Wow!!! Tukkad (Moti Roti) with Daal superbbb. Size of One Tukkad is sufficient for two. Eat it with Ghee. One should stop and have it. Too Good!!!!!

Open 24hr, this is an amazing vegetarian dhaba (highway restaurant). The food at Mahalakshmi is an authentic Rajasthan food experience. The must try at this place is the tukad (a 12inch and bit thicker version of the roti), sev tamatar sabji, lassan chatni, masala khichya. If it's summer the chach (buttermilk) is a must have. There is ample parking right in front. They feature a outdoor, dhaba style seating and at the same this they have an indoor dining option as well. Please note, the hygiene standards are that of a dhaba, very basic. If you are a true foodie and love the dhaba experience you have to eat at Mahalakshmi.

It was about my last trip tu Rajasthan. I am surprisingly know that they more than a large size Tukkal serve with desi ghee and vegetables and I surprised that it was a tasty and delicious food that I ever had. Moreover the staff and the environment are helpful and clean. I will try whenever i will go to Rajasthan i will definitely visit again.

It is a Rajasthan Daaba on the Aburoad Pali Highway near Sirohi. It is one of the best places for Rajasthan style daaba. We tried palak paneee Aloo pyaz and Sev Tomato. Cannot judge what was the best of all. Must try if you are enroute to somewhere on this route.
