promote the reading culture. There is also a cafe which serve light snacks and hot and cold beverages to keep up your reading and shopping. Do visit. Highly highly recommended.

The cafe is heaven for book lovers. The store has books at 15% off sale. There are trays of children's books too. A bookshelf outside has books that one can take, read while sipping on coffee, tea or kambucha (and a few more items) and read happily. They also serve quick bites like tart, cinnamon roll (this is pretty nice), etc. The place is a must-visit in Pune.

The place is good for book readers. They have lot of variety of books. One can enjoy reading. For food and beverage it's little expensive but not worth the price. Veg sandwich was not even grilled. Never order veg sandwich there. Not at all worth the price.

Fascinating place for reading books and enjoying coffee and desserts. The place is very cozy and addictive. After few minutes inside this cafe, I didn't feel like leaving it. Very interesting concept, I must say. However, I really wish they didn't charge for the wi-fi. It seems little greedy and that's something the management can do something about. If you choose to let this one slide, you can definitely enjoy the food very much.

Quaint Bookcafe Retreat in Baner! I discovered this charming bookcafe in Baner last month, and it's a delightful spot on the ground floor offering both a cozy cafe and a dedicated bookstore. Perfect for reading, working, or catching up with friends, the venue includes an outdoor seating area, although the WiFi is charged separately. Airtel and Jio users will appreciate the good mobile range. Efficiently managed with friendly service, I tried the tea and bun maska combo, which, with two bun servings, proved a bit much for a solo visit. The provision of extension cords for laptops and mobiles is thoughtful, attracting regulars who often work from this peaceful and quiet place. However, the chairs might not be ideal for extended periods of work. The common Buidling washroom, though kept locked, is decently maintained. For avid readers, the frequent opening and closing of doors, along with the doorbell, might slightly disrupt concentration. Despite this, the overall ambiance and offerings make it a cute and cozy retreat for book lovers in the Baner area.

A cozy place that serves amazing coffee! This place has a lot of books to choose from. You can buy books or even choose to read one over there too. The place has a small limited menu but everything that's served is superb. You can go and have a good 'me time'. The only issue here is the very limited seating. Other than that a perfect place for coffee, good books and great time.

This was a really cute and cozy little place that had a really superb collection of books, good ambience with soulful and calm music. Food was also superb, I had a Vietnamese Cold coffee which was delicious and a veggie sandwich which was really good. Overall, a perfect place to read, eat and chillout!!!! They also have their own bookstore besides the cafe which also had amazing collection, even better than crossword !!

Wonderful experience at Pagdandi Bookstore Cafe located in Regent Plaza , Baner, Pune. If you are fascinated by quaint, quiet and cosy- this certainly fits the bill. For a book lover, some 'me-time' with an interesting book and a lovely beverage is just the perfect way to connect to oneself and I really enjoyed my short stint in paradise over here, this afternoon. I stumbled into Pagdandi Bookstore Cafe whilst looking for some tea, to kill an hour between mommy errands. And I was completely fascinated by the beautiful ambience created by the owners of this eight year old Cafe. The Cafe has a brightly lit inside section which hosts the coffee counter, a small selection of muffins, cookies and biscotti, an art display, tall bookshelves laden with diverse categories of books for sale. It has such an impressive array of popular books to suit eclectic readers- children, young adults and more discerning readers as well. One can also order books from their website which are home delivered. The outside section has limited seating and a bunch of bookshelves with books available for reading at the Cafe. Pretty little succulents, add to the allure of each table. All COVID protocols are maintained with hand sanitisers placed at the entrance and at tables for guests. I enjoyed an Adrak Chai made by the very affable Aalam who manages this place with enormous expertise and ease. Full marks to his attentiveness and courtesy. I was so taken over by this charming little Cafe that offers two of my greatest wishes - books and chai , on a pleasing platter with such excellent service. Since there are Hot chocolate and cookies too , I will be soon bringing my kiddos, to enjoy their share of children's books with their favourite beverage. I gathered from Aalam that Pagdandi frequently hosts book readings, book launches and several events which feature on their Instagram and Facebook pages. So do visit positive Pagdandi for books, beverages, coffee dates with friends and family or just to catch some me-time.

