This is one of my very favorite theme parks. Islands of adventure is also a must. Restrooms are clean and stocked, restaurants are always fresh and delicious. Staff is always friendly. Especially when you are purchasing the tickets in the very beginning. Plenty of fans and misting Stations to keep you cool while you wait for the rides… This park always makes you feel like you’re part of the movies. It takes more than just one day to cover everything. Maybe give Disney a break and try Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for your next vacation destination.

Perhaps this place is better when you don’t go in the summer, but my visit being in the summer, I couldn’t possibly have been satisfied with the volume of crowds. We had to wait up to 2 hours to get on a ride, which took 2 minutes tops. Yes, the rides are spectacular, but having spent 10 hours in the park we only managed to squeeze in 5 rides. And the price? Not worth it. I can think of far better ways to spend money

We had a lot of fun. We went after New Year, it was full they say is a very busy time, anyways we couldn't get in many rides plus there were couple delays. We got little disappointed about transformers we ride it and it got frozen, but they allowed us to ride again for some reason it happened again lol. They gave us a express pass for 1 attraction ride. We were able to see a lot even if we were only to make 4 rides. We had the express pass for 4 pm but we couldn't even use it much because many rides were delays and the waiting time were even with the pass 1 hour. But still it is an amazing play. Now we have the annual pass so we can come back Any other day.

Our experience was a great one. No complaints at all. The scene on a Saturday after 8pm was unexpected. The guests were enjoying themselves everyone seemed to have a great time. For good eats I recommend Antijtos in City Walk.

One of the best vacations I've been on, especially with being over 21. I had been to Universal Studios in Florida multiple times as a child and loved it then but going as an adult was even more fun. The rides, attractions and shows were so fun. There's so much to do and so much variety. We went to Halloween Horror Nights one night and it was amazing. The people in costumes and smoke/fog everywhere were so awesome that it felt like a completely different place at night. I definitely recommend Fast Passes for any night you can afford but definitely for Halloween Horror Nights. There were tons of people there but that actually added to the "spooky" factor of the theme park. Even without the fast passes, it wasn't bad getting on rides for every other day and night we were at the park. This was genuinely one of the best vacations I've ever been on. I would definitely recommend this as a vacation spot for all ages, young and adult alike.

One of my favourite places ever! The cleanliness was on point this visit and maintenence did well getting broken rides back working swiftly. Queues to enter the park were not managed well however. I hope they sort that out

We loved this park! There is a lot of walking and stores to visit and things to see. Lots of vendors everywhere. We also did Halloween Horror Nights with express tickets and it was BEYOND WORTH THE COST! Lines were just ridiculously long and wait times were for a long time. Having an express pass each, we were able to experience all 10 haunted houses, ride a couple of rides, and sit down to eat food together. All with 1 hour left to the park closing. Absolutely amazing experience still! Highly recommend this park! Phenomenal!!

I recently visited Universal Studios Orlando and it was an experience filled with both thrills and patience. The park itself is beautiful and amazing, offering a vast array of attractions and entertainment that truly brings movie magic to life. The rides are top-notch, with cutting-edge technology that immerses you in the world of your favorite films and shows. However, the long lines can be a bit annoying. While it’s understandable given the park’s popularity, the wait times for some attractions were quite lengthy, often exceeding an hour. This can be especially challenging if you’re visiting with young children or during peak seasons. On the upside, the park offers several kinds of entertainment to make the wait more comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, ensuring the environment remains upbeat. Plus, there are plenty of shows and smaller attractions to enjoy while waiting for the big-ticket rides. Overall, Universal Studios Orlando is a must-visit for movie buffs and thrill-seekers. Just be prepared for the lines, and consider investing in an Express Pass if you’re short on time. Despite the waits, the experience is well worth it!

So much fun. We spent 3 days at the parks and had a blast. And I loved the child swap for rides, it made it so everyone was able to ride, and little one was able to get out of the heat and into air conditioning while waiting. Though I wish I was able to bring the stroller when the little one was asleep, but I understand that it would be a space issue if every parent brought a stroller through. I loved the detail of the areas, especially the Harry Potter towns and Dr. Seuss area.

