If there was a way for me to give it minus 5 stars, I would. Worst tour GUIDE ever!!!!!!! On our way to Avila and Segovia. She had red hair I think her name was Helena. Made the entire trip awful. Spoke in spanish for 10 min and did a 2 minute transulation in english. I don't think she really spoke english. Gave us wrong information. Talked on the phone too much. Just walked in the middle or near the end of the group. Left people behind. We were on the bus a total of over 4 hours and she said nothing . The walking tour consist of just walking. Just to name a few disappointing behaviors. Could have been a good trip so pick another company and have a better time.

Horrific Experience on the AvilaĀ yĀ SegoviaĀ FullĀ DayĀ TourĀ fromĀ Madrid tour today. I have been on numerous tours throughout the United States and Europe and this by far was the worst. Avoid this tour company. Discovered on the bus the tour we purchased did not entrance into the churches and castle. No one explained this until we were well into the drive. We would have purchased the additional fees to enter the churches and castles. We were paired with other people who purchased the entrance fees and were told just to wait outside or get a coffee. I suggest in the future you divide the groups. Also, this was a bilingual tour of both English and Spanish. The guide spent spent much more time talking in Spanish. Another suggestion is divide the group into English and Spanish speakers. The tour did include one hour walking in each city. Our tour guide today seemed inexperienced and not knowledgeable about either city. We walked throughout Avila and the tour guide only explained 4 locations, we had several periods where there was no discussion or explanation of what we were seeing. In Segovia she explained maybe 10 minutes of the 60 minutes. The tour guide was also very poor at giving directions and explanations for meeting spots or what to do next. Also, I never seen a tour where the guide was not leading the group. Overall, I feel like this was a completely wasted day trip away from Madrid. I highly recommend going with a international company like Grayline Tours. We saw several Grayline Tours going on today, all the tour participants had individual headsets with the tour guide constantly talking and explaining what was going on. Don't waste your money and time with this tour company.

Half day tour to Toledo. We were rushed so fast we had no time for even water. None provided and when the driver of the bus finally said he had some, we were charged e2. Tour needs to be e tended by at least one hour to give us time to truly appreciate the sites. Guide was very abrupt.

They left me and my 6 year old stranded in Avila with no way to return to Madrid. They had our bag and money on the bus. We speak only broken Spanish, had a child, and no wallet/laptop/phones that cost $20 per minute to use in Spain. The guide said ā€œgo see the church, then go to the bathroom, and come back to the bus. We did only those things, though 6 year olds do take some time in the bathroom. We walked up to see the bus driving away. We called the company and they said to get a taxi to the next stop. We did and the taxi took a few minutes to arrive. By the time we got to the next stop, 13 minutes later when he knew we were coming, they had left the city to head to Segovia. He said ā€œthis wasnā€™t a private tour, there are othersā€ ... there were six others on this tour besides us and we had followed his directions!! It is a 72 Euro drive to Segovia by Taxi. I handed the taxi driver all of the cash I had on me and got out at Cuatro Postas with a child in 1C temps, no money, 2 hours from our hotel... (pictured below) We finally got home. Our last day of Vacation was a panicked quest to get my child, who had no food or drink since breakfast, back to Madrid.

Never again! We booked a tour to Avila-Segovia. We had to be there at 8:30 just to start the tour -after a lot of confusion- at 9:20am. We paid 74euros per person, all admissions included. Without admissions the price was 52 euro, so we paid 22 euros for entries to cathedrals etc, only that in reality these entries amounted to only 6 euros!! We were 66(!) persons in one group which meant a lot of waiting and some misunderstandings as we had only one guide. Whenever you weren't close enough to the guide, you couldn't hear him through the audiophones. We didn't have enough time to see everything. It was a total ripoff and a waste of timeĀ  Go on your own or definitely book with another tour operator.

I am currently at the train station right now, and why you ask. Well the bus driver never picked me up for the Toledo tour in TOLEDO (an hour away from Madrid) and now I have to wait an hour for a train that I paid for in addition to the tour and the pickup which I repeat NEVER CAME. I am furious right now, do not trust this company. I thought the tour was great until this happened. Not worth the stress, find a different place. I expect a full refund but knowing the situation Iā€™m in currently, I doubt they will do that. I even called them and emailed them way before to assure my pickup was at the correct time, they never responded. This company sucks, I repeat, find a different one!

The Trapsatur agency did a poor job of communicating via email, but once the trip left, it was all very good. Pilar was our guide, and she was excellent - switching back and forth between English and Spanish with ease, and sharing useful information. (Did the Avila & Segovia trip. "Gourmet Lunch" was great. Not a lot of free time to wander, but the sites we did see and the paths we took from one to the next all worked well.)

I booked a tour to Segovia and Avila for four people through the website Nattivus. Although the guide was polite and attentive, the overall quality of the tour and travel agency was very low, both in content and organization. From not showing up at the meeting pointā€”no explanation given to giving incorrect historic information, there were many flaws.

The tour is not bad, you know a lot of cities, however, the guide was so rude, so bad communication between her , the driver and all the costumers. There were so many cities that the stayed wasnā€™t enough , we just had time to have lunch. Prepare yourself to be half of the trip on a bus. Iā€™m grateful for the trip but I wouldnā€™t do it again. The guide ruined half of the experience.

Trapsatur. A disaster. They take you in buses of more than 50 people. You lose a day traveling anywhere. In Toledo they arrive from Granada. At noon they take you to eat until 3 pm. You don't know anything. In 2 hours they charged us for the tickets to the Alhambra and we could not enter. They didn't give them their money back either. SCAMMERS

Unfortunately, once again poor management has caused this company to go into bankruptcy and a more than certain bankruptcy and closure. The employees and guides still do not receive what they owe us.

Good agency, really like how you meet at their office to start the tour. Much less stress than trying to find tour guide somewhere else.

They didn't follow the itinerary, the driver got lost on the road, we had to stay in a ZERO star roadside hotel. The guide slept while we waited on the bus. Bad experience. From what I see from the testimonies, it remains the same. My trip was in 1998 and the guide who slept late was called Alberto