This is really a good place to hangout. Gives good vibes. I visited it with my friend and we had good time here. Place is small in size but you can spend quality time. They don't charge you any fees for books and wifi. Only thing is you have to order something from there menu which has few choices of beverages and snacks. Won't comment on the menu as me and my friend had opposite opinions about the sandwich we ordered. So I would suggest to pay a visit and decide yourself.

The place has got one of the best collection of books in Pune. Love the whole idea of a cafe inside a bookstore where you can sit and chat with fellow book-lovers. The owner of the store is really helpful in arranging new books as per your request and he also comes forward to recommend books if you're not able to find something. Overall, if you go this store, you will definitely find something new to explore.

Pagdandi has fast grown to be my favourite Chai place in Baner! Their tea is made to order & in small quantities. The taste is consistent and the staff is friendly. The food is also surprisingly good. I have tried the bun maska, sandwich & bagel with cream and each of them are so good that I have a tough time deciding what to order! The vast collection of free books to read along with the tea is a bonus!

I often go there to do my office work and for reading. They also have a book Shop that houses some surprisingly obscure and important works. Friendly for people from all walks of life. Staff and the owners make you feel at home. I only wish they brought more variety in their music playlist. Hearing the same songs every time you visit can become a bit boring.

I tried Bun Maska with Chai, a Cappuccino, and an Egg Salad Sandwich at Pagdandi. The food was good, and the vibe was pleasant, but I felt it wasn't worth the price

I have frequently visited this cafe since 2015. There is something special about the vibe of this place. It instantly uplifts your spirit. The food, hospitality, sitting arrangement and the music, everything is top notch. You can come here to socialize or just enjoy a cup of masala tea while reading a book or sometimes only to find inspiration and get things done. A highly recommended place.

Lovely book cafe with soft background music and a cosy, friendly vibe. They have a mattress-couch with four 2-seater tables inside and several more tables outside. Very friendly staff. I usually drink their Adrak Chai while reading a book or writing something.

A quaint, relaxed and lighthearted vibe at Pagdandi helps take in any book you want to buy or read, do your class work, office work or just chat. A lovely range of good foods at affordable pricing. Pagdandi hosted my community mental health program in 2016 till 2018 with much warmth n support, It’s now a destination must visit in Pune.

Nice place with good vibes. Cozy. Seating out in the open inside the mall lobby. And also inside which is AC. The book cafe is popular. Good food, although the chai was better earlier. I always wish they could add more space and make it more open yet private, corner garden sort of. A cool hangout with friends but not one to take a formal guest to or have a meeting with a prospect.

I am revisiting after a few years. The space and structure has partially changed. I miss the mattress-seating. Nevertheless still enjoyed this visit. The hot chocolate and bagel certainly worth going back for

It's not exactly what you see in pics. The books kept there are for sale. Limited books to read. I went on non event day, so can't comment more. Food is average. Basically I was looking for cosy reading place which was my impression from pics. But seating area is out side in mall. Not exactly in cafe

Pagdaandi has been my all time favourite place, books+ coffee is awesome combination. Their adrak tea is out of the world. and the entire ambience is so welcoming and comfortiing. but this time, the whole cafe had a different look.. only sit out is allowed. I missed the comforting matteresses and also sitting inside the cafe. Alam is always there with a wonderful smile to welcome us. Would request Vishal to bring back that rustic ambience back in the cafe.

Pagdandi is a small book café located inside of the Regent Plaza. There is a huge variety in the books you can find here. Books are divided into two sections, ones kept out near the dining area can be read while you're having a meal, the ones kept inside need to be purchased. Pagdandi also offers its own discounts on the books! And if they don't have the book that you require they also offer to order it for you. Apart from that, the Café serves little treats like croissants and pastries and also other beverages. The staff here is kind and friendly. If you want to relax or work or simply have a chill day out, then, Pagdandi might just be the place for you!