Despite the torrential downpours at the Islands of Adventure, we had a great time. There is something for everyone of every age. From the awesome rides to the nostalgic attractions to the great food, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Islands of Adventure was a bit more enjoyable because it had more interactive attractions. Universal Studios was fun, but it seemed to have more shopping than anything else. Only downsides are sometimes long waits for rides and high parking fees. We paid $30 a day to park for the different areas (Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and Universal Studios). I wish I could post more than the 50 picture limit :)

We had a great time here at Universal Orlando, and it didn’t take long to enter as we had purchased the tickets in advance. Love the aesthetics in the park. One thing I was not a fan of, and likely just myself, is how much screens and projections were used here in the shows and rides. For myself I quite enjoyed the rides and shows at Disney more for that reason. But other than that the experience was good, and would definitely recommend.

Such a great place to visit. Regardless if you have a quick pass or not expect to wait in long lines. Remember- sunscreen, a towel, bottle water, stay hydrated. Get the refillable Coke (it's the best value you'll find!) They are all over the park can't miss 'em. Having an idea of what you want to see and ride and help map out your day(s) better. You don't want to rush all day, that's not fun.

Absolutely so much fun!!! A little bit of everything to do. And if you don't feel like doing anything, just waking around is just as good. Always get an annual pass to here. So worth it.

Fun for generations of all ages! Great Views! Enjoy the direct views of the park from the room of observation deck (floor 17). Great staff! Helpful, Welcoming and Knowledgeable. Great food options in the hotel for every palette. The hotel is clean and has a new hotel appearance. Great Location! The hotel shuttle takes you right to both parks and Universal walk. or Walk across the street to the Sapphire Hotel and enjoy the boatride to the park (in the heart of Universal City Walk). Add reasonable prices and this is a great hotel choice! Well be back!

Spent Saturday Sunday and Monday at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I am guessing mid June is a good time to go. Crowd to get in when it opened was big so recommend going later. Crowds were small considering all the turn lanes were not all being used. It got busier on Monday, lesser on sat and sun. Harry Potter stuff was cool. I Didn’t get a park hopper didn’t feel I really needed it. Three days we felt were enough but maybe we got lucky. Used single rider and got on most rides quicker. Expect to have sticker shock on mostly everything. You are allowed to bring in drinks and snacks and you can fill your water bottles at the drink stations. Literally walked 11 miles a day so bring good shoes.

I had a blast. The only issue was attempting to eat at the restaurants proved difficult. Each restaurant you needed reservations. We finally was able to eat at Jimmy Buffet's restaurant (I can't remember the name..sorry). The atmosphere was great and the bartender (Chad) was phenomenal.

Park is pretty boring except diagon alley is absolutely amazing! Workers throughout the parks are very clueless, so do research before coming cause employees don't know answers to anything and are absolutely no help in any way. Food is way over priced and more expensive then going to the other big parks close by, even merchandise is more expensive then any other park around.

Very expensive but a very special place. Myself and my daughter loved every minutes of it. A few tips for those thinking of traveling: 1. Bring your own food and snacks to the park with you. At the time of writing, a 500ml bottle of water was $5.50 2. If you know in advance you will be getting photos within the park (3 or more), consider purchasing the photo pass 3. If your budget permits, purchase Express pass tickets before you travel. I purchased 2, 5 day express pass tickets (which included entry to the park) for $760 each. You will save a lot of time accessing rides using these 4. Purchase a neck fan. You won't regret it 5. If you suffer from chafing, get yourself some cycle shorts before you go. These were a game changer 😂 I'm sure there is more but these would be my go too if I was to travel there again.

Universal is just great. In my opinion the main park (Universal Studios Florida) is 10x better than Islands of Adventure. This is just so much better with tons of stuff to do and a great experience. Islands is also great but this just destroys it in so many ways. Long wait lines, of course, but buying the fast express pass can help alleviate that. Came 9 years ago and now it is pretty much the same with some new rides such as Skull Island. It is extremely expensive (especially in peak Summer) and gets super hot, but it's fun. I really wish both Studios and Islands would add more seating, under shade, yes, but so many people just want to sit down to eat for 10 minutes! Food options could always improve but it is a theme park so yeah. But overall great. 5/5

Great resort with plenty to enjoy for all ages. Plenty of variety of entertainment. Visually outstanding. Download the app to keep an eye on wait times for rides but also pick up a free map/brochure on entry for easy reference to find your way to the rides. Stay til the end for a visual water show that needs to be seen to be appreciated.

