Great place to stay in Madrid, most top tourist places in range of 15-30 minutes walk. Front desk crew superb, one of the best I have ever had. They made our stay even more fantastic. Would go there again if I will visit Madrid again.

It was a perfect place to stay. Very clean and in the center of the city. You dont even need to take a metro or something else. You can walk anywhere you want. I chose this place to make a surprise for my friend’s birthday. It was very important for me and the room had an amazing view. When I come to Madrid again, I will stay here definetely :)

I stayed here for 4 nights and it was great!! Loved the rooms and the location was perfect, with being in a decent quieter area but still close to everything! The staff was amazing, but Alena was spectacular. She was just super helpful and made my whole trip so much easier. I will definitley be coming back!

Lovely hotel hidden behind big wooden doors opposite the palace. Close walk to parks, restaurants and shops. Staff were great, room was clean and stylish with great views. Bed was very comfy. Would like to stay longer...like 6 months!!! Fantastic.

This is an Incredible Hotel! It’s in an amazing location, in front of the palace and a 5 minute walk from the Centro. The Staff are incredibly kind and helpful. All of the rooms I’ve stayed in are very clean and spacious (I stayed in a couple). Also, the prices during the Holidays are unbeatable and more affordable than the other Hotels close by!

Loved our stay at The Central Palace. All of the staff were absolutely great, the location was excellent and the rooms were a home from home. It was our first time to Madrid and I will definitely be back. When I am I will be back to this hotel for sure.

Rooms are large but a little dated. You have to bear in mind the building is 300 yrs old and they are limited in what can be done re improvements. The best thing about this place is the location, just book a palace view room, you won't be disappointed, it was so much more than we were expecting. The staff were warm, friendly and informative.

Really enjoyed staying here, it was a little quirky and access not very disabled friendly but that was more than made up by very friendly staff and a super location with stunning views. The rooms were clean with tea and coffee facilities. The bed was comfortable and I had the best night sleep in a long time. we will definitely be going back.

This is a lovely boutique hostal located just in front of the Palace. Great location for visiting the main tourist sites and near Opera Metro line. Although we had an internal room it was a large room with comfy double bed, nice bathroom, good air-conditioning and pleasant decor. Would recommend.

What a fantastic location - right in front of the palace. Rooms are super clean and spacious and the service was courteous, warm and efficient. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a no-frills accommodation option in central Madrid with a killer view

The location is fantastic! It's across the street from the Palacio Real which is beautiful at all times of day, but especially so at sunset. There are lots of people out and about, and the city is easily walkable. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I stayed in two different rooms - a single without an interior view which was clean and comfortable, and room with a view of the palace which was spectacular.

Our safe was broken the two nights of our stay. But the room and location were great. Value to price excellent and overall super pleased. Bring your own toiletries as the ones there were sub par. Overall, would return and loved this little hotel in a fantastic location to the palace and historic district.

Updated from old building. Rooms are quaint. A/C as well as open French doors helped with outdoor heat of Spain. The views were the best in the city. The variety of restaurants was amazing. Easy to walk to all tourist attractions. Staff very helpful.

An old building from the XVIII century refurbished as a hotel, the rooms are medium-sized and decorated according to the building style. The best is its location, just across the royal palace, 400 meters from San Miguel Market and Plaza Mayor, and many other attractions. There's no breakfast since the pandemic, but downstairs, there are plenty of coffee shops, and there's also a bakery right next to it. The room is equipped as well with a frigo and electric kettle if you want to prepare your it on your own.

Stayed over the break. Excellent, friendly and helpful service. Kept my baggage for free, gave good advice for getting around. Location could not be better. Price was extremely reasonable for the proximity to everything. Only complaint was hot water was minimal. Bathroom was also on a very steep ladder, so be careful coming here if you've had a lot to drink.

I felt like royalty walking around. Such charm. My favorite part of this hotel was how nice, considerate, and helpful the receptionists were. Especially one with the name Alena. She was wonderful, we had no worries. In comparison to other 4-star and 5-star hotels I liked this one best. Plus the restaurants right outside the hotel are delicious and view is amazing. Thank you.

Tremendous! We've visited Madrid for 3 nights and we couldn't choose better. Huge, well-equipped apartment and great location for the price. Staff was helpful and friendly. 10/10

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff at the who are fluent in multiple languages and familiar with the area. Good location, right next to the palace and opera house and walking distance to many Madrid sights.

Fantastic hotel, huge and clean room, great customer service, and right next to city center. We loved our stay here for 3 days. Thank you Central Palace!

Very dissapointed by the room(s) on the first floor (lobby). The room door are paperthin so don't expect privacy if you stay on that floor. We had no view (that was expected) from our side but also no light. The room gets humid but opening the window led to the room being full of cigarette smoke from the restaurant staff smoking in the patio. No usb port on the tv. In brief terrible experience. But it mays be very different on upper floors with city view. Staff were really nice.

Perfectly located in the historical center of the city this modest but lovely hotel 🏨 offers luminous and comfortable rooms (some of them with view and balcony) Very friendly welcoming

This is a small lovely hotel within an old building. The room was quite big and the view of the palace was fantastic. The front desk is manned by very nice people with very good English. The hotel itself is in a very central place, and getting to the airport was quite simple.

I had a fantastic stay at this place for many reasons: - well located (in front of the royal palace i don’t think you can get better than that right?) - the entrance feels so luxurious even though this is very affordable - rooms are really pretty and clean - staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I don’t think I’ve seen better staff in a long time. - bonus point for the terrace that we got on top, which was beyond beautiful with an amazing view of the palace. This place is a little haven of peace. - you can watch Netflix on your TV Next time I’m in Madrid I will be staying there again for sure!

I’m leaving this review to specially mention Alena who is the daytime receptionist who is absolutely wonderful. We had a baggage situation and she handled it so well for us. This was our first day in Spain and we were so happy we chose this place. The hotel is close to everything to see in Madrid, shopping, eating etc. Highly recommend. Shoutout to Alena!
