Based on reviews on Google , we tried this place during our Madrid trip. This place certainly deserves 5 stars. We tried malai kofta , Alu Gobi , egg fried rice & garlic naan , all dishes are made to perfection . We tried many restaurants across Spain during our visit , this is the best food we found . Service is excellent , both gentlemen in the service area are very professionals and attentive . I strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Indian food .

Very good Indian food for really reasonable prices. We haven’t had Indian food for a while and this place did not disappoint us. Chicken Tandoori was juicy and tasty and garlic naan was also nice. Chicken Korma was creamy and delicious. We enjoyed each and every dish. Their service was also great. They certainly tried their best to make you feel welcome.

Gooooo here - fabulous food, friendly waitstaff!! Recommend chicken and lamb dishes. We asked for moderate heat and it was perfect! Quiet and peaceful.

A must go too! The staff were very friendly and the food was out of this world! They started us out with complementary papadams with a variety of sauces. You can always tell an Indian place is going to be good when the papadams are fresh and deelishis. We started with onion bhajis. Very crisp and seasoned well. They refilled our sauce tray for this appetizer, which was very kind. The entrees were amazing: chicken tikka masala and a veggie curry, garlic naan, and a side of rice. It was the perfect amount for 3 people. Everything was fresh and seasoned ( we asked for medium spice level, it was a bit spicy for my mother). The flavor of everything was fantastic and fulfilling. We left feeling super satisfied and well fed. Plus great prices! I would recommend Masala Darbar to anyone traveling through Madrid!

The restaurant is very clean, friendly staffs, delicious Indian foods. We ordered lamb curry, chicken tandoori and they are very tasty and soft. Garlic Naan is perfectly soft and not oily at all. Finished with the mango ice cream that has such a nice combination of the spices and a bit salt. If you are looking for a nice Indian restaurant in the center area of Madrid, I Highly recommend this place :)

I was in Spain for several weeks and needed a change. I chose this place just based off of Google reviews and was extremely happy with my experience. The food was absolutely fantastic and 100% authentic. If I didn't want to keep exploring Spain's cuisine I would have gone back a couple more times.

We LoVe this place!! We loved it since the first time really, now we just came back whenever we feel like it. First, they give you the most delicious snacks with 3 different kind of sauce. Second, everything is delicious, but this cheese garlic Nann is literally outside of this world, it’s just sooo good. It’s so good we just want to order lots of it and eat it the whole day in the sofa. Three, the service is just lovely, they will attend to all your needs when they are not too busy, everyone just seems like genuinely nice people. It’s just exceptional. Masala Darbar is THE authentic Indian restaurant in Madrid. Even if I can’t eat spicy food (I was operated in my stomach some years ago), I went to this restaurant because a friend I went with loves that kind of food. So, I asked the owner which food he would recommend me and it was ‘Buttered chicken’, besides some samosas and naan bread with different sauces as starters, even desserts were fantastic. In the end, everything was delicious and we had some complimentary drinks! (Portions are huge, we had to ask for a doggie-bag!) The service was superb, all staff were very attentive, and respectful. The place is soberly decorated, the temperature was ideal, (and the toilets were spotless!). In a word, high-quality food at very reasonable prices, the best value for your money in Madrid! 10 out of ten for Masala Darbar!

Delicious food and great service. I ordered the menu de degustación, which - warning: is way too much food for one person - but everything was very good. 10/10!

The owner was very friendly and made adjustments to the food after learning that we were allergic to almonds so that we could enjoy the food. We were very pleased with the food and the environment was clean and comfortable.

I’m an Indian food lover and tried tens of restaurants and have to say this one is one of the best. Butter Chiken and Lamb Korma were delicious! Cheese naan had an actually layer of cheese! Very good Indian restaurant and super friendly staff!