Lovely resort. Beautiful grounds. Big beautiful pool. Only complaint was the game room was not in good working order, it kept taking money but the games would not work and there was no one on staff there to help. The other complaint was the restaurant on property. Portions very small and not to our liking. There were 3 of us and the bill was roughly 160. We did not have any alcohol and two of us just had water to drink. This was not what I was expecting from a 5 star hotel. I would 100% return to the resort just not the restaurant.

The Harry Potter area is perfection. There are tons of cute spaces to explore in that section. You must get a wand to take part in the fun interactive things. The Gringots ride is the best ride in universal. The areas outside of Happy Potter were cute but not comparable.

The rides are amazing and there is so much to see and so. The only thing I would change is that there aren't as many restaurants as there should be. Don't eat in the Simpsons world, food was extremely mediocre considering the outrageous cost. It isn't even real cheese on the burger, it's cheese sauce. We got the express passes and, even though it basically doubled the cost, it was worth it.

I really enjoyed this place. We went for the harry potter themes attractions for my kiddos and all the rides and activities are very immersive! Even the 4D rides do things to limit the motion sickness that I am prone to. And the attention to detail is incredible! We didn't try very much food here but it's a negative. It's meh. And the prices, oh my god...you seriously charge $$$ for a set of doll dresses? That's outrageous? That is really the only reason for a knock down on the stars because it degrades the experience. I don't like penny pinching and usually just swallow the prices for "the experience" but I couldn't here. My wife said "are we buying a prom dress or a costume?"

I really loved this park, u can scan your ride and go enjoy the rest of the park, and be notified when it's time to ride. They allow coolers, (soft sides) no bottles, so we packed drinks, fruit and sandwiches. The park has something for everyone JUST look out for the waves 😃

Great park. Everything here is so well planned. More thrills and excitement than any other park. Also universal has not fallen into the no smoking or refillable drinks trap of other parks so can be enjoyed easily for the whole day

Great place. Advise to get there as early as possible. If you're staying in a local/affiliated hotel then you can get there an hour earlier than the general public, 8am instead of 9am. It gets really hot!!! Be prepared to bring water and sunscreen and a cap/hat. There's plenty of places for drinks and food. Lots of bathroom facilities and lockers too. Some rides have seat testers on them so you can see if you can fit the rid seats.

It was more crowded because it was the first weekend the Christmas decor is up. It was great seeing the decor. I would try to get there either before park open to beat the crowd or wait a couple of hours. If you have a season pass or only want to go for a bit, the lines are shorter after 11. Getting tickets before helps skip one of the lines. And lines were long between 9-10am

Love to visit Universal the rides are wonderful and they have dining options for multiple price ranges. We went during a weird time where a number of locations were under construction to make room for new attractions so I'm excited to see the fresh things they have planned. The one minus is that while we LOVE the refillable cup (it's our favorite survivor) the fill ups stations were few and hard to find. It's usually hot and with the amount of walking required if you plan to really explore the park adding a few more in plain site (not inside a restaurant) locations would be helpful.

Kids had good time! We didn’t have time to go visit the park but we had great time at city walk - kids were satisfied by gifts and food and sweets! Will return with enough time and money to go up to the roll coaster when both kids are grown enough to not be scared by the heights!

this place is absolutely perfect for the family! it consists of both kid and family rides. there's plenty to do here and you won't get bored. however, it's best to arrive early in the morning because of how busy the park tends to get later in the day. there are also wait times listed on each ride so that you'll be able to see about how long you will be in line depending on that particular ride. food service was alright, but the food was delicious in general. the park itself is so lively and decorated which added a very nice touch to everything and id love to come back and visit. be sure to visit before it's the busiest season for visitors or you'll be stuck in the longest lines ever! Great place for older kids who love rides. Not for toddlers or any kids who don't like excitement. There's lines for everything for food to rides. Velocicoaster was a must go. One of the best rides ever.

