One of the best Nadan food in Thalassery area. They serve fish curry meals in banana leaf ( biriyani too). Then they will come with specials. Karimeen fry, kallumekkaya fry, clam thoran, Ayala fry etc. Meen mutta thoran( fish egg varaval) is very famous but it is seasonal. Only rainy season time will get fish eggs. Rates are normal and very affordable. If you wish to visit, make sure your are starving or empty stomach since those people will serve you at extreme level. They normally serve rice for you which is already for 2 person(if you tell, I can't eat this much, then they smile and tell it's ok , you can eat slowly). And they will not take cash if special dishes are not tasty. Meals are just 40rs and everything is unlimited (if you dare to ask second time since first time itself more than sufficient) except special dishes. Thing is their service is excellent and food is tasty. People will come out only with full stomach and smile in face from this restaurant. My rating is 4/5.

Food is of poor quality..no cleanliness at all. I had ordered meals, neymeen fry, ayakoora fry and elambakka. Except ayakoora fry nothing was good. Elambakka was not well cooked, it tasted pathetic. Rice had a cabbage carrot thoran which which was made with old vegetables which are not at all fresh. Sambar was just ok and fish curry was made with old curd which made it taste bad. Then pickle was also there which had lemon with some chilli or pickle powder. I could not eat properly due to the cheap quality of food. Please improve the food quality. People are paying for food. We are not eating it for free. I'll never have food from this restaurant again.

Visited twice in the last 6 months. Always crowded with people waiting to get a seat. A no nonsense eatery serving the best of meals and accompaniments. A typical banana leaf meal consisting of choice of rice, a dry veg stir fry, pickle, sambar and a ground coconut fish curry with hardly any fish visible. Once the meal is served a platter of days special fried fishes are nrought to the table to choose from.A sumptuous malabar style meals served in a very humble surroundings. Never disappoints. I suggest if you pass by that route don't miss it.