We visited for the first time and it is as magical as we thought it would be. Like.most theme parks it's expensive. However plan ahead, find a deal and plan to go more than one day because the lines are long and there are massive amounts of people. Take a bottle of water and few snacks in your bag because the lines to eat are long as well. Use their app for ordering food while in line this may help you in the long run. We are not roller coaster riders so we didn't think we needed the express passes but even the simulated rides and shows had long Line as well, you may want to splurge for the express if you're impatient or pressed for time. Check YouTube for insiders Informal. Their are a ton of hotels within 10- 15 miles of the parks. I won't recommend our hotel because it left much to be desired. Just do your homework and find hotel accommodation with a kitchenette. Plan to stay 4 nights to get the best experience and have a blast

Simply amazing! There's a lot of bang for your buck but it is my personal opinion that the park hopper is the best solution get here early do both parts to do all the things to get the most out of your money. One part can certainly work for an easy day with the family but if you're looking to hit as many things as possible you can definitely get more in with a hopper

The rides are great! I enjoyed my experience here and made lots of great memories. The parades were very fun and enjoyable and doubled as great souvenirs. However, please note that the lines are long without any passes just like any other amusement park. In addition, while the food is good, it’s also costly.

Had a great time. Harry Potter was the best by far. It was very realistic with so much to see. The wands were expensive but a lot of fun following the map and "casting spells". Get the wand first so you can use it as you walk around. The line for the ride was very long. Get there early. There are 2x as many people in Harry Potter as there is in the rest of the park. Don't forget the butter beer!

Visited during Thanksgiving break. First time for my kiddo. The weather was beautiful kinda cool at night. The park wasn't as crowded as we expected, which was great. We rode almost everything available. The staff overall was pretty helpful and kind. Definitely hope to return again as it was quite enjoyable.

I love Universal! The atmosphere when you first walk in makes you feel like a kid all over again. Everything is a bit pricey, but I feel like that’s expected for theme parks nowadays. I highly suggest making reservations for restaurants inside the park weeks to months in advance. It will fill up otherwise and you’ll be left eating really late or at grab and go shops! Rides are also extremely long so if you have lot you want to do, plan to go early! We can’t wait to go back next year for Halloween! Get BUTTERBEER!! If you don’t, you’re missing out!

  • 5/5 Crystal T. 6 months ago on Google
Horror night was amazing. It is my first time and it was whole experience. My favorite attraction was the Harry Potter World. Each street had scary or spooky actors in various costumes, ready to make you jump. It’s a great times for friends and family. They mentioned that younger children should not take part, but I think my 10 year old could handle it.

Family trip for the kids to enjoy the world of Harry Potter. Fun experiences, high prices, exactly as you’d imagine. Plenty of opportunities to see near domestic disputes, and walk through people sneaking a cigarette. Grab some Butter Beer and let the kids have a blast!

This is Definitely a place like no other . The Rides, entertainment, and scenery are absolutely amazing. I'm an annual pass holder and I can say I never get tired of this place. Annual pass is suggested if you are gonna go more then 3 times a year plus you get a percentage off all merchandise and meals. (depending on which annual pass you get ) The butter beer is a must try .

We went for Halloween Horror Nights 🎃 Hit 5 haunted houses 👻 & a show. The show was incredible. Great performance 💯 👏 My only suggestion to them & many others is to let a small group of people go in, wait 2 or 3 minutes & then let another small group go. Not scary at all but still had a great time. ❤️ Universal Studios

A great family experience. Friendly atmosphere, different scenery for everyone. Wheel chairs, elevator for ages and handicap. Adult drinks. I love it need more time to explore. Go as early as possible and leave as exhausted as possible then you know you had fun😊

This is a great place to visit weather you are traveling with children or not. The park is very interesting with lots of different parts to visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. A couple of pointers... it's very hot so light clothing and good walking shoes are a must. There are stations were you can fill a container with water or soft drinks for free, you're best bet is buy a refillable cup thay cost about $19 but it's cheaper if you buy multiples of two or more...ie: one for $19 but two is about $32-5 instead of $40. It's cheaper to buy them from one of the vendors outside rather than from inside one of the shops. I would definitely recommend this place.

  • 5/5 Josh A. 6 months ago on Google
It's always a 5. Star reviews for this place is amazing, fun, and full of activities for adults and the kids. Every restroom was clean, and the food was amazing at all. The stops highly recommended getting the refill cup. You can refill your cup every 10 min and get slushy in it, too !!!!! Overall, it was a great experience and great family fun

It's everything you'd expect. Great food and fun rides and the themeing is really on point. Have a meal at Mythos-yes its expensive, but worth it. I highly recommend taking every precaution and defense against the heat and sun. My only complaint is that shade can be hard to find sometimes.

First time coming to universal Orlando as a birthday gift from the wife and I went in blind without knowing what it was about what they had and we went to both the main park and the Harry Potter side. The first side being the main section was fun and as we went directly in at opening and was the first 100 people inside the park we pretty much got on all the rides immediately with no wait what so ever which was awesome. The themes were just fantastic. Now this is what I will say I thought this was like every other theme park with huge roller coasters, wrong… most of them were 3d and were on a small track. With that being said the graphics, the attention to detail, and craftsmanship of the art they put into those 3d interactive coasters were phenomenal. I personally wish they had big roller coasters but I appreciated everything I rode and how well it was thought out. E.T ride I felt I was in the movie what. Blast I had. The prices of food and water is traditionally high for. Any theme park across the country as you would expect. Me and my wife also did the horror events and while it was cool interacting with the actors and walking around in the fog and darkness I think the wait times for the haunted houses were absolutely horrible. You’re already baking in the sun if you bought the day passes and while your wait you just sit in. The sun for more hours. When it was finally our turn to enter into the haunted house while they put every thought and effort into the detail it was poorly executed as the actors would jump out every other group or so the actors didn’t really get to scare you as much as it should of. But I guess that’s the price hiu pay when tens of thousands of people are waiting to enter the same haunted house attraction.

I've been a regular visitor here since I was a kid. It's an amazing resort that, in my opinion, rivals Disney on quality and value. Halloween Horror Nights is also one of the best theme park events I've ever been to. I recommend booking a hotel that is on the canal so you can take a quick water taxi to CityWalk and the parks.

  • 4/5 Debbie C. 6 months ago on Google
Great time. Although it's very expensive and the wait times for rides are ridiculous. We managed to to get onto a fair few rides. The atmosphere is great as well. We also did the Horror Night, would recommend going a separate time for that as it is far too much to do it all at once. Also I would advise to download the Universal Resort app. as this gives information for the rides and waiting times. Also shop around for ticket prices as we reliased the tickets would have been cheaper if we had purchased them in the UK.

Had a beautiful experience at Universal Orlando! Harry Potter lovers would have a blast! But the Harry Potter rides are spread across two parks(Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure). Both Harry potter rides are amazing! New york ride featuring Jimmy Fallon was a surprisingly very good ride, it’s very underrated!

Great place. Attention to detail in everything. It was a holiday week so really busy not sure how it is on regular days. I have a problem standing for long periods as I'm a 100% disabled veteran so they gave me a pass where they give you time to come back and wait only like 10 minutes instead of 2 hours. If you can afford it get the express pass and you don't have to wait. The only thing is some rides don't take it which is frustrating especially if you paid the same price as the tickets.

This is my 5 time to Universal Orlando and things has changed since last time back in 2018. More rides, more shows, cool 3d rides. My twin lived the new Minions ride asking with Transformers and other rides. Three Mommy Ride which I love was closed 😔 as well as Shrek. They did day they will open something new instead. The downside was the waiting time. I mean it was almost an hour waiting for each ride and the express is very expansive while having a big family! Overall it was fun and the kids loved it!

  • 5/5 Steven B. 1 year ago on Google
Knowledgeable and helpful staff, average kiosk vendor knew where to go. Universal app was very useful. Could sort on ride, kind of ride, dining, bathrooms, etc. Harry Potter areas we awesome. Impressive attention to detail. Be aware that overweight riders (like me) may have difficulty getting on coasters due to the restraints. Hogwarts castle nightspot was short but worth seeing. Express tickets allowed us to ride a lot more than others. Expensive but a great time saver.

Worth the day spent here, we went on a Thursday right after we arrived! We got a lot to do and a lot to eat around! I was very excited with the rides and excited to be down here and enjoying the moments with my family! Get here early to get proper parking! The best time is before they open and enjoy the park! I would come here and enjoy the theme park well! The best perk is to get the express pass to skip the long lines, we had to wait 2 hours for one ride! So please invest into the express pass. Makes it so much easier to fit a lot into your day. But overall, good experience at Universal Orlando!

Great park very clean and well-managed. We went the Friday before the 4th and the lines we reasonable. We both commented that we did not feel overwhelmed by crowds. We were a bit surprised to say the least with the park admission and unlimited fast pass price. But we chalked it up to have a premium experience you're gonna pay.

I am a pass holder of the parks and absolutely loved my many visits. The staff were helpful and the rides were modern and great. Some rides had a very long wait time but they were worth it. Highly recommend this resort. I will be sure to come back sometime. Take advantage of the early park admission if you can and if they have it. Amazing resort
